This is the feedback thread for the 10 Mumsnetters trying the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner.

Non testers - we also have 5 handheld vacuums to be won - simply share on this thread what your least favourite room or place to vac is and you will be entered into a prize draw where 5 non testers will each win their very own Kobold VC100 handheld vacuum cleaner (RRP £129.00) Smile

Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

“The EB400 brush head meanwhile ensures vacuuming is thorough, gentle and hygienic – driven by its own motor, a special rotating brush scans the floor 16 times per second and removes dirt and dust completely. Even the finest dirt particles do not stand a chance!

“Visit kobold.vorwerk.co.uk to find out more about the Kobold VK200 vacuum cleaner and discover the array of clever additional accessories that turn this machine into the Ultimate Homecare System! Simply click and swap to the attachment you need to expertly deal with upholstery, furniture, mattresses, textiles and anything else you need cleaned. Built to last, the Kobold VK200 is the only vacuum cleaner you’ll ever need”.

The bedroom especially when it is time to move the bed out

Narnianescape · 26/11/2016 18:02

Hate vacuuming the kitchen with the awkward corners

alabaster002 · 26/11/2016 18:10

Living/dining room. Maximum use and largest area!

Moggy12 · 26/11/2016 18:11

I hate vacuuming the stairs

starryskies78 · 26/11/2016 18:24

My least favourite please is the shelves/ceiling of the conservatory. It's high to reach so I always end up leaving it too long and then it's a nightmare!

domesticated · 26/11/2016 18:29

Least favourite place is the bedrooms I'm shattered just pulling the beds out

The stairs as most vacuum cleaners are so heavy

jcyclops · 26/11/2016 20:01

The worst room to vacuum is the home office because of the dozen or so cables entangled under and behind the desk.

sammylea80 · 26/11/2016 20:28

The spare room , also known as my craft room or junk room. There is just no space to do anything in there.

yatota74 · 26/11/2016 20:33

Non tester - My least favorite place to vacuum are the stairs

cocochips · 26/11/2016 20:36

The stairs

bella165 · 26/11/2016 20:37

Non tester the stairs is a nightmare

moosexxx · 26/11/2016 20:52

The bathroom.
Its small, the carpet is worn, and the floorboards uneven and covered in rugs.

allsorts4444 · 26/11/2016 20:54

The stairs! Aaaarrrrgggghhh! It's so awkward trying to balance on one step whilst trying to force the nozzle in an awkward position! Hate it!

hedera45 · 26/11/2016 20:58

My husband's study - the floor is always full of paper clips, elastic bands and scraps of paper I have to read in case they are important.

sofieellis · 26/11/2016 21:03

I used to hate doing the stairs, but I moved to a bungalow, so that's no longer a problem! I hate doing the kids' bedrooms, it takes hours to even find the floor, never mind clean it! :D

liz1970 · 26/11/2016 21:07

I hate doing the stairs as so awkward!

paulaburnside · 26/11/2016 21:18

I hate hoovering the stairs. Its such an effort getting all the tools out and I always end up stretching the hose too far and pulling the hoover over. Grrr

pfcpompeysarah · 26/11/2016 21:20

The stairs are my worst place to hoover, the cable doesn't allow me to reach up to the top steps so I have to do most of the stairs and then unplug the hoover, cart it upstairs, and do the remaining few steps... so annoying!

mummymummums · 26/11/2016 21:25

Non-tester here - I hate vacuuming the stairs. Also my daughter's bedroom as it's v hard to avoid all the Playmobil and Shopkins

stefalfie11 · 26/11/2016 21:38

The stairs are a nightmare!

alienbuffy · 26/11/2016 21:43

Non tester - I hate hoovering the stairs

fazkin · 26/11/2016 21:44

I hate the stairways followed by kids room as it filled with little things that need picking up. I'm literally like a hen pecking at it

andreaca · 26/11/2016 21:52

I absolutely hate doing my daughters room, Im sure she moults, theres more hair on the floor than in her head- probably.
