I am so sorry Polter! Keep going though, you will get there.

Albadross · 24/11/2016 20:09

Thank you Rat I hope you're right, but it's a shame that they don't think to check these things out when they fail to make any progress with therapy that generally works - especially when they work so closely with people that would be able to tell one hopes.

It worries me that although I've told my psych that my mum died 14 years ago more than once, she continues to ask me what my relationship with her is like now Hmmseriously makes me question whether she actually has a clue. They tend to ask leasing questions and the previous doc bullies me into meds I didn't want and engineered me into be docile

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 20:39

Okay, that's it; I've waited long enough now. Can I have my offers, please?

SwearyInn · 24/11/2016 20:48

autisicrat ha ha ha! Grin

I recognise that impatience sooooo much!

SwearyInn · 24/11/2016 20:50

Also - what do you want to study?

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 20:56

I wonder if I should've gone with my original instinct of English and History. And should I have picked Warwick and Durham instead of Southampton and York? 😣 Grin

I used to say I was studying English Literature as physics didn't go down well with the boys.....

(I went to one the Uni's you mentioned btw!)

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 21:04

chill

I might have to dig into my enormous lorazepam stash (insane GP prescribed me 84 of them) to do that Grin

I'm one of life's worriers; I've made my peace with that. At least I hope I have. Because if I haven't I'm doomed; what if I never learn to deal with it arrrrgh Wink

God give me patience and hurry up about it!

Love it Grin

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 21:05

If I'd met you and you'd told me you were studying physics you'd instantly go up pretty high in my fanciability rankings.

Crash and burn.......(with Star Wars being the only obsession exception)

Though I do have a Scottish accent - does that help?

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 21:33

:( Such a shame. I hate Star Wars.

Depends what Scottish accent…

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 21:35

My accent is not really definable as I've lived in England so long. It's just scottish.

I had a friend from Sheffield once. And I saw a play at the Crucible.

rivierliedje · 24/11/2016 21:47

Love the physics/accent flirting!
I've no idea how to describe my accent, part non-descript southern English, part North-west American, it's very odd.

Sorry about your Phd Polter, I'm sure you'll get one.

autisticrat · 24/11/2016 21:50

My god, she's cultured too
