agree needs SPF.

feels a little sticky initially, but leave a few minutes and it feels smooth, easy to put make up on..i have sensitive/spot prone skin and am prone to odd reactions too... but so far, so good.

smell is nice, not overwhelming.

and agree that the recommended hazel nut size blob is too much for the face, but you can do your face , neck and decollete (sp?) with that amount

NobleFrangipani · 30/05/2010 17:13

Top came off today, which was a PITA. Nice and light, and glad that smell is not too strong - was quite expecting it to smell like toothpaste. Am not wowed by it - it's just fine, mostly.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 30/05/2010 17:18

I've got chin spots

I've realised it smells like shampoo and I like my face creams to smell a bit more essential- oily

like the texture though

but ZERO REDUX in crumples

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 30/05/2010 19:01

have got a bit of a sore face, but DH said I was "glowy"

mustrunmore · 30/05/2010 19:20

It feels nice on. i've got 2 big spots (chin and side of nose), but thats got to be a coincidence, surely?

Horton · 30/05/2010 20:16

My skin still feels nice and smooth but no reduction in lines. I would have thought I would have to use it for longer to see a proper difference, though. I still don't like the dry powdery afterfeel (is that even a word? but I know what I mean) and agree with cyb that I'd prefer an essential oil kind of smell.

I think it would be a nice cream for summer use when I am more oily anyway, due to sweating etc, but would definitely not use it in the winter. It just wouldn't be moisturising enough when it's cold and blowy.

I'm quite surprised that it is so ungreasy, actually. I would have thought most women who wanted anti-ageing creams would be likely to be over 40 or approaching 40 and therefore more likely to have drier skin.

also originally not keen on smell, can't smell it now. skin appearance improved, but not in dewiness.

Ah well, 'If I liked it shoulda put more cream on it'

mustrunmore · 31/05/2010 09:35

Bsed on the other comments I'm reading on here, I'm getting more and more convinced that I've been sent a placebo I just dont have that much to say about it; its ok. Not smelly, not greasy, not a miracle, just kind of 'there'.

JasonIsaacsIsRatherGorgeous · 31/05/2010 15:02

I've been using this for about four days now. I usually use Olay's Regenerist.

I don't mind the smell, my skin seems to absorb the cream really, really quickly and while my skin feels soft and smooth all day, it still feels like it's a bit tight and dry. With the Regenerist my skin feels plumped up and healthy and I don't get that feeling with this other cream.

I've had a friend staying with me this weekend and we've been chatting about skin care products and I think it's quite telling that I recommended the Regenerist moisturiser to her rather than this one. When this runs out I think I'll probably go back to the Regenerist, although it's probably still early days and maybe next week I'll be line free and gorgeous looking.

expatinscotland · 31/05/2010 15:03

It's been grand on my forehead and neck and around my eyes.

Unfortunately, like everything else, it has broken me out in spots on my cheeks and around my mouth/chin.

Libra · 31/05/2010 15:19

Yes, I have spots too on chin and around nose (maybe that is the youthfulness factor - taking me back to adolescence?)

It is very light, which I like, but I agree that I would probably want something heavier for the wind in the winter.

mustrunmore · 31/05/2010 16:15

Dh been using it too. He likes it and is spot free, but he still looks wrinkly

cornsilkcottagecheese · 31/05/2010 16:17

I quite like it so far but today I put serum on first without thinking and it didn't go on as well over the top, went all bitty.

NoahAndTheWhale · 31/05/2010 16:20

I don't seem to have any spots which is good. And DD says it smells very nice which is also good. Not sure about any affect on wrinkle though.

cyteen · 31/05/2010 19:06

I have less spots, and mysteriously appear to look a little firmer-faced.

southeastastra · 31/05/2010 19:08

i have a spot brewing on my chin too, though may be pms related

cocolepew · 31/05/2010 20:10

No spots and DH said I looked nice today (though he may be looking for a shag)

Goes on nice and I can put my foundation on straight away. I'm using an Avon one atm and it tends to 'pill' around my nose and chin, but it's going on much smoother with the Olay.

thecatatemygymsuit · 31/05/2010 20:16

No zittage here but although skin is smooth, it is also dryer than usual. I'm actually using my everyday moisturiser on top, so maybe counter-productive? (Estee Lauder daywear plus cream if anyone's interested - it is fabulous!)

feedthegoat · 31/05/2010 23:45

I very rarely get spots but I woke up with quite a few on my nose this morning. My period has just finished though so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now even though I don't usually get them.

sowhatis · 31/05/2010 23:45

got mine too!

sowhatis · 01/06/2010 00:01

i have a few spots coming now too, dont normally get any.............

cornsilkcottagecheese · 01/06/2010 13:35

I'm quite impressed with it - my forehead is definitely smoother.

expatinscotland · 01/06/2010 13:36

it is really making a difference on my forehead and around eyes and on my neck.

skin noticeably firmer.

but spots all over my cheeks so can't use it there.
