Non-tester - We were waiting for a bus and I told my son if the driver asks him, to say he's 4 so he could get on for free. The bus pulled up and when the doors opened he shouted "I'M 4!!!!" at the top of his voice haha!

When DD was a toddler I realised I had to rein in my frustration at the bad driving of other drivers because she started saying the same things as I did when we were in the car, although quite funny to hear her, it was not too explicit, I changed my habit to just shaking my head and sighing deeply, which she also copied but was a lot safer! :)

barbsbarbs · 03/09/2017 12:57

when my son was three, we passed a completley bald man and he turned round in his pushchair and said, he didnt knows eggs could walk.

Helsbells68 · 03/09/2017 13:04

Non tester - when I went clothes shopping with my DS if I left the pushchair too close to a mannequin wearing a skirt he would lift it to see what she was wearing underneath :)

towser44 · 03/09/2017 13:06

On the way back from shopping and we had picked up a Tiger Loaf to have some sandwiches with. Our daughter asked if it was made from real tigers as she wasn't sure she should have her sandwiches on that bread and we should turn around and get a different loaf.

mooota1514 · 03/09/2017 13:35

Non tester - DS used to do a lot of loud directing from the buggy, usually on the school run which we did 3 times a day, 5 days a week. Made me laugh as I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get lost smile

IonaAilidh11 · 03/09/2017 14:03

non tester, my ds used to shout hello to everyone

Dormouse1940 · 03/09/2017 14:12

Non-tester here....

This happened a couple of weeks ago, and was more mortifying than funny at the time but..... we were stood waiting for the ferry and a crowd was gathering in the waiting area. An elderly gentleman with a long beard was stood nearby and when my dear toddler spotted him he pointed and yelled 'LOOK MUMMY, A FUNNY GNOME!!'

If only the entire floor could have opened up and swallowed us right then and there...

beckyinman · 03/09/2017 14:16

Non-tester - mine shouted "He's done a poo" and pointed at a man nearby on the high street whilst she was in the pushchair. I'm guessing he hadn't but wasn't hanging around to find out

Spices001 · 03/09/2017 14:39

My daughter used to shout "mommy stealing!" every time I put something in the basket , we had to have a little chat...

compy99 · 03/09/2017 14:44

non tester - randomly shouting out "David Bowie and Mr Tumble`' to anyone that walked past the pushchair!

janeyf1 · 03/09/2017 14:59

Non-tester. When passing a building that had chimney smoke billowing, my dc said 'someone is smoking - Dad will be so cross!)

lizd31 · 03/09/2017 15:14

My great niece's Mummy asked her 'If Mummy could take you anywhere in the world that would make you most happy where would it be?' Olivia happily shouted out 'TESCO!'

Emmap12 · 03/09/2017 15:30

My very early to talk son aged 15 months used to shout "Get me out" at the top of his voice from his push chair which made me feel like I was wrong to have him strapped in. He was very vocal and still is now as a stroppy teenager 😀

When my son was small, he was in his pushchair in church - it was not long after Epiphany, and over Christmas there had been a lovely crib display in church with models of the shepherds, wise men etc. During a particularly quiet part of the service my toddler looked over to where the crib had been , saw that it was no longer there, and shouted out at the top of his voice "WHERE'S BABY JESUS!???!! I LOOKING! I LOOKING FOR BABY JESUS!!"
Well it was funny at the time.

My son hated people in front of the pushchair and used to scream until they moved out of our way. He hasn't really said anything funny but pedestrians were amused to see him picking hailstones off the pushchair cover and eating them.

Emski33 · 03/09/2017 17:24

My son likes to point out any dog poo he sees whilst we're out and about in his pushchair - lovely!

Cailin7 · 03/09/2017 17:39

Our DD was terrible for wanting to take her hat and shoes off when in her buggy. Had to keep a keen eye, lost a few..

My oldest DS used to lean out of his pushchair and grab peoples clothing... then just giggle and giggle

laurakwright · 03/09/2017 19:15

Pointed to an overweight man and shouted "look it's the fat controller"

daydreambeliever21 · 03/09/2017 19:35

Non-tester.

My youngest was a bit light-fingered as a little one and would regularly use the pushchair as a getaway car after helping himself from the shelves at the supermarket! Luckily I got very wise to it so we never actually left without paying for something he'd helped himself to but it continued into nursery when he'd come out with pockets full of Lego and I'd have to return it all the next day!

Thankfully he grew out of it and is now mortified by the stories we tell him.

Minnibix · 03/09/2017 20:15

On the way back from holiday my little boy pipes up "Oh look a ding dong) we just cracked up it took us ages to find out what he had seen was a digger on a low loader lorry (never found out where ding dong came from)

charliesantix · 03/09/2017 20:32

Can we go and see Godzilla in the boat? Think he meant gondolier as we were in Venice!

nettymay · 03/09/2017 20:44

We had just been to visit my sister who was heavily pregnant. Our 2 year old asked 'why are you fat aunty?' She told him the truth!
He turned around in his pushchair on the way home and said "Aunty Chris is going to have to open her mouth really wide for that baby to climb out!"

My DS and DD found it hilarious. When he was around 3 and my daughter was 7 they would put the window down and start calling out to men walking down the street: 'Daddy!!!!'
Some laughed, some looked at me as if thinking 'Control your kids' but the look of absolute horror on some of the faces was very funny indeed.
