Here is what they’ve got to say: "Night-time is a busy time for your baby – and those precious hours of Golden Sleepsleep aren’t just important for their mood, but development, too! With experts believing that wetness may impact your little one’s sleep, their overnight nappy needs to work as hard as possible; introducing New Pampers Baby-Dry with 3 Absorbing Channels! Pampers are launching an upgrade to UK parents’ #1 nappy choice: New Pampers Baby-Dry feature a revolutionary nappy design with 3 Absorbing Channels, that distribute wetness more evenly, and Micro Pearls™ that lock it away. For up to 12 hours of Golden Sleep and less wet bulk in the morning! Pampers Baby-Dry have also been proven to be up to 2x drier than ordinary nappies; so, with babies waking up as dry in the morning as the night before you’ll be left asking 'where did the pee go?'"

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Baby - 7 weeks old, size 3 nappy.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
A soft, flexible nappy that provided adequate wear especially at night.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would. I have used other brands that, no matter what they say and what size i try, do leak. These nappies lasted 7 hours at night without a change and my baby's bottom didn't feel wet or look sore.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I would say they are better for night use as opposed to an active wear fit.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I didn't notice much difference in this case. A bulky wet nappy, is a bulky wet nappy.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them as they are softer and more flexible than other brands. They are fairly generous for their size. The one thing I did notice, whether it applies to others or not, is that there's a fairly strong chemical smell.

Belmo · 01/07/2016 11:21

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

8 weeks old, size 3

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Really good. Probably slightly unfair comparison as moved up a size too, but they were way better than the ones we were using previously. Contained all pee and, impressively, some totally spectacular poo!

Things I didn't like as much: the decoration - ones we were using before were plain white which I preferred (realise that is trivial!) and I don't like the chemically smell although I think that is all nappies.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Yep definitely - because it worked all night in spite of numerous night feeds!

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

Yes.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Yes - really surprised me the first time as I hadn't read the bumf! I liked it, there wasn't the squishy dangle that a morning nappy can have!

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Yes. Possibly price/offer dependant though.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes - because they keep baby dry all night!

  1. 8 months and size 4
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? They were far too small! Literally could only use them at night as too tight for daytime and for her to roll around etc. 3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? Yes they are absorbent but I found they smelt of urine and as mentioned before they were too small compared to other brands size 4 and so filled up a lot quicker. 4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?no I would say tesco have been the best I have seen so far. 5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? Nope didn't notice any difference to normal nappy. 6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?no 7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? No, as the sizing is small and I didn't notice any difference to supermarket brands

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. 10 months. 4+
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Very thin but other than that no unique selling points.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? No, the design means I kept putting them on backwards in the middle of the night. They smell funny, we had leaks and they were really tight on her even though she was no where near the top of the weight range.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? No
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? No.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? No.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not at all. I get 40+ Tesco nappies for £3.75 and they do feel very full in the morning which is why we wanted to try these, but there was no improvement and they seemed less comfortable as they were so tight. Didn't like the smell either.

(Mumsnet, I haven't got the survey link, can you send it please?)

My child is almost three,so I used Size5. My overall mpression was pleased. Good quality, and no leak in the night! I would recommend Pampers Baby-Dry for a good nights sleep,as they do seem to hold the wee for the entire night compared to other brands. I would say Pampers Baby Dry are the best nappy on the market for a ful nights sleep,as they do seem to lock away wee much better than any other brand. I did think the three absorbing channels were effective, yes. No leaks! I would buy Pampers Baby-Dry again, definitely. They are worth the extra money for no leaks! If it came up in conversation,I would definitely recommend Pampers Baby-Dry to other parents,as they are so reliable. one less thing to worry about when you taper busy with a young family!

NeedATrim · 02/07/2016 01:10

1 - My baby is fourteen weeks and we trialled the size three nappies.
2 - The picture detailing on the nappy is novel and the design is endearing. I've always thought of Pampers nappies as being a higher end brand of nappy. These new samples run in the same vien - a really soft, non rustling fabric feel and unbelievably lightweight and thin. One negative thought - the size three nappy is only marginally bigger than a size two. I made the comparison by sizing up a nappy from these new samples, to a Pampers Premium Protection nappy in a two - it really is only slightly bigger.
3 - I'd recommend them, sure. However, there are other brands of nappy which do offer great protection from leaks just as Pampers do, whilst selling at a lower price. Its really the latter that I'd realistically recommend first.
4 - Not sure with regards as to Pampers being 'the best', but they are reliable and function as a nappy should.
5 - I didn't notice much of a difference because my daughter sleeps on her front. I assume there's little opportunity for the channels to distribute the wetness evenly this way.
6 - I certainly would like to but I will only buy (and do only buy) Pampers when they are on a very good offer. Supermarket own branded nappies are really efficient and also competitively priced. Pampers aren't nearly as cost effective per nappy compared to cheaper brands offering the same protection which ultimately sways me to the cheaper options.
7 - I would recommend Pampers to other parents and carers if it was said that their child habitually leaked through their nappies during the night. Pampers are a premium quality nappy and I would assume they would offer the chance of a dryer night than other tried brands.

lsharpie74 · 02/07/2016 08:31

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
22 months and size 5

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Nice design and very slim

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry. My son normally leaks through our usual brand nappy in the night but he didn't with the new nappy and his skin was nice and dry.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, definitely the best nappy I have tried!!

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Definitely less bulky than usual nappy

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, I would buy to use at night but would stick to usual brand in day purely because of cost

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, they do exactly what they say and keep baby dry which is really important.
