What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Baby poo, and food "dropped" on the baby as I attempted to breastfeed baby and eat my dinner at the same time - the most "challenging" stain was curry, I wouldn't wait to see if the vanish would get rid of it!

  • What did you like most about the product?

Easy to use, I liked the textured lid to scrub on the product, it felt like I was really working on the stain

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, it's easy to use and worked well. I trust vanish as a brand too, my mum has always used it

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Worked every time so meant I no longer worried about removing stains and how to do it as I knew this product would get it done. This is compared to before when I only treated minor stains now and again as I couldn't be bothered because I couldn't be sure if the stains would actually go or not

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

I have bought vanish before and liked it, but I love that this is a bigger version of the vanish stain removal I used to use. I will definitely repurchase and would be interested in their other products too.

DontFundHate · 24/01/2018 17:07

I forgot to say - the vanish removed the curry stain! So yes I would definitely use the product again and would recommend it

MoNigheanDonn · 24/01/2018 17:15

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

We had a poo explosion and just your general grass and spag bol stains

What did you like most about the product?

It was easy to use and I liked the smell

Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

I probably would if it came up in conversation

Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

Quite a bit as I didn't use a stain removal beforehand. I did notice a difference so would be likely to use again

Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

Yes, price dependant I would seriously consider it.

joleyn · 24/01/2018 17:59

I useful to treat a variety of food stains including Orange and also colouring pen and paint stains on a white t shirt.
I liked most that it was easy to use and worked well at low temperatures.
I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as it was easy to use and lots of us have young children.
It was more effective than what I did previously. It was also easy to use.
I have used a number of vanish products previously and will continue to use them.

  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Food, mud, poo stains
  • What did you like most about the product?
It smelled really nice. Also not too runny, so you could apply it directly to the stain without it just running everywhere.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes. It was very effective at removing most stains on the first wash and significantly reducing more stubborn ones in one wash and often removing them in 2. I like the fact it's non-bio too.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
I wouldn't normally put the stain remover directly into the drum of the washing machine, just pre-treat. This saved a lot of that faff!
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
No, we have used the soap and the oxyaction whites powder, so I would continue to buy their products.
Cintacmrs · 24/01/2018 18:50

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Paint and Poo - DD is really into stone painting but at 3 everything gets covered in paint.

  • What did you like most about the product?
Works really well and comes with dosage top
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes as I have a few new mums and poo ruined white baby grows. A good stain remover is a godsend
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
I used the powder it was harder to measure it out.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
not my first time but i do like the liquid more
NewMama12 · 24/01/2018 18:58
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Mainly food stains - orange coloured purees! I have a 7mo DD and am currently weaning.
  • What did you like most about the product?
It smells lovely and fresh.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
For the really tough stains I didn’t find it to work, but it did get out fresh ones. I’d recommend it for day to day laundry but not for really tough, worn-in stains.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? I tried soaking - hadn’t done that before. Usually I just bing everything in the machine on a hotter wash with some powder.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
It’s not my first time using vanish, and it’s made me no more or less likely to use them in future.
soundsystem · 24/01/2018 19:57
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Poo, vomit, food. My children helpfully came down with D&V just as this arrived, so I got plenty of opportunity to test it out!
  • What did you like most about the product? Easy to use, and it worked!
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? Yep, it did the job with minimum fuss, which was great.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? It made things much easier - less soaking/scrubbing!
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

It's my first time, and I'd definitely consider buying it again.

LyndaLaHughes · 24/01/2018 20:08

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Toddler poo, bin stains and general stains on white clothing.
- What did you like most about the product? I liked the smell of the product, and I found it easier to use and less messy in the machine than the powder I normally use. I also found it to be very effective.
- Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? I’d recommend this for parents with kids wearing white shirts to school as it helps to restore them to cleanliness. In addition it was effective on food stains on bibs and dealt with some poo accident stains from my newly toilet trained toddler. I think it is a good product for younger children too as seems less harsh than other stain removers which I was more reluctant to use when my children were at an earlier age.
- Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? I always use the powder vanish but I prefer this product and will be using it again. I found it more effective, less messy to use and it also has a nicer smell.
- Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products? No I use the powder and the spray. I will certainly be adding this to my collection.

MotherOfCats · 24/01/2018 20:35

Yes, if the price was right
Miniangel · 24/01/2018 20:56
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Oil and poo
  • What did you like most about the product?
The smell and the consistency. It is just the right consistency being gel as the really liquid ones are harder to use.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yes, will definitely recommend.

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
Yes, was easier to use
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I have always used Vanish products and just love them for their stain removal properties.
wonkylegs · 24/01/2018 20:59
  • What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Pasta tomato sauce, egg, mud, baked beans, felt tip & unknown (the joys of small kids)
  • What did you like most about the product?
it worked
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? Yes because it worked
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? It did a better job than my other stain remover and i only needed 1 product for lots of different stains, didn't like the packaging though as the wide mouthed bottle was easy to spill too much and get it on your hands which isn't nice as its a bit caustic as the skin reaction i got attested to - it does say to keep off your hands but the packaging doesn't make this easy and could be improved.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I've used them before but would consider adding this to my laundry cupboard
theAntsareMyFriends · 24/01/2018 21:54

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Mostly chewed and smeared food. Beetroot, avocado and butternut squash stains. Also stains on knees and bottom after playing in a sandpit and in puddles.

