This is the feedback thread for the MNers who have been watching Amazon Prime Video with their families for a week.

Here’s what Amazon have to say: ‘Amazon Prime Video allows families to enjoy unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows. Anywhere, anytime. We are interested to find out what MNers who are already Amazon Prime Video users watch with their families, and what they like about it; as well as what content their kids watch and enjoy too. We want to know how Amazon Prime Video fits into your daily routine and why it is important to you and your family, particularly the ability to download and watch ad-free content on the move.’

Please post your feedback about Amazon Prime Video and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Amazon voucher.

Please answer these questions below, but also feel free to add your own comments:

  1. What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
  2. What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
  3. What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
  4. What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
  5. Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
  6. Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

Thank you for taking part in the product test and good luck with the prize draw!

The last thing we watched was Spongebob, I like Spongebob as the humor appeals to all ages.

Spongebob, Top gear, Lego, Batman, and lots of movies. They like the fact they can select the episode they want when they want and not have adverts. (often the same episodes over and over again!)

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

Having whole series available so you can watch at own rate, and being able to download episodes for long journeys.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
The variety of programs we have watched cartoons, american series such as arrow and have enjoyed some of the adult exclusive series like Luther an Preacher

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

They've not watched those ones but do enjoy the Lego ones although I'm not sure if they are amazon exclusives.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
Two By Two. This was a film we had missed at the cinema so it was great to be able to see a relatively new film without having to pay extra. We also have Sky and the Sky Store movies are pretty expensive, even the old films.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, Creative Galaxy, Super Why, and kids' movies.

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
Being able to download TV shows and movies to my iPad. This came in handy when we were delayed at the airport for three hours last week as my 9yo watched the Lego Movie while we were waiting.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
Being able to browse easily for shows that we might not have discovered otherwise. Having access to films and TV shows that aren't on Sky. Being able to rent new movies to watch on the TV but with a longer rental period than Sky (48 hours vs 24 hours) and they're usually cheaper too.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
My 3yo loves Jazz Duck and Creative Galaxy.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
I probably order from Amazon more than 100 times a year - all sorts of things from dog food to electronics devices. The Prime membership means orders arrive more quickly or I can choose normal delivery and get a £1 credit that I use for Kindle books. I like the photo storage as well, as it's reassuring to have that back up.

A: Unfortunately my boys weren't interested in Wishenproof! or Just Add Magic as according to them they were for "girls" - sorry! My youngest boy (Just turned 6) liked Tumbleleaf as he giggled quite a bit while it was on.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

Absolutely important and vital to our household. We order every week from Amazon - from grocery bits to furniture. We know we get a competitive price, it is delivered promptly and best of all if there are any problems returns and refunds are relatively hassle free. The boys watch prime everyday, and at the weekend my husband and I watch a film/stand up comedy. I use the wishlists to organise birthday presents. I also use subscribe service for the things I buy monthly/bi-monthly. My husband works long hours and I have a chronic condition which means going to the shops is sometimes not easy. Amazon is my first go-to point for anything.

  1. What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
Wishenpoof, Kung fu Panda legends of awesomeness
  2. What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
My DD4 likes watching wishenpoof and my little pony series. My DS7 likes Kung fu panda. We have bought a lot of movies also so he mainly watches these. I think the film choices for kids on Prime is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes there are lots of good options but right now there is nothing they would watch in Kids Movies or Animation.
  3. What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video? For adults we love the box set series such as Vikings and The Fall and Transparent.
  4. What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
We can run it on several devices. My son has autism and tends to flick from one thing to another - whereas the rest of us can watch something all the way through.
  5. Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them? My daughter has enjoyed both Tumbleleaf and Wishenpoof. She likes that they are shorter than films and I think there is a warm cosiness to them that she finds comforting.
  6. Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
It's very important. We have invested a lot of money to buy kids movies so we can dispense with DVDs. Our DS loves his iPad and this gives him the freedom to watch what he wants. Having autism he often wants to watch the same ten second clip over and over and over again. When this was with a dvd it was unbearable for the rest of the family. Amazon were great when he figured out how to buy a lot of films and TV programmes one day on the Fire Stick - I got a full refund. Parental controls now fully installed on all devices!!
Prime delivery is very important too especially when it's difficult to go out. I'm
Fire Stick remote thrown in the paddling pool? - new one delivered next day.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
It was Ninjago series 3 with my two boys. Its a great storyline and the music is fun too. I like that its a series rather than a film as it feels like you get more content and it means that they can complete an episode whereas I would have to pause a film for them and they may not get a chance to watch the end on the same day.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
Fireman Sam, Ninjago, Umizoomi, The stinky and dirty show, Noddy, The penguins of madagascar, Thomas films, how to train your dragon - riders of berk, thunderbirds, Kung fu panda...
They love amazon prime because there is so much choice, they are never bored. The love the seasons of things with episodes as you feel like you keep the storyline going. I love that there is something for both the 4 and 6 year old as well as films that we haven't seen. They love to watch it on the ipad or onto the TV and I love that they can put it on themselves and be indendant with it. DVD's in comparrison are a real fiddle and they can't access the content in the same way. I also like that there is lots of educational shows like umizoomi that they hadn't seen before but that are great for a preschooler learning to count and measure.

