Testers wanted for Burger King

We've been asked by Burger King to find ten mums with children between the ages of 4 and 11 to spend the day at its test kitchen (near Hayes and Harlington, London) to try its new kids? menu and to find out more about developments in this area. Volunteers will need to attend between 11am and 2pm.

You?ll also be able to take part in an informal discussion with David Kisilevsky, vice-president of marketing for Burger King EMEA, and Mark Dowding, Burger King chef and director of new product development and innovation, about the kids? meal and ask any questions you may have.

They want a mix of folks who would pop into Burger King and those who normally wouldn't. All they're asking for is feedback from you on the day. On this occasion, Burger King only want mums to attend, sorry but no children.

Everyone who attends will obviously get travel expenses, but will also receive £50 of Amazon vouchers.

If you'd like to volunteer, please fill in the mini survey.

Thanks,

MNHQ

morningpaper · 27/08/2008 15:27

WilfSell · 27/08/2008 16:13

rofl.

The feedback on this from MN has been so, er, restrained thus far.

I would.

I much prefer BK to McD. Sometimes when all three babies (of varied ages) are screaming with hunger and Useless Mummy has popped out without a granola sandwich in handmade spelt loaf with home-grown radicchio on the side, there's nothing like a drive-through.

We can manage to limit ourselves to only one mechanically recovered meat fest per month max though.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 27/08/2008 16:25

Really thought this was a joke, am off to post it in Quichette Quiche and see how many points I get.

moondog · 27/08/2008 16:50

Oh, count me in!!!
I'm sure they will appreciate my feedback.

WilfSell · 27/08/2008 16:52

CountessDracula · 27/08/2008 17:50

oh yes good idea
me too

DontNeedAnything · 27/08/2008 17:56

I love BK...but sadly I am too far away to spare the time (would me a minimum of 8hr round trip)....

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 27/08/2008 17:58

Cannot be bothered to go all that way for the sake of a burger!
We dont eat at BK, DH doesnt like the food, and I think MD has a slightly better kids meal selection (fruit, water, nuggets rather than chips coke nugget etc)
However, the best place to eat is KFC... get something going there & I will be falling over my own two feet to sign up! (Not good kids meal, but willing to overlook )

CountessDracula · 27/08/2008 18:14

i have entered
I bet they only want yes men (or women) though

CashmereKate · 27/08/2008 18:16

Bleurgh.

You would need to pay me a million pounds to eat that shit.

FrannyandZooey · 27/08/2008 18:16

oh man I would do this
quinoa burger anyone?
