Yet another thread for neurodivergent mumsnetters.

Lots of links in old threads.

Anyone is welcome, it's not just about autism.

(please ignore belly bulge; tucked shirt in to show my manly figure off)

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:02

My body is more manly than that and I always thought I was quite feminine. Took me a while to find a pic of me with my body in, because I hate my body! The snow one is January of this year, the other one woth dd is July of this year.

Your body looks nice!

autisticrat · 02/11/2016 16:08

Small children think I'm a man but that's fine, there's a stage they go through where short hair = man Grin

But grown adults should know better. Especially you, Mr UKIP representative standing outside the polling station at the last election, who called me sir.

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:08

I can show you a pic of my arse that dp took on Halloween if you like, then you'll erm those pics are just the camera being extremely kind! Grin

I don't think you look manly at all Confused

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:08

See not erm Confused

autisticrat · 02/11/2016 16:11

You have renewed my faith in human perception Grin

Your body is good. Nice boobs. Is it okay to say that?

autisticrat · 02/11/2016 16:13
HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:14

Yes it's OK to say that! I like my boobs. I'll be sad to see them go when I finally lose weight Grin
Here you go, I was picking DS2 up and DP thought it would be hilarious to snap a pic of my arse.

That's just foreshortening, that. Or is it rear-shortening? Grin

autisticrat · 02/11/2016 16:18

I hate my body, too - I'm slightly above the healthy weight category, but more importantly I have a lot of loose skin from weightloss; I can't go out unless I'm completely covered up, as everything sags :(

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:19

I'm obese! I weigh around 16 and a half stone. It doesn't seem to shift at all Sad

I hear you :( I'm just over 11 stone, but would prefer to be 9. I used to be 20 stone, though, so it's better than it was.

Polter is right; I wouldn't have put you at 16 stone.

HerRoyalFattyness · 02/11/2016 16:22

Just good pics polter
And rat You've done amazing to lose so much weight! Can I ask how you managed it?

I hate having my hair cut but also hate having long hair, hair in my face is horrible. My ideal is going to the barbers as they cut it how I like it, similar to rat (I can also spend hours stroking my own head!) but then that carries a different but equally weighty set of social stresses as going to the hairdressers. At the moment I go to a walk-in unisex place who are mostly quite good and I'm growing one side long enough to tuck behind an ear.

autisticrat · 02/11/2016 16:24

The pic of me above in the black coat is from the other day, when I was referred to as "that guy".

I'm still very Confused how you can be called a guy! I don't get it. How can people look at someone who is clearly a woman, with a woman's body and think "yep that's a man"
And we're meant to be the weird ones.

LauraMipsum · 02/11/2016 16:30

Because they're not looking at the body, they're looking at the set of social / cultural signifiers that we probably haven't even noticed!