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
I love that there is something for all of us. For me there is nothing better than ending the day watching a new addictive season on amazon like the 100. I also like that the content changes.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
I like that there is something for all of us. Its soooo easy to use and access.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
They love stinky and dirty which is an orgional and they like that they are new and different.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
I am totally sold on amazon prime membership - speedy delivery, I love the music content as much as the video content as it gives me plenty of new albums from my favourite bands and artists which I can play when I am out and about. The whole package is much more than I could get with another video streaming option like netflix.
I would be lost without amazon prime! I love that it helps me get birthday presents to people on time even when I only remember the day before.

I do wish however that I could create a special login for the kids only where they can only access childrens content as that would give me more peace of mind.

Not a MN tester over the last week, but I use Amazon Prime a lot so I thought I'd chip in.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
Room on the Broom. I have seen it and the Gruffalo both a million times but I still LOVE Room on the Broom, so I'll happily sit and watch that with DS again and again. DD is too little for it yet.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
DS is 3 and he loves Bubbleguppies, Umizoomi, Dora, Wishenpoof, Go Diego Go, and the storybook ones like Room on the Broom, The Gruffalo, Gruffalo's Child etc. We usually put one of the last 3 on after bathtime.

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
Content like The Americans and The Man in the High Castle for me and DH, the Julia Donaldson animations for DS and probably soon DD. I like the mix of originals and popular content that is available elsewhere (but say a different season of Dora or Diego or Bubbleguppies). I also like how easy it is to buy content using the fire stick, if a bit too easy - 12-month old DD accidentally bought content by chewing on the fire stick remote last month (the TV was off when I let her play in the room, but apparently the Fire Stick turns it on again)... I found out later when DH (who got the email) asked why I'd bought a random episode of a TV show. We watched it anyway instead of getting it refunded though.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
The flexibility of it. One platform both for streaming and for buying/renting content, suitable for both kids and adults. We use the Amazon Fire Stick as well so it's very easy to navigate. We'll let DS watch Room on the Broom after his bath while in pjs, put baby DD to bed, put him to bed after, play an episode of The Americans next or stream a movie if they've gone down early for a change. We also have Netflix and Wuaki (one is only streaming, one is only purchase) but Amazon is just easier to use.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
Of those, Wishenpoof is the only one DS has watched. DH put it on for him; I came running into see what he was watching because I thought the music in it was great, way beyond what I had come to expect of kids tv.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
Prime is great for us for a number of reasons. We've had it for the last 5 years and in that 5 years we purchased a home and had two kids, so we've needed a lot of stuff, some of it urgently! Next-day delivery is great. I've also ordered a couple of birthday gifts recently that have been delivered on the same day between 6pm and 10pm. There's Amazon Family for the nappies and tommee tippee cassettes. And with Prime Now for the occasional out-of-hours delivery of urgently-needed nappies or cat food, it's been great. I like that all of these are wrapped up together and even though we don't buy as much stuff as we did in the first year of new home/new baby, I still feel like we get a lot out of it.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
Just Add Magic. We were all surprised how much we liked it. Really well written with a good story. We were expecting it to be for younger children (mine are 9 and 12)

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
Various films. They haven't watched much tv so far.

