We’re looking for 15 Mumsnetters to try out two of AEG’s washing machines and one of their tumble dryers!

Here’s what AEG has to say about each of the products:

“PRO STEAM WASHING MACHINE
Introducing the sharp shirt protector: Maintaining your professional look day to day should be effortless. Our ProSteam® Technology means that your shirts look sharp for longer by enabling you to reduce creases by up to one third. Cutting down on dry-cleaning and ironing means less wear on fibres. Keeping your clothes looking and feeling impeccable, every day.

SOFT WATER WASHING MACHINE
It’s the little black dress guardian: Imagine a washing machine that you can trust to keep your colours as vibrant and blacks as bold as the day you bought them. At last, there is no need to compromise performance for care. Because for the first time ever, you’ll achieve the thorough clean of a 60-degree wash at just 30 degrees. Maintaining the colour, shape and feel of every garment. Wash after wash. It’s more than a washing machine. It’s the guardian of your clothes.

ABSOLUTECARE TUMBLE DRYER
It’s the wool sweater guardian: Now you can tumble dry everything you wash. From the softest wool sweater to an everyday business shirt or ski jacket. Dryers with the AbsoluteCare® System have tailored programming to precisely control the movement and temperature of the drying cycle. Preventing shrinkage. Maintaining shape. Restoring waterproofing. Redefining tumble drying for every fabric in your wardrobe. Comparable with flat drying of wool.”

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here

Everyone who takes part and who shares feedback and fills in a short survey as required will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I would love to try a washing machine. We are a family of five, three very 'creative' children means the washing machine is used every day. It has to cope with everything from work shirts to muddy football socks. Our current machine is on its last legs and I'm sure the crunching noise and weird metallic smell isn't a good sign.

Tiredbuthappy1970 · 03/10/2017 19:23

Was worried it might not be a condenser tumble dryer but it is so I'm in. Only ever used one on holiday and would love to not have 2 airers constantly on the go in winter. I have the perfect tumble dryer shaped space for it. Fingers crossed.

Lofari · 03/10/2017 19:56

Done. This would be so perfect . Fingers crossed!

MrsG841 · 03/10/2017 20:18

Done

Would absolutely love to try these products out Smile

fatfingeredfran · 03/10/2017 20:27

My dryer is on constantly because I have a newborn! My current dryer has seen better days so would love to try a new one.

BellaVida · 03/10/2017 22:18

My old tumble dryer is on its last legs- makes a horrendously loud whirring noise which can even be heard through 3 closed doors!!! It's clearly on its last legs.

Drives us all insane, especially if I have to dry stuff late at night. I would be over the moon to try a new one.

Grandma14 · 03/10/2017 22:22

Washing machine is refusing to spin since yesterday.....and it's toilet training time!

AngelicCurls · 03/10/2017 22:26

Done. Our drier broke last winter, have got away with line drying over the summer but that won't last much longer so would love this

BankWadger · 03/10/2017 22:35

I've been looking at driers as I'm not looking forward to another Winter waiting 3 days to get a load of clothes dry, so this would be amazing.

aristocat · 03/10/2017 22:42

Ninjakittysmells · 03/10/2017 22:43

God this is the dream competition - as a single parent with my washing machine about to die and my tumble dryer having already given up the ghost, any of these to trial would be amazing!

usernamewastooobv · 03/10/2017 22:48

I would really love to test the tumble dryer. Have had a second hand one that has recently broken and I am lost without it!

Fanjango · 03/10/2017 22:49

Done. Really need a new machine and anything that keeps clothes newer longer a massive bonus.

drinkyourmilk · 03/10/2017 23:08

Done.
We've a small baby in cloth nappies so the soft water machine would be amazing- they need washing at a high temperature, yet manufacturers often recommend washing at 30 or 40. Madness!

icclemunchy · 03/10/2017 23:55

The pro washing machine sounds amazing. I’m disabled and anything that cuts down on Work and keeps things looking great with less effort is a godsend!

yumyumpizza · 03/10/2017 23:55

Done, woop!

YoumeandlittleP · 04/10/2017 07:00

Yes please. We are in desperate need of a new washing machine and tumble dryer so would be happy to test any of the products. We have a small baby and are very conscious of how we wash/dry her clothes and my husband has to wear a particular uniform that must look clean and sharp all of the time.

JParkson · 04/10/2017 08:05

I have a couple of potentially daft questions/presumptions...

A. I'm presuming we don't get to keep the machine
B. I live in a very hard water area - does this mean I couldn't test the soft water washing machine? It's the only one which appeals to me.

Thank you!

campocaro · 04/10/2017 08:05

I would sooo appreciate a tumble drier to survive the wet winter in the north-east of England

lunar1 · 04/10/2017 08:08

I applied, it didn’t ask many questions though. You normally want more for a product test application.

TinyTear · 04/10/2017 08:31

Have applied but I was hoping for questions regarding where can you put it, as i live in a flat and have an integrated washing machine, so hoping it would fit if i get it

InMySpareTime · 04/10/2017 08:36

Applied, this is a great product test!

Cookiecake · 04/10/2017 09:40

I would love to test the tumble dryer, ours must be around 20 years old!

CryHavoc · 04/10/2017 09:48

Done. Crossing fingers for the tumble dryer.

WelshMumof1 · 04/10/2017 10:05

This is my 5th winter without a tumble dryer, and as for the washing machine anything that cuts down on the ironing at all would be a big winner in my book!
