This is the feedback thread for the 10 Mumsnetters trying the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner.

Non testers - we also have 5 handheld vacuums to be won - simply share on this thread what your least favourite room or place to vac is and you will be entered into a prize draw where 5 non testers will each win their very own Kobold VC100 handheld vacuum cleaner (RRP £129.00) Smile

Back to the test, the team at Kobold say “compact, unbeatably handy and extremely powerful, the Kobold VK200 Upright Vacuum Cleaner is the ideal addition to your household, making life easier and cleaner.
Designed by global German household appliance manufacturer Vorwerk, the Kobold VK200, in combination with two different attachments, takes care of all your floor cleaning needs. Whether it’s carpets or hard floors – the VK200 Homecare System has it covered.
The unique SP530 DuoClean head allows you to mop and vacuum at the same time – a world first! It uses just 100ml of water to cover up to 20 m² of hard floor. And the best part? Simply remove the cleaning cloths when you’ve finished and pop them in the washing machine ready for next time.

“The EB400 brush head meanwhile ensures vacuuming is thorough, gentle and hygienic – driven by its own motor, a special rotating brush scans the floor 16 times per second and removes dirt and dust completely. Even the finest dirt particles do not stand a chance!

“Visit kobold.vorwerk.co.uk to find out more about the Kobold VK200 vacuum cleaner and discover the array of clever additional accessories that turn this machine into the Ultimate Homecare System! Simply click and swap to the attachment you need to expertly deal with upholstery, furniture, mattresses, textiles and anything else you need cleaned. Built to last, the Kobold VK200 is the only vacuum cleaner you’ll ever need”.

The utility and downstairs toilet because in the utility I have to move the cats litter tray, bin and mat and then in the toilet I have to attach the hose so it's just a fiddly job.

chrin · 26/11/2016 13:34

I hate hoovering the bedroom as it's not very big and I can't get the hoover under my bed properly

Nikks381 · 26/11/2016 13:40

Me least favorite room is my bedroom because I have a black and grey carpet and it shows up any little bit so needs doing all the time.

Elizasmum02 · 26/11/2016 13:45

hate hoovering the kitchen but breadcrumbs drive me mad!

janeyf1 · 26/11/2016 13:50

The lounge because it is the largest

lovelykins · 26/11/2016 13:51

I hate all of them!

dizziwendy · 26/11/2016 13:57

Awesome

mave · 26/11/2016 13:58

Non-tester I hate hoovering full stop but don't like hoovering my eldest daughter's room, it's always covered in hair as she has thick long hair!!

badgermum · 26/11/2016 14:10

Our Kitchen/diner we dont have plinths under our kitchen units so you have to hoover right under all of the cupboards every time as thats where bits collect and it seems to take forever, then no sooner is it all done someone will eat something and drop crumbs all over the floor,

EmmaNiggles · 26/11/2016 14:20

The hallway. It is always full of dog hairs!

cwalliss82 · 26/11/2016 14:52

I hate having to hoover the lounge if I am doing a proper clean where I have to pull out the sofas/wooden furniture. I hate moving them as it has ruffled the carpet but it does need doing from time to time. I hope that Santa can bring me a nice new carpet for Christmas.

prwilson · 26/11/2016 15:06

Has to be the stairs.

emmav6 · 26/11/2016 15:13

the stairs are a pain in the bum, they wind round at the top & i hate having to heave the heavy vacuum upstairs

kacky · 26/11/2016 15:18

Hall stairs and landings. It's a nightmare. I could do 3 rooms by the time I've done them.

LycanGav · 26/11/2016 15:18

the stairs

littlemonkeyz · 26/11/2016 16:03

I hate hoovering under the dining table because I always find a phantom pea after I have put the hoover away.

madge47 · 26/11/2016 16:17

My son's bedroom always lots of boxes and things to move x

bridge16 · 26/11/2016 17:01

I like hoovering the kids bedrooms because if i am in there with a hoover then it means their rooms are tidy and i can see the floor!

Funkyferret · 26/11/2016 17:08

Non tester: My least favourite place to vacuum is the living room, the floor of which seems to be permanently covered in crumbs, cat hair and mud (no matter how many times I say "muddy shoes off at the front door", with my husband being the worst offender!

ftovey7 · 26/11/2016 17:10

The stairs is my least favourite, so awkward lugging the vac up and down trying to do it

spottypjs · 26/11/2016 17:21

The stairs!!! Hate it!

glennamy · 26/11/2016 17:24

The 'office' room... full of cable and electronics that seem to attract so much dust!

MSHGW · 26/11/2016 17:29

The main bedroom, because there's not much room for manure in there. Too much furniture to move to clean behind it, etc.

MSHGW · 26/11/2016 17:30

*Manoeuvre not manure! Silly autocorrect!

wjanice121 · 26/11/2016 17:31

The nursery because the talcum powder gets everywhere
