Definitely. It was very effective and being non-bio it didn't cause any problems for my dd who has sensitive skin.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Baby poo, weaning stains, toddler food stains, including bolognese. Everything came out first wash except dried on baby poo which came out second wash.
  • What did you like most about the product?
Ready mixed and that it's non bio, and it gets stains out! My baby has eczema which gets aggravated by bio detergent so usually I have to double wash anything that needs stain removal, so it's great to try a non bio version. It's a shame we didn't have a little longer to test as He's broken out in eczema today but I'm pretty sure that's because DH used a different shampoo the last couple of days and I didn't realise.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes, it removed stains that I've struggled to get out in the past. Very easy to use.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
Much easier to use
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
No, I've used the powder before which works but I prefer the liquid.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Baby poo, weaning stains (tomato red and orange marks) mainly.

  • What did you like most about the product?

Easy to use, smells nice.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

If it came up in conversation yes I probably would.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I usually soak stain in neat non bio gel detergent prior to washing, which can be done here. I like how it can be added easily to wash, although I was bit worried about amount used but it worked fine.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

First time user, and I would buy again.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
No, I already use various types of Vanish

I know the bottle was not the final version but I wanted to say that the dosing cap cracked the first time I removed it from the bottle

MundayCakes85 · 26/01/2018 09:27

What type of stains- food stains on clothes and bins. More stubborn stains previously washed I tried to pre soak. This worked very well. Bins came out as new. Also removed nursery stains such as finger paints and mud.
What did you like most- easy to follow instructions and a handy capsule for use in the washing machine. Smelt really clean without smelling chemically. Baby is quite sensitive to clothes smelling strongly.
Would you recommend this product- Yes. Well known brand with good results. Very easy to use.
How did Vanish impact stain removal compared to previous products- I have often used the Vanish range. Liquid stain removers far easier to use than powder ones. This product was very efficient.
Is this your first time using Vanish products- No. I have often bought their range of washing products as I have found they work really well on the children’s clothes. Will definitely use this again. We use non-bio as it’s gentler on their more sensitive skin.

ScribbleWibble · 26/01/2018 09:30
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Tomato pasta sauce, general toddler grime, wee, paint.

  • What did you like most about the product?

The smell, it was lovely and fresh.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, it did a really good job on all stains, including some historic ones that I had given up hope of ever shifting. There haven't been any signs of irritation to my son's sensitive skin.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I usually leave stuff to soak, but instead just either slung some in the wash or with more stubborn stains pre-treated for 10 minutes. Much quicker.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

No, I have used the power before. I will continue to use their products and will probably buy the bio gel for stubborn stains over the powder as I have seen better results. I am actually impressed!

scrivette · 26/01/2018 09:47
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Mud, curry, baby poo, ground in dirt.

  • What did you like most about the product?

That it worked! Also liked it was non biological so I could use it in the wash for my newborns clothes.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, it removed the stains and seemed to make the clothes brighter.
I used it on my 2 year olds white gloves that were absolutely filthy despite being washed previously and it removed most of the stains to an acceptable level so they don't have to be thrown away. I didn't pre treat them either.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Makes washing quicker and easier as I didn't Lee treat the stains or spend ages scrubbing baby poo covered clothes before washing.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

I have used Vanish before and would probably buy this in the future if it were on special offer. Due to the price I wouldn't use it for every wash, just for washing stained or very grubby items.

AccrualIntentions · 26/01/2018 11:04
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Sick and poo stains on baby clothes.

  • What did you like most about the product?

It was multipurpose - so could be used as a spot treatment or for soaking really bad stains as well as general stain remover in the main wash.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, it was effective at removing stains from the baby clothes without having to soak them for a long time.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Less pre-soaking, just stuck dirty items into the wash with Vanish.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

I have used Vanish before for their stain spot reduction products, and would continue to purchase them.

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Felt tip on white tights and (washed in) cooking juice stains? On a pot rest. The felt tip stains were fresh, the cooking juice stains on the pot rest had already been through the machine a couple of times since Christmas but i thought i'd give it a go anyway in the interests of science. Will update this thread if my children (4 and 2) stain anything else before the end of the week but i'm obviously reluctant to encourage them to stain to order!

  • What did you like most about the product?

It was fairly easy to use, you get a lot of product in the bottle.
Also it's non bio, i'm expecting a new baby in a couple of months and will be switching all my laundry products back over to non bio when he arrives, it's good to get a stain remover product which is non bio too. Just in time for all that newborn poo!

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes i would, just because i haven't noticed a non bio stain remover before and it did a fine job on the tights. (the pot rest was sadly beyond redemption)

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

It was fairly quick and easy, i pre treated the area with vanish then stuck an extra capful in with the wash.
Normally i would soak in cold salt water with oxy powder so this cut out time spent in the kitchen sink. Timed saved on laundry is always appreciated in this house!

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

I've used the powder before but not liquid. Yes i would use their products again. Attaching photos of the tights before and after, along with the pot rest which sadly even vanish could not save.

Orange toddler food stains, ketchup and mud

Easy to apply, clear instructions. Worked well.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes it worked well on tough stains.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
Made the process shorter
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
No I like the stain bar and spray which I use already.
BringBiscuits · 26/01/2018 11:56
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Baby poo, dried baby food puree, mud (my eldest runs cross country in white PE kit!)... all sorts!

  • What did you like most about the product?

It smells lovely. Can be used as a soak, prewash treatment or in the machine. Easy to use.

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

It works! The baby poo had dried on and yet soaking in vanish for an hour and the baby pants are as good as new, same with PE kit. This is very easy to use and gets good results.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I think it is better. Previously I used a bar of stain remover (like a soap) which I didn't think did much or I used a powder. I was never sure of the quantities to use, or whether it made much difference.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

No - I have used Vanish powder before. The liquid is more convenient though and smells nice too. I would recommend this product and would certainly buy it myself.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Baby food, jam, mud
  • What did you like most about the product?
It was easy to use and worked very well even without pre-treating the stains.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes because it was so effective.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
It made me more confident that I could just throw everything in the machine and the stains would come out.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I've used the tubs of Vanish powder before but not a liquid product. The liquid definitely worked better and was less messy. 100ml seemed like a lot to use each time though so I think it might prove expensive. Maybe worth it though as it really works.
BooRooandTiggerToo · 26/01/2018 13:56
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Dirty nappy stains, baked beans juice, and mud
  • What did you like most about the product?
Smelt really fresh (rather than the chemical/detergent smell I expected) and was easy to use
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
I'd recommend this to anyone whether they have children who seem to attract stains or just something to have in the cupboard for those summer grass stains, biking accidents etc.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
I'm normally a throw it in and hope for the best, which usually results in a second or third wash before the stain has been removed. Adding Vanish to my routine has meant that I'm no longer scanning items as they come out of the wash to see if they are still stained
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
This is the first time I'd used anything like this so would be keen to see what else they have in the range.
