Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

“The EB400 brush head meanwhile ensures vacuuming is thorough, gentle and hygienic – driven by its own motor, a special rotating brush scans the floor 16 times per second and removes dirt and dust completely. Even the finest dirt particles do not stand a chance!

“Visit kobold.vorwerk.co.uk to find out more about the Kobold VK200 vacuum cleaner and discover the array of clever additional accessories that turn this machine into the Ultimate Homecare System! Simply click and swap to the attachment you need to expertly deal with upholstery, furniture, mattresses, textiles and anything else you need cleaned. Non-tester who hates hoovering and cleaning the dining room as my toddler loves to throw her food around so it is crumb city and I always find something I never knew was hiding in there like a squashed pea or spoonful of soup under the seat!

AngelicCurls · 01/11/2016 21:09

Stair definitely, especially round the 2 stair gates where all the dog hair seems to congregate Sad

Ilikesweetpeas · 01/11/2016 21:10

My least favourite has to be the stairs, we have a split staircase with a landing in the middle and it's such a faf to take the hose part out. I don't bother for any other room, maybe I don't get to the edge properly because of this Blush

xcxcsophiexcxc · 01/11/2016 21:12

The living room ! Under the sofa and tables and the little crooks and crannys and corners is a nightmare

aristocat · 01/11/2016 21:17

Non Tester

I also hate hoovering the stairs Sadmy hoover is so heavy and it's such a chore.......

IneedAdinosaurNickname · 01/11/2016 21:30

Non tester - My least favourite place to vacuum is under my bed because my bedroom is quite small so there isn't anywhere to move the bed to whilst I clean under it so I never do it

mumsbe · 01/11/2016 21:30

The sitting room because I have to Hoover at least 3 times a day. The children just trash the place in seconds. Its a complete nightmare getting our big hoover out it would be amazing to have a lightweight handheld hoover to make life easy.

TheImpossibleGhoul · 01/11/2016 22:04

Non-tester (and jealous)

My least favourite place to vacuum is my teen DD's room, because before you vacuum a carpet you have to be able to see it.

OctopusHairband · 01/11/2016 22:28

Non tester.

My least favourite place to vacuum is the car as I have to remove the car seats and lug the vacuum outside. Plus my vacuum just broke Sad

bella165 · 01/11/2016 22:44

my least favourite place is the kitchen as the dog and cat not forgetting the kids are forever coming and going through the doors

ColdCottage · 01/11/2016 23:32

Mine is the bathroom floor. It's wooden as massive. Our cottage had an extension which means a lovely kitchen downstairs and a massive bathroom above it (would be a useful spare room for guests if it wasn't the only bathroom in the house). It has a wooden floor with unevenly placed floorboards and gaps around the sink as loo as well as lots of corners and my normal Henry just can't cope very well which means mean on my hands and knees which isn't fun with my bad back.

Bubblemumma1 · 02/11/2016 01:22

Least favourite place to hoover are the stairs Sad
My hoover is quite lightweight but I still don't enjoy moving it from step to step.

WheresTheCoffee · 02/11/2016 09:57

Non tester: My absolute worst place to hi vacuum is my sons room, the carpet is always full for Lego! I have to creep across the floor on knees picking out the tiny one-ers before going over it with the big vacuum. A small hand held one would revolutionise this part of the clean!!

Butteredpars1ps · 02/11/2016 10:10

Non tester who needs a new vacuum. Desperate emoticon.

My worst place to vacuum is our fireplace. It is a beautiful inglenook and I love snuggling by the fire. I can't imagine Christmas without it. But, the dust is a right embuggeration to shift.

Kriek · 02/11/2016 10:50

Mine has to be the stairs. Or the cupboard under the stairs. I hate the turn and we store all our shoes in the cupboard beneath them. You walk into the cupboard then you are bending about trying to get in nooks and crannies. Annoying.

malaguena · 02/11/2016 12:07

non-tester here
My least favourite room is strangely my bedroom, because I hate hoovering under the bed/under the furniture and I find it hard to navigate around the room with my old hoover and the attachment are quite unpractical.

BonjourMinou · 02/11/2016 12:25

Least favourite place has to be the stairs. Upright vacuum is always so heavy and unwieldy to lug around. We have a DustBuster but it's just not as powerful as I would like.

smudgedlipstick · 02/11/2016 12:34

I hate hoovering the stairs Envy and the bathroom, I have real state tiles that are bumpy and uneven, it's difficult with my big heavy hoover

Ladygaggia · 02/11/2016 13:22

Non tester...

Stairs!
Without a doubt the worst thing to vacuum!
Last week I managed to pull the upright down onto my forehead whilst vigorously vacuuming the staircase.
Rude words were said and now I have a bruise!!

LittleMoonbuggy · 02/11/2016 13:30

Non tester here.

My least favourite place to vacuum is the gaps between kitchen cupboards and washing machine, fridge etc. the crumbs accumulate so quickly there, but it's so ditto reach them.

BlackeyedPetitsPois · 02/11/2016 14:08

Non tester here.

Stairs are my least favourite. Plus the spindles and banisters. Always so bloody dusty!!

FatOldBag · 02/11/2016 14:10

Non tester.

I hate vacuuming anywhere - I have ME so dragging a big old vacuum around the house is exhausting! My least favourite room is the kitchen because we have 2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats and it's always grotty. Plus I know that once I've finished vacuuming, it'll need mopping as well. I'd love to win a kobold vk200 so I can mop and vacuum at the same time, twice the work in half the time would be amazing!

Rae1000 · 02/11/2016 14:56

Non tester. Daughters bedroom. Behind & side of bed is always a disgrace!!!

McButtonwillow · 02/11/2016 16:08

Non- tester.

The stairs! So awkward trying to balance Hoover/hose and myself. My current Hoover doesn't reach the whole flight so I have to take it halfway up to reach them all and have almost lost balance a number of times.

My stairs are always so mucky too with football playing dcs who seem to use it as a seat to take boots on and off!

myrtle4me · 02/11/2016 16:14

My least favourite place to hoover is my stairs as i can't manage to hold/balance hoover easily enough for me to hoover safely