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
Being able to download to our Fire tablets.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
Original content and the download thing.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
Only Just Add Magic as the others looked too young.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
I didn't think I wanted it til I had it! I now find the combination of free next day delivery and the video content really useful.

Some other feedback (I know it wasn't asked for!) The user interface could be better. When using an app on our smart tv it's difficult to pick out particular categories for viewing (eg, family TV) The laptop version, connected via HDMI cable, is better in this respect but it's still not obvious where you need to go from the Amazon homepage. I'd also like to see a 'teenage' category.

  1. Teen Titans Go. DS1 would watch this all day if allowed!

  1. Goodness the list is endless...Thomas, Umizoomi, Teen Titans, Gruffalo, lots of Disney. We love the variation and the ability to choose age appropriate viewing.

  1. There is something for all the family. In loving Preacher at the moment!

It's fabulous that we can stream to xbox one, ps3 etc. DS1 was poorly at the weekend but was cosy in bed watching videos on the prime app on ps3.

  1. The ease of use, the fact the children have separate content & as mentioned the various platforms it can be viewed on. There is always something available that we would watch.

  1. We haven't watched any if these...yet! We will do so soon.

  1. I wasn't that fussed with prime membership....until I got it! On Monday I had a same day delivery for the first time. Fabulous! I love Prime Music and have it on a lot on my phone. I'm also very happy with the kindle lenders library & have read a few books I've been after for a while!

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?

Aquabats. It's a weird and hilarious kids show that I love as much as my DS! It suits both our sense of humour.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?

SpongeBob, Dr Who, Documentaries (various)

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

That its part of Amazon Prime delivery fee. I wouldn't pay for it otherwise. I struggle to find anything I want to watch.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?

Once again it's the free thing. I don't find Amazon video all that great. Rarely has what I want to watch. Even my 8 year old was getting frustrated that so much stuff wasn't available. Both of us really don't like that all the stuff NOT available to watch as part of prime comes up on the search listings.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

I couldn't get my 8 year old DS to watch any of those shows as he had no interest in them, sorry.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

It's not. It's decent enough as you get the free delivery + video + music. If it wasn't a package thing I wouldn't be fussed at all. In 4 years only one 3 occasions have I actually received next day delivery - always takes TWO days. Annoying. The video stuff doesn't have enough content for me and Amazon music has an ugly interface and doesn't provide anything I can't get elsewhere for free.

Extra feedback: Please make a separate kids section. So many unsuitable images (horror stuff mainly) that is all there having good to be scrolled past to find the kids stuff. Netflix do a separate kids section.

  1. What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?

We watching Really me at the moment. I like that DD has an age appropriate show to watch on demand, which keeps her entertained when I'm putting her little brother to bed. She loves the characters and humor.

  1. What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?

They like the movies on demand (anything with talking animals is a bit hit right now - Beverly Hill Chihuahua was surprisingly enjoyable!) and watching series of programmes they don't see otherwise such as Disney or Nickelodeon produced shows (as I won't pay for subscriptions to them!)

  1. What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

I like the high quality drama on demand. Outlander. I love Outlander so much. Preacher and the Man in the High Castle were also great. I love Mozart in the Jungle too. Its nice to be able to watch tv not shown on domestics UK channels. I like being able to rent programmes and movies rather than buy, if not included in the Prime offers.

  1. What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?

Its free with Prime subscription, has lots of content and it makes good "movies like.." suggestions. Which is great as I find the search really hard to use.

  1. Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

DD (9) loved Just Add Magic as did I. It is a good story and lovely to watch. She also really enjoyed Annedriods, Gortimer Gibbons and the Troop. They are really lovely, slightly surreal with funny and lovely characters. The 7-10 age group seems a hard one to find programmes for, not too childish and not too teenagery. These four shows were just perfect.

  1. Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

As a busy working family, having fast delivery is really important. I'm always forgetting costume days so 24hr delivery of a costume has avoided upset children more than once! Prime video was a really nice add on we discovered later on, as was Prime books on Kindle which I also love!

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?
Lego movie. It's amusing enough for the whole family, and out on prime earlier than other places.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
Dora the Explorer & Diego, the Julia Donaldson adaptations. They're 3&5 and these shows are much less awful than other kids tv!

