We’re looking for 15 Mumsnetters to try out two of AEG’s washing machines and one of their tumble dryers!

Here’s what AEG has to say about each of the products:

“PRO STEAM WASHING MACHINE
Introducing the sharp shirt protector: Maintaining your professional look day to day should be effortless. Our ProSteam® Technology means that your shirts look sharp for longer by enabling you to reduce creases by up to one third. Cutting down on dry-cleaning and ironing means less wear on fibres. Keeping your clothes looking and feeling impeccable, every day.

SOFT WATER WASHING MACHINE
It’s the little black dress guardian: Imagine a washing machine that you can trust to keep your colours as vibrant and blacks as bold as the day you bought them. At last, there is no need to compromise performance for care. Because for the first time ever, you’ll achieve the thorough clean of a 60-degree wash at just 30 degrees. Maintaining the colour, shape and feel of every garment. Wash after wash. It’s more than a washing machine. It’s the guardian of your clothes.

ABSOLUTECARE TUMBLE DRYER
It’s the wool sweater guardian: Now you can tumble dry everything you wash. From the softest wool sweater to an everyday business shirt or ski jacket. Dryers with the AbsoluteCare® System have tailored programming to precisely control the movement and temperature of the drying cycle. Preventing shrinkage. Maintaining shape. Restoring waterproofing. Redefining tumble drying for every fabric in your wardrobe. Comparable with flat drying of wool.”

If you’d like to take part, please add your details here

Everyone who takes part and who shares feedback and fills in a short survey as required will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Done, fingers crossed!

A tumble dryer that stops shrinkage. My house needs that as I cant keep passing off my shrunk items as dolls clothes. That doll is the best dressed in this house.

GretchenFranklin · 03/10/2017 00:48

Applied. Just for the washing machine as I've tolerated the noisiest Bosch for 5 fricking years.

Good luck everyone!

ldt87 · 03/10/2017 08:57

Done, I'd happily test any as my washer and dryer are both ancient and rubbish!

PrimalLass · 03/10/2017 10:00

Done. :-) The tumble drier in particular would be fab as ours is making lots of noise and makes the walls wet.

Scoleah · 03/10/2017 10:35

Applied, fingers crossed. All look fab! Grin

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 03/10/2017 11:12

Done, I’m assuming if selected we would only get to test one of them so have put for the tumble drier as that would make a massive difference to us. 2 boys who get clothes dirty in a flash, one of them has reflux despite being nearly 7 and with a new baby arriving on Monday at the latest we have so much washing and most of it I can’t use in our old tumble drier, so the house ends up with airers by every radiator trying to dry them. Can’t put washing outside as apart from the rain we have a load of tall trees just behind our garden fence which the neighbour won’t cut down that house a load of birds that poop in our garden. So the idea of a tumble drier that can dry anything without a risk of shrinkage would be great!! Ds2 has lost one of his school jumpers on Friday, and then came home yesterday with his other jumper filthy and there isn’t time to wash and dry it for the next day, so the idea of being able to put it in the tumble drier sounds like heaven!!

Done- the survey didn't want to know much about my family though, which is unusual.

lovewatchingrainfall · 03/10/2017 16:58

Wow entered.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 03/10/2017 17:04

Seeing as my tumble drier died a month ago I would love to try this.

SillyMoomin · 03/10/2017 17:12

Oh goodness yes please!

DioneTheDiabolist · 03/10/2017 17:12

With a 10 yo and a new baby arriving in the next few weeks I could really do with a new tumble dryer. The qualification and profession questions were a bit limited on the survey.

SillyMoomin · 03/10/2017 17:14

MNHQ- would these to be test and keep or to return?
I’d clear some space in my kitchen to fit it if so! Grin

torthecatlady · 03/10/2017 17:17

Accidentally signed up with my old email address but used my current username (related to my current email) on the form! I no longer have access to the old email address... What a wally...
I've signed up again with my current email and current username! Hopefully the clever people at mumsnet will figure it out! Grin

Candyperfumegirl · 03/10/2017 17:25

Fingers crossed, would love to try the washing machines out!

Cagliostro · 03/10/2017 17:27

Ohhh yes please. Seriously in need of a washing machine that doesn't ruin clothes!

MNHQ I wasn't sure whether to put 2 or 3 children as baby is due in the next few weeks :o

(Hence the extra desperation for a new WM :o)

RestingBitchFaceKeepsYouYoung · 03/10/2017 17:38

Done!

tisha934 · 03/10/2017 17:39

SarahBeeney · 03/10/2017 17:41

Fingers crossed to try the Tumble Dryer!

revelsandrose · 03/10/2017 17:42

Oh wow, I really hope I get picked! With two ds's in school shirts and a weaning baby the washing machine would be fab! And the dryer at this time of year!

Katescurios · 03/10/2017 17:42

Planning to buy our first ever tumble dryer soon so the opportunity to try this would be perfect . form completed and fingers and toes crossed.

MoanaofMotunui · 03/10/2017 17:50

Have applied for the tumble drier as I've never owned one and am starting to lose my mind over the amount of washing needing to be dried indoors due to bad weather.

Between DP's work uniform, hobby clothes, DD's school uniform (and 10 other outfit changes each day) and 3mth old DS's clothes, I can imagine a tumble drier would be an absolute godsend!

Keeping all fingers and toes crossed!!

NedsMissingHead · 03/10/2017 18:14

Done, I'll put any machine to the test with my 5 disgustingly filthy children, sweaty kits, muddy clothes, 4 loads per day ConfusedGrin

HermanCakeDestroyer · 03/10/2017 18:33

What a nice little product test - would love to get involved in this!

RedBlu · 03/10/2017 18:41

Oooh, fingers crossed. Since having DD in May, our washer/dryer does not cut it at all!
