We recently recruited 10 MNers & MN blog/vloggers to help create two new mattresses at the Dreams Bed Factory for sleep deprived parents and parents to be. They will be testing out the two mattresses they made for a month and will leave feedback on this thread of their first impressions and final verdict. Read below to see what they thought of them!

Non-testers, in order to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice, please answer the following question - if your bed could do anything in the world, what would it be? Whether it’s simply being able to make itself after use or more adventurous like serve you freshly brewed tea every morning, we’d love you to let your imagination run wild and think of what you wish your bed could do.

I would want my bed to give me a full body massage. And tickle my feet

I would like my bed to be like the bed in bedknobs and broomsticks, and carry me away to fabulous places! I wouldn't mind if it washed its own sheets too!

Would love for my mattress to have a heat regulating function! Especially in this heat!

A bed that could read my mind - know when I’m feeling cold and heat up, know when I want to snuggle up and fluff up the duvet, keep it cool when it’s hot etc and when I’m not in the bed, then behave like a normal, freshly made, clean bed

I want a mattress with different scents : I once read that the Bronte sisters echoes dries their bedsheets on different herbs/ plants in the garden and had their own signature scent like lavender. I would love to switch between thyme, lemon balm, lavender etc especially on summer days... Yum....

Non-tester- I wish my bed could spray lavender and lemon scent, whilst gently massaging my back and tone my abs at the same time lol

I would like my bed to have an automatic temperature control for each side. DH is always cold and I am always hot so it would be nice for the mattress to keep us at the right temperature to avoid the constant shuffling of the duvet all night .

I'd love it if my bed could take me to America or France to visit my sisters - i miss them so much and that would be so lovely - go to sleep in the UK and wake up in time for a cuppa there! if the bed could make the cuppa too that would be even better!

In my dream world my bed would adjust its temperature according to the room temp. In winter it would be warm and snuggly, in summer it would be cool and fresh.

Non-tester, I want a bed that changes its own sheets and will gently roll my DH over when he's snoring. Before I get to bed, preferably.

Non tester - I'd like my bed to be able to block out the world - no noise, light, sudden memories of things I ought to have done, niggling worries about what's happening tomorrow. With all that gone, I'd actually get a good night's sleep! (Oh, and if it could increase my bladder capacity so I didn't wake in the night needing to pee that would be even better!)

None tester - my completely boring one would be that it could change the bottom sheets/duvet cover and pillow cases themselves. I hate that job with a passion, so me leaving the bed to it is my idea quite frankly of heaven.

In a none boring way, it should definitely have a feature that any of my celeb crushes (which change with ridiculous regularity) are transported in for lovely hugs and whatever else may occur (before said bed then changes to fresh sheets the next day!). The bed will be so amazing and comfortable that my crush (currently back on Jason Statham) will blatantly fall in love with me and we'll live happily ever after. 😂😂

I'd like my bed to have an inbuilt TV (appreciate these already exist). Also inbuild would be: WIKI USP port and touchscreen monitor with APPLE software - like an iPad with all my apps and speaker system for music.

If there was a wish...
How I wish that my bed could be my alarm clock slowly jiggling me awake from my sleep and letting me not be lazy.
How I wish that my bed could cuddle me up in sleep making sure that my body is at right temperature keeping me warm on cold nights and cold on hot summer.

How I wish that my bed would rock me back to sleep on a tired night slightly massaging my body pain.
How I wish that my bed is dustfree shaking itself clean everyday and keeps me stress free.
And finally,
How I wish that the above all come under a price that is affordable for a comman man to invest in.