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
Lots of options, can always find something to watch. I find the film selection better than the series selection.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?
We have an app on the TV, and an app on my phone, so it's very convenient. Being able to download shows on my phone is very useful. However, the phone app is a nightmare to get hold of, and you have to allow all sorts of permissions. Why can't you do an app on play store/apple?

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
Had never heard of any of them, or seen them suggested on the app. We tried Tumbleleaf this week - my 3yo tolerates it, my 5yo loves it!

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
Being able to get stuff quickly is very very useful. The added benefits of Amazon music & video mean I'll be stuck being a member, probably! It'd be hard to give them up.

However, I agree with PP, taking the year's subscription in one go is really inconvenient.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it? Lego movies, Peppa pig, Shaun the Sheep, Just add Magic, Step up, with the older children, The 100, Revolution, Divergent, Insurgent, The Duff...On their own my 8, 10 and 12 year old daughters watch the Nicklodean programmes like Sam and Cat (Which puts my teeth on edge) Victorious etc.. The boys prefer superhero/action/lego...
2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why? It's on demand and the can all choose different things at the same time. Often they will watch things together. If the show is creative, adventurous, outspoken or cute my children will probably try watching it.
3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video? That there is no limit to the number of viewers as my children myself and my husband have very different tastes in movies
4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family? The variety, the instant delivery and that the kids understand the difference between Prime (all inclusive) and Amazon video (purchase/rent)
5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them? Just add magic appealed to my daughters.
6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why? It's my main little luxury. We don't have a television, The cinema costs over £50 just to get in for the family so we tend to use Amazon for our visual entertainment needs. I really wish that Amazon had included Kindle Unlimited as part of the package too but I appreciate the free next day delivery of items that are included with Prime

The Secret Garden chosen by my twelve year old who has read the book. I
Liked sharing the story that we both had read with her. It's nice to feel those connections.

2. What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?
They choose a movie every Saturday night and watch it together in bed on an ipad. They both really look forward to it and love picking the film. They also watch My Little Pony over and over again. It has quite a cult following and the overriding messages are always so positive.

3. What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?
The ease. I love opening the app on my ipad and everything is right there. Within seconds I can have something playing.

5. Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
My daughters watch Friendship is Magic together. They love the stories and are always trying to predict what is going to happen. I like the overall message of kindness and tolerance.

6. Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?
It's pretty important. We use different aspects of Amazon a lot! My oldest dd and my dh use the music side of things a lot. I use Amazon a lot for my shopping. If I need a toilet roll holder like I did yesterday, then Amazon is certainly the first place I go.

  1. The last thing my child watched was Postman Pat Special Delivery Service. To me it's 'proper' kids TV like I used to watch rather than cartoons, which I like. He loves it because tractors and sheep feature heavily!

  1. He also loves Shaun the Sheep. There are loads of episodes available which is great because I can sit and watch them with him without it becoming too repetitive. The stories have plenty of comedy which we both enjoy. And again - lots of tractors and sheep!

  1. Ease of use. It's really simple the find things you want to watch and the variety of kids programmes is really good.

  1. Same as above really. There is also something for everyone; my husband and I have really enjoyed some Amazon Prime series too, such as Mr Robot.

  1. We watched Stinky and Dirty (show about diggers/trucks) which my son loved but we were disappointed to find there was only one episode!

  1. We originally bought Prime for the next day delivery and were surprised when it was combined with video streaming - the two products are very different - however it's worked out well because we actually use it all the time. We still buy a lot of goods on Amazon so Prime is very useful for us.

1 - Last watched Teen Titans. Just a fun thing to watch as a family which is important.
2 - What don't they like! Teen Titans has to be their fave though as it keeps their interest more than any other programme
3 - Price - I think you get a lot for the price they charge.
4 - Choice and variety. There is something there for the kids, the family and for us as adults.
5 - Just add magic they loved - ot too keen on Wishen but I think it was one of those days! They will watch it again no doubt and change their minds!
6 - Like others, the delivery is excellent. Prices still competitive and lots of choice.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?

The last thing we watched was a Scooby-doo film with WWE wrestlers in it, and being a child of the seventies I do love a bit of Scooby-doo.

