Welcome one and all to the new thread. A safe haven for MNetters who identify as neurodiverse, diagnosis or not, and those waiting for assessment. Links available in recent threads. Newbies welcome. We just ask that you introduce yourself Smile

Good luck Flowers

Good luck Polter! Before the interview, find somewhere quiet and pose like Wonder Woman for 2 minutes. Trust me, it's a TED talk!

Good luck.

Good luck PG!!

I'm that person who puts notes on people's cars I'm afraid. I also love a good complaint via Twitter to any company for pretty much any tiny reason. I'm such a twat sometimes.

I'm going to keep trying with BVB - I think it's that the vocals don't look like they come out of him? And they're too high in the mix. He's got a chronic case of 'boy-face'... I used to have 2 lip piercings and a nose ring, plus a shaved bit on the side of my head about 10 years ago! Blush

I second Faith's Wonder Woman suggestion. I might try that today at our weekly team meeting.

Good luck Polter Flowers

Ted talk

My current crush is Greg from Crazy ex-girlfriend. Not the actor but the character...the actor seems nice enough but the character is sarcastic which is very sexy.

Oh, that's crap, Polter. Last minute travel plan changes are awful when you're already nervous. But it will be fine. And driving will surely stop you being able to obsess and worry on the way there as much because you'll have to focus on where you're going?

Anyway, good luck.

BigDamnHero · 22/11/2016 10:21

Cloud, it's funny you should mention the demonisation of parents of autistic kids by some autistic people because I came across it on Twitter yesterday and was considering mentioning it on her and/or writing a blog post about it (I see Polter's beaten me to it Grin).

I imagine a lot of us on this thread have been on both sides so can very much empathise with the parents who are trying their best and clearly love their kids but are struggling. I know I find DS1 really hard work. It's not his fault and I know he's also suffering but that doesn't change the fact I struggle with him (and with DS2 to a slightly lesser extent).

As in, I have my fingers crossed for you as well (realised it kind of sounded like I'm also there waiting, which would be creepy).

autisticrat · 22/11/2016 13:03

Your hands look so much younger than mine 😂

BigDamnHero · 22/11/2016 13:05

Really?? I thought the opposite! You also can't really tell from the photo how horribly and scaly/dry my hands are right now.

CrohnicallyPregnant · 22/11/2016 13:06

Had my first scan this morning- baby all fine, active and wriggly, so that bodes well for you too polter!

BigDamnHero · 22/11/2016 13:09

Aw, lovely news, Crohn. Smile
