We’re looking for 15 Mumsnetters to try out two of AEG’s washing machines and one of their tumble dryers!

Here’s what AEG has to say about each of the products:

“PRO STEAM WASHING MACHINE
Introducing the sharp shirt protector: Maintaining your professional look day to day should be effortless. Our ProSteam® Technology means that your shirts look sharp for longer by enabling you to reduce creases by up to one third. Cutting down on dry-cleaning and ironing means less wear on fibres. Keeping your clothes looking and feeling impeccable, every day.

SOFT WATER WASHING MACHINE
It’s the little black dress guardian: Imagine a washing machine that you can trust to keep your colours as vibrant and blacks as bold as the day you bought them. At last, there is no need to compromise performance for care. Because for the first time ever, you’ll achieve the thorough clean of a 60-degree wash at just 30 degrees. Maintaining the colour, shape and feel of every garment. Wash after wash. It’s more than a washing machine. It’s the guardian of your clothes.

ABSOLUTECARE TUMBLE DRYER
It’s the wool sweater guardian: Now you can tumble dry everything you wash. From the softest wool sweater to an everyday business shirt or ski jacket. Dryers with the AbsoluteCare® System have tailored programming to precisely control the movement and temperature of the drying cycle. Preventing shrinkage. Maintaining shape. Restoring waterproofing. Redefining tumble drying for every fabric in your wardrobe. Comparable with flat drying of wool.”

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here

Everyone who takes part and who shares feedback and fills in a short survey as required will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Done, there are six of us including a sticky 20 month old, and washing is forever trying to dry. We'd love to try the tumble dryer.

pauline046 · 06/10/2017 21:06

Would be fantastic to test the tumble-dryer

deste · 06/10/2017 22:37

My DD got the keys to a house today and has neither. This would be great for her.

Hatethinkingofusernames82 · 07/10/2017 06:34

Done. I always said we didn't need a tumble drier and we could manage without it! But now we are heading into another winter with 2 children I'm thinking this could be life changing!!!!

Afreshstartplease · 07/10/2017 06:37

As a family of six we constantly have washer and dryer going! Current washer has seen better days and dryer seems to be taking longer and longer

haveacupoftea · 07/10/2017 10:12

I hope I get to try this. My old Beko died a sad death the other day Confused

SparklyMagpie · 07/10/2017 12:01

Done! Oh goodness what a difference it would make if I was selected to try one of these fab sounding machines!

Would certainly be a bonus as looks like mines about to pack in haha

Waspyhell · 07/10/2017 18:14

Would love to test the tumbler drier- ours is on its last legs and we use it all the time- messy toddler and ever-sophisticated 10 year old.

Clarabell100 · 07/10/2017 20:52

Would love the tumble dryer! We do have a very old one and we use it loads for our nine month olds clothes (live in Scotland so drying outside is a rarity!) but it is so bad for shrinking things so this sounds like my dream dryer!!

newbieho · 07/10/2017 21:16

Done 😍

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 07/10/2017 22:51

Wow a tumble drier would answer my prayers with the colder weather coming in and dc still wetting the bed!

KitNCaboodle · 07/10/2017 23:36

I've never had a tumble dryer and would love one, so my living room doesn't look like a laundry 24/7

mommathatwearspink · 07/10/2017 23:36

Survey completed! We'd love to try either of the washing machines out! With two children and DP who has a manual job, the washing machine is always on!

clutteringfunt · 08/10/2017 00:08

Survey complete. Fingers crossed !

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 08/10/2017 00:45

Done. Thanks for the chance. Our tumble dryer has just died!

muminthecity · 08/10/2017 01:09

Done. Would love a new washer, mine is on its last legs.

Jellylorum · 08/10/2017 09:23

I just wrote a post asking for a tumble dryer recommendation as I have three children and no tumble dryer at the moment, so would love to try the tumble dryer Smile

Breadbaker · 08/10/2017 09:35

Would love to be selected! I'm finding it hard to keep up with the washing with a nearly 5 month old!

Semiskimmed · 08/10/2017 10:53

Yes please. Mine has broke and I'm spending all my money in the launderette

DungballInADress · 08/10/2017 19:00

Oh me me me please. I would LOVE washing machine.

I work full time and DH works long hours, often away from home. Between 2 children, uniforms, work clothes and sports kits, I struggle to find the time to wash clothes let alone iron them. I'll often turn up to work feeling scruffy cause my clothes are never ironed. I also have no space for a tumble dryer in our very tiny kitchen so anything that would decrease the crease would be incredible. We also live in a very hard water area and I have to wash things at higher temperatures or with more detergent which is not great when I am trying to reduce our energy bills.

Also, our washing machine is on its last legs. No pressure Mumsnet..

cait2695 · 08/10/2017 20:32

done! fingers are crossed xx

Jennie1978 · 08/10/2017 22:13

Fingers crossed we'll be picked.

hayz1912 · 09/10/2017 10:50

Oooh me pleeeaaaassse!!! My washer hardly even washes anymore, half the clothes are coming out unwashed and dry after a full cycle. Fingers crossed I will be gifted a new one by the AEG fairies 👍🏻🤞🏻