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?

For my DD (7yo) I would say the movies- Turtle Tale, Scooby-doo, Atlantis. I think she gravitates towards movies because there doesn't seem to be many TV shows which are aimed at her age.

For my Ds (4yo) I would say Thomas, Go Diego Go, and anything Batman. He loves Thomas and could watch it forever and ever. And Batman is super cool with his friends at nursery. I have no idea why he likes Go Diego Go.

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

My favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video is the Amazon Fire Box and remote (am I saying that right?) it is so easy and simple to use. The 7yo can do it.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?

We don't really watch TV in the traditional sense anymore so an on demand service is much more suited to our lifestyle. Although I will say that I think the selection of free video has become increasingly mean over time.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

We haven't watched any of the shows listed above, but my children are strangely addicted to Creative Galaxy and my DS to that one episode of Stinky and Dirty.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

My DH is a bit of an Amazon Prime addict, certainly for the delivery convenience. This year I asked for something for my birthday that was not available from Amazon, oh, the Horror! We do enjoy the Prime Video and I do use the Kindle Lending Library on occasion. If anything, we would probably like to use it more, but are thwarted by issues with some of Amazon's products so sort out the memory issues with the Kid's Fire tablets

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?

TeenTitans. I actually like the theme tune!

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?

Shows like TeenTitans, which aren't available on terrestrial TV and old-skool films - we enjoyed the original version of the Parent Trap together the other day (and my daughter has watched it 3 times since...)!

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

I like being able to watch TV show box-sets. We're pretty busy and I can never consistently watch a good TV series - always end up missing several episodes and then give up on it. So I've been enjoying 'Catastrophe' recently, which I missed first time around. My husband liked i:Robot - he told everyone who would listen about that show... (I haven't watched it....)

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?

Convenience, no adverts, functionality on a range of devices such as our kindles, TV, laptop and even the TV; being able to use it even when we're travelling.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

We haven't watched any of these shows.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

I'm not really one for subscription packages, however I initially signed up for the 30-day trial in order to utilise the Prime Delivery over the Christmas period. Then I discovered the music streaming and being able to download music and the kids discovered the TV and videos.

It was great recently when we were travelling abroad long-term - we could sit in hotel rooms, airport lounges etc and enjoy time-out.

I also use prime next day delivery often for items like last minute birthday presents.

On the basis of all this, we have never cancelled the subscription and it now gets used almost every day! :-)

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?
Ds hasn't watched any of these. Fairly odd parents was discovered on Amazon Prime as was Danny Phantom.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why

I like it at Christmas.

One thing - no question about downsides? I don't like the mix of paid for and Prime movies, it puts pressure on me when browsing. I've also been surprised at the lack of availability of films I want to see - dead poets society, back to the future 2, good morning vietnam - none of those were free or available.

1.What was the last thing you watched with your kids on Amazon Prime Video and what did you like about it?

Lost in Oz. DS loved it, and I thought it was well made and fun. DS is not keen on having to wait for the next episodes!

2.What do your kids enjoy watching on Amazing Prime Video and why?

They like the original programs, but they also like watching the older shows that aren't available anywhere else. They both really liked Mysterious Cities of Gold, but it disappeared from Amazon Prime before they finished the series (something that has happened a few times - boo!)

3.What is your favourite thing about Amazon Prime Video?

I like the Amazon Original Series, and have just started Mr Robot which seems great.

4.What makes Amazon Prime Video appealing to you and your family?

The broad range of tv shows and films, and the portability if we are going away.

5.Tumbleleaf, Wishenpoof!, and Just Add Magic are Amazon Kids' originals available only on Amazon prime - which Amazon Prime Kids' shows have you/your kids watched and what did you/your kids like about them?

Lost in Oz - He really loved the story and is desperate for more, Jazz Duck - Both boys seemed to enjoy the music, Niko and the Sword of Light - DS (6) liked it, but I wasn't impressed.

6.Amazon Prime Video is one of many benefits included in Amazon Prime membership - how important is Amazon Prime membership to you and why?

I joined Prime for Christmas shopping, and have enjoyed the free, fast shipping. I do not think I would have joined without Prime Video though - I would have just bought less on Amazon instead.
