Tefal has asked us to find 30 Mumsnetters with at least one child over the age of 2 to test the Tefal one-pot digital cooker Cook4Me (RRP £269.99).

Here’s what Tefal have to say about the product: “You don’t need to be a masterchef to achieve delicious meals in no time! Tefal have innovated again, and now give you Cook4Me.

Cook4Me is a one-pot digital cooker, ideal for parents looking to make fast and fresh meals:
- It is easy to use and intuitive: Cook4Me comes with 50 built-in recipes, and features a digital screen with guided cooking steps.
- Cook4Me cooks under pressure, which means you will save a lot of time. For example, after browning and pre-heating, it cooks a Chicken Tikka Masala in 3 minutes, a Thai Green Chicken curry in 4 minutes and a Risotto in 9 minutes (and no need to stir!)…
- It is the ideal all-in-one cooker, with up to 6 cooking manual modes: not only does it pressure cook, but it also steams, browns, simmers, gentle-cooks and automatically keeps your food warm. Its dishwasher-safe bowl can feed 6 people, perfect for the whole family or for batch-cooking.

Cook4Me comes in a standard version, with 50 built-in recipes (RRP is £269.99), and in a Connected version, that works with My Cook4Me app, giving access to over 100 recipes (RRP is £319.99).”

If selected, you’ll need to test Cook4Me as a part of your normal routine for 2 weeks and give feedback on a thread as well as completing a short survey. All who give the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

I've already got 19 recipes selected as favourites and a huge shopping list! DD is really keen to give the chocolate puddings a go so I'll need some ramekins. Hoping it's so easy she can make dinner. Can't wait to get started.

Haha snowballs, that's how I got my set of 22 ramekins Grin

PyongyangKipperbang · 24/06/2017 17:33

I have Gu ramekins too :o

saltedcaramelhotchoc · 24/06/2017 18:36

I've downloaded the app too. Loads of recipes! Interested to see how the one pot pasta and ham and tomatoes cooks- could be a game changer....

PyongyangKipperbang · 25/06/2017 00:55

DH was a bit "oh...right..." when I told him about being a tester until I said "There's a recipe for chilli that cooks in under 10 minutes". Then he became more impatient to recieve it than I am!

saltedcaramelhotchoc · 25/06/2017 07:53

Having the reviews with the recipes is helpful. Though it has put me off the pasta with ham and tomatoes!

PurpleCrazyHorse · 25/06/2017 08:43

Thanks for GU ramekins idea. I have some but totally forgot about them. Wondering if they're really too small, although we could eat two each (the chocolate pudding looks really good!)

I've also found a couple of FB groups for some more recipe ideas and planning a search of the internet for pressure cooker recipes. Can't wait to try the set recipes but hopefully to transfer some of my slow cooker meals to the Cook4Me.

saltedcaramelhotchoc · 25/06/2017 10:58

Saw it in real life in a shop just now. It's huge! Bigger than I expected.

And was retailing at £299....

Feeling incredibly lucky!;)

ShelaghTurner · 25/06/2017 11:15

I never even though to go and look at it! Which shop?

saltedcaramelhotchoc · 25/06/2017 11:19

Lakeland! It says on their website it's discontinued I think, but it was in the shop - looks fab.

beargryllshasabigrope · 25/06/2017 11:21

I've been selected too! Can't wait to try it. I didn't know there was an app so I'll download that now

ShelaghTurner · 25/06/2017 13:39

Ooh there's a Lakeland here... I might wander in

PyongyangKipperbang · 28/06/2017 09:23

Anyone had an email about them being sent out? Getting impatient now!

I am shopping today and wondering if its worth me getting the ever growing list of ingredients for this!

beargryllshasabigrope · 28/06/2017 10:08

No email yet. I want to know too!

ShelaghTurner · 28/06/2017 13:29

Waiting too. I'm exploding with recipes!

PurpleCrazyHorse · 28/06/2017 14:06

I've just had my big shop delivered and really keen to get started. We've got beef, lamb and salmon in the freezer now although no idea where the Tefal will go Grin

JustineBMumsnet · 28/06/2017 16:44

@PyongyangKipperbang, @beargryllshasabigrope, @ShelaghTurner, @PurpleCrazyHorse - emails have been sent Grin

Welshmaenad · 28/06/2017 16:56

Just had an email to say it should be here tomorrow!

PyongyangKipperbang · 28/06/2017 17:11

Thank you! Just got back from shopping, which did NOT include the required ingredients ....... ah well, back to Aldi then!

ShelaghTurner · 28/06/2017 18:21

Hurrah! Pesto chicken risotto for tea tomorrow 😋

MissEliza · 28/06/2017 18:36

This is coming just in time! We have family coming so this will really help with cooking.
Can I ask a stupid question? I'd assumed we'd have to return these but was talking to my neighbour who'd also applied and she was sure I can keep it!

ShelaghTurner · 28/06/2017 20:03

As far as I know, as long as you meet the feedback requirements then it's yours to keep. I've never in my life had to return a review product, although I never signed up for one of the car ones.... WinkGrin

beargryllshasabigrope · 28/06/2017 21:49

Looking forward to it arriving tomorrow. I haven't got much in that I can throw in it tomorrow so it might not get a test run til Friday. Not sure what to try first.

YogiYoni · 28/06/2017 22:29

Where are you all getting the recipes from?