  • What did you like most about the product?
It was thick so was easy to put on the stains without it running all over the place. The lid was useful for rubbing it in. It smelled nice too.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes. It worked well.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
I don't normally use a stin remover and have just resigned myself to grubby looking children or buying new clothes so this was a bit different to my usual routine although it worked well so I plan on putting some on cuffs, necklines and knees and also on stains every time I wash clothes.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I've used vanish in a spray bottle before on the occasional stain on my clothes and this trial has made me realise it would really improve the way my children's clothes look and how long they last for so will buy more when I run out.
Grandadwasthatyou · 24/01/2018 22:07

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Pasta sauce, gravy, tomato ketchup

  • What did you like most about the product?
That it could be used in 3 different ways and not so runny.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
I think so because a good stain remover is something all parents are constantly on the look out for.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
Not much difference
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
No. Usually use the oxy powder.
43percentburnt · 24/01/2018 22:30

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove? Food stains such as tomato, strawberry, gravy. School uniform grime! Mud.

  • What did you like most about the product? I liked the smell. I also like the fact it is a liquid. We often used the tubs of vanish but I worry it’s harsh on clothes because you are rubbing in the abrasive watery powder! This seemed to be gentler and premixed for convenience.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why? Yes. Convenient to use.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? It worked just as well as the tubs of vanish.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products? Not applicable as have used vanish previously.
Sleepysausage · 24/01/2018 23:53

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Bolagnase type sauce, other foods, paint on nursery clothes, mud, general mystery toddler muck.

  • What did you like most about the product?
It smells fresh. It was very easy to use, didn't add much extra time to doing the laundry. But most of all it worked!! It was very reliable.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Would definitely recommend to family and friends, in fact I have already recommended it to a few other toddler parents.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
It doesn't need scrubbing and I feel confident that I can pop a bit on a stain and put it in the machine knowing the stain will be felt with during the wash
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I have used the Vanish bar in the past and use the whitening powder on our bedding. I would certainly buy the liquid in the future to deal with stain removal.
MotherofaSurvivor · 24/01/2018 23:58

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?

Toddler food & accidents!

  • What did you like most about the product?

The thicker consistency

  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?

Yep! Absolutely!!!!

  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?

I used to use standard Vanish liquid which was the consistency of water which meant you couldn't really rub it in and work the stain out. Also meant you used more and it ran out quicker.

  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?

No and Yes!

northdownmummy · 25/01/2018 07:46

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Food stains, mud and grass strains
What did you like most about the product?7
I liked the smell and the consistency of it was good for getting right into the stains.
Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? If so why?
Yes I would as it got out most of the stains I tried it on first time.
Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal?
It was quicker as I didn’t have to wet the stains first before putting the vanish on it.
Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products?
I have used vanish before and would continue to use them. I do only buy them on offer though as I think they are a bit expensive full price.
Thank you for letting me test this product.

MumofthreeandBean · 25/01/2018 08:37

I used it on weaning poo, food stains and mildew on my shower curtain.
It got rid of most food stains, it didn’t fully get rid of weaning poo on bed wear - I tried spit cleaning and then putting it in the wash.
The shower curtain came up a lot cleaner, I didn’t expect it all to come out but it’s better than I expected.

It’s very easy to use, all the instructions on the bottle is a good idea

I would probably recommend to my mum who is always having spillages.

It’s easy to use, I didn’t need to soak anything for hours.

I have always had a vanish soap to hand which I use for most things.
I would probably buy this vanish but it is pretty expensive if you use 100ml in every stained wash.

FlyingFordAnglia · 25/01/2018 08:49

What were some of the types of stains you used this product to remove?
Poo (!), tomato pasta sauce on white vest, mud ingrained in white footy socks and my white bedding which lovely DS2 had got my bronzer on. All stains came out and my bedding looked brand new - came out really white and it did look tired before.

  • What did you like most about the product?
Nice smell, and good consistency- felt thick enough to rub in without soaking into fabric without a trace.
  • Would you recommend the product to a friend and/or family member? Yes If so why? Good product, non bio so gentle enough to use on everyone’s clothes but it still works well.
  • Compared to what you did before, how did using Vanish impact your stain removal? Very easy, I put it direct in the machine drum. I’d normally have to pre soak but I didn’t bother this time.
  • Is this your first time using Vanish? If so would you now consider buying more of their products? No, I’ve used the powder but with DS2 having sensitive skin, I’m cautious of what I use now. I would definitely buy this.
Treadlightly · 25/01/2018 10:27
