Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

I hate having to Hoover out the car! I have to get the extension lead out and then fight through the cobwebs in the garage to find the old Hoover (to which I don't have any replacement bags so it's permanently full until I hand empty it!!) which is hanging from the ceiling, so it's a nightmare to get down!
Then it's drag the machine to each door and I end up hoovering up loads of shingle from the driveway!! Obviously it doesn't happen very often.

My least favourite room to clean is my 8 year old son as I find all manner of gross things. Bogies/sticky sweets/quavers/pretzels you name it - its down the side of my sons bed lol

GinAndOnIt · 31/10/2016 21:20

Least favourite place is the kitchen. It's where the dog sleeps, there's an open fire, plus a rug under the table. Trying to manoeuvre the heavy Dyson around all that drives me barmy.

lorka · 31/10/2016 21:32

My least favourite place has got to be my car with all the little nooks and crannies to get into.

MooseyMouse · 31/10/2016 21:34

The stairs - what a pain!

countingdown · 31/10/2016 22:22

Non-tester. The stairs! Although tonight my 8 year old decided to sniff the inside of his Flake wrapper on my cream rug in the lounge! That wasn't my most favourite place!

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 31/10/2016 22:29

My least favourite place to vacuum is the stairs. It's such a struggle lifting the cleaner to get to all the stairs and I can't do the full flight from one end because the cord won't reach far enough.

GrumpyInsomniac · 31/10/2016 23:44

I'm another whose least favourite is the stairs. I'm disabled, and while I can just about shuffle a vacuum cleaner round a normal room, the constant lifting involved with the stairs makes it just too painful to do. It may be my current Hoover is just old and heavy, of course, but it's a real struggle.

slithytove · 01/11/2016 00:19

Kids room.too much shite to move

MsMims · 01/11/2016 00:36

Non tester - my least favourite room is the hallway. With lots of muddy paws it needs doing often and is a real bugbear.

foxessocks · 01/11/2016 02:07

Living room because of the size and the amount of obstacles!

My least favourite place to vacuum is the car. I just never manage to get a good finish. Always bits left over and never manage to reach down the cracks.

lottietiger · 01/11/2016 03:31

Non tester.
My least favourite is the kitchen, crumbs under the table mud brought in from outside and always always a cobweb in the corner .

Pickofthepops · 01/11/2016 03:59

Least favourite place is down the sides of the toilets in our house - my husband is quite hairy and where he 'moults' it collects in these narrow gaps - yuck!

Carlat86 · 01/11/2016 06:05

Oh my goodness, has to be the stairs. The vac is either to big or the cord makes the whole thing very cumbersome. I hate that for each step you have to take the vac bit on and off so you can vac the step then get into the corners. This job gets left to maybe once a month because it's such a pain.

caromacx · 01/11/2016 06:38

My least favourite is around the wood burner; ash, bits of wood and the usual dog hair!

Ntinyn · 01/11/2016 06:40

WIthout a doubt the stairs. Current vacuum has short lead and it's such a faff!

lucjam2105 · 01/11/2016 07:20

The Kitchen. I chose a kitchen that didn't have straight pelmets but one that has a sticky out bit on every cupboard, so I have to hoover all the corners with an attachment. Would so love to try a hoover/mop as we have lots of hardwood, tiled, laminate flooring.

GinAndOnIt · 01/11/2016 07:59

The only thing that puts me off that handheld is the 13-20 minute battery life - so you'd have to have it out charging all the time surely? Is this normal for all hand-helds? I've not used one before.

CheeseAtFourpence · 01/11/2016 08:08

Worst place is the car - dog hair down all the cracks. Or the dining room - dog hair around the chair legs. Or the kitchen - dog hair around all the bar stools. You get the picture. Upstairs is a breeze - the dog isn't allowed up there!

Intotheclouds · 01/11/2016 08:16

Worst place for me is the hall way. It is where my husband decides to dump his shoes but also his work gear (he is a plasterer) so the whole hallway gets covered in plaster daily Angry

ChangedDaily · 01/11/2016 08:39

Least favourite is DD's room. It's always covered in crap so it takes ages to get the carpet clear enough to vacuum.

irie · 01/11/2016 08:46

I hate hoovering the stairs!

littlemouse15 · 01/11/2016 08:49

The least favorite has to be the stairs, I have to plug it in at the bottom to hoover to the middle, then unplug it and drag it upstairs to plug it into the bedroom plug and stretch it into the hall to hoover the top of the stairs , being careful that it doesnt fall on me from the top as I hoover. (I have an old style orange vax with bags and no plug in my upstairs hall)
