it still feels sort of slightly sticky on my neck/throat area. not sure i like that feeling. face tingling still but less than it was.

look about 10 years older today but i'm stressed atm.

ilovesprouts · 27/05/2010 21:27

made my skin soft too as i have dry skin

mustrunmore · 27/05/2010 21:29

No probs with my lid, but it does come out quicker than I expected!

Ingles2 · 27/05/2010 21:33

I think I'm having a reaction to this.. I've got really sensitive skin and have got red, itchy, spotty under the skin patches on my cheekbones. I'll give another day or 2 and see if it settles down..
Still stinks...dh and ds's have commented. ds1 thought I smelled like a granny!

Cicatrice · 27/05/2010 21:33

I got mine yesterday. No email.

Smells nice.

How long are you supposed to use it for before you can see a difference?

I am almost beginning to wonder if we have been sent diffrent products (on purpose) as mine is certainly not smellable now once on and settled in. Mine is such a subtle smell, DH even grabbed it to see and said it was nice and stuck it all over his face too.

FeelingOld · 27/05/2010 22:20

Mine only arrived this morning (well postie turns up here about 12 cos we are rural) so not tried it yet. Will give it a go in the morning and report back.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 27/05/2010 22:21

bamboo - that is very cute I guess for a 4-year-old younger does equal smaller!

maxy - that is bizarre. Mine really stinks, a lot.

Whoever said it smells like hair stuff was spot on. Not shampoo though, smells like serum, or gel, or some kind of after product. Slightly disconcerting to put it on your face.

I can't say how my face feels now compared to normal, because I don't normally have to put an SPF on. My t-zone is looking a bit shiny, which isn't normal but that could be the sunscreen more than the cream. I shall have to stay indoors like a hermit one day this weekend to test.

I thought the smell was very strong, it made me smell like my mum!

Put it on this morning and my skin feels quite greasy now, tbh I'm quite looking forward to washing off at bedtime...

Ingles2 · 27/05/2010 22:35

I agree Meg...I put this on mid morning and still feel like I have a greasy layer that needs washing off.

maxybrown · 27/05/2010 22:41

see - I think we have slightly different products!! I am very sensitive smells too - i do not like air fresheners, use simple moituriser normally, use ecover products around the home...........I don't even wear make up!! so you would think if mine was smelly I would notice it, hence me thinking we have diff products, hmmmmmmmmm. Wish we were all closer for a sniff (at the risk of that sounding slightly odd)

NorkyButNice · 27/05/2010 22:41

Are the greasy people putting too much on? I can do my whole face easily with less than one pump. I put some on half an hour ago and it's sunk it beautifully - no grease or shine at all.

I guess it depends how naturally oily ones skin is?

cyteen · 28/05/2010 06:05

My skin is very oily so most moisturisers are way too greasy for me, but this one left me feeling quite matte all day. A hazelnut blob was plenty to cover my face and neck, too - maybe too much does lead to greasiness.

Anyway, was my turn to get up at 5am with the boy so I'll be in need of every anti-aging effect it can muster today

DecorHate · 28/05/2010 07:13

Will be interesting to see how it makes me look today as I had a late night last night & might need some help!
Had no problems with tingling or smell yesterday, felt very matt as I applied it - had to use a second blob as it sank in very quickly before I had done my whole face.

JodieO · 28/05/2010 08:39

I love this, used it again this morning and it's fab, I'll definitely be buying another when this runs out. I'm finding I don't have to use too much and it covers well. My skin has been dry but this makes it so much nicer with not too much used. I'm really impressed with it. I love the smell too and it's nice and smooth going on.

I don't think the smell is too much at all, I think it smells very refreshing and just what I want first thing in the morning!

TheChewyToffeeMum · 28/05/2010 09:09

I'm finding my skin feels a bit tight with this - maybe it is meant to do this to pull the wrinkles taut!

ApplesinmyPocket · 28/05/2010 09:22

I love the smell and it makes my skin feel nice but I did experience a bit of skin irritation yesterday (but I have very sensitive, tneds-to-be-allergic skin and probably applied it a bit too enthusiastically - on my tough old forehead and neck it should be fine.)

I definitely think it makes me look younger but then I am an eternal optimist

cyteen · 28/05/2010 09:30

It does smell like shampoo. Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily, but there's a definite hair product vibe.

IlanaK · 28/05/2010 09:51

The top came off mine this morning when I used it. Very annoying. And I really hate the smell. Not noticing much difference in how my skin looks or feels from using E45.

Tortoise · 28/05/2010 09:54

I find the smell quite strong when on my hand but fine once rubbed in.
No greasiness. Rubs in very easily.

trice · 28/05/2010 10:22

I liked the smell and it felt nice and light to apply. But I only buy day cream with an spf to it in the summer.

PurplePillow · 28/05/2010 10:34

Day 2 of using mine and so far cannot see any difference but feels lovely on my skin

No problems here with taking top off and love the smell

expatinscotland · 28/05/2010 10:37

Day two here as well.

I like the smell.

Am hoping it doesn't break me out.

Oil of Olay usually breaks me out.

Skin looks okay - at 39 I have some sun damage (sun spots) and minor lines, particularly on my forehead and neck).

Feels nice going on, although I avoided my tzone.

Wish it has SPF15, though.
