Here is what they’ve got to say: "Night-time is a busy time for your baby – and those precious hours of Golden Sleepsleep aren’t just important for their mood, but development, too! 1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
She was just turning 2 and using size 5.
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Nice design and feel.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes! We have now gone to pampers instead of tescos own brand as we weren't getting a dry night always. Now she is dry at night :)
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes for sure
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes but it was still bulky, but I think because of the amount she drinks more than anything.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes, although I will stock up when it's on offer as it's quite expensive.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, because of the quality and absorbency

spethy31 · 27/06/2016 12:35

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Age 23 months, size 5 nappies

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They seem a lot thinner than my usual nappies (Aldi) and the elastic is softer. However they do seem to end up just, if not more, bulky when wet. I do worry a little about the amount of extra chemicals that allow for the thinner nappy.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
We never had any trouble with leaks from the nappy which is on from about 7pm - 7am. My daughter usual has a breastfeed at least twice during this time. I doubt she wakes due to wetness - and I noticed no difference between these nappies and my normal brand.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
No difference from my normal brand.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
No, in fact I would say the wetness bulk tended to be concentrated towards the front.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Only if they were on offer at a price similar to my normal brand.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, if they are willing to pay a premium, but no benefits over other brands I use.

WellTidy · 27/06/2016 13:16

It was still quite bulky but my baby was dry and seemed comfortable

Yea deffinetly

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
2 months - size 3
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
good quality - but looked big compared to size one nappies i've been using in the day, so seemed a bit bulky
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
yes - my daughter has already slept longer wearing them - not sure if it's a coincidence but worth carrying on
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
yes from what i've tried so far
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
we still change in the night as she feeds in the night still so it's hard to say, a nappy doesn't get chance to be overly bulky but as mentioned she has been sleeping a bit longer so perhaps she's more comfortable
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
yes
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes because i've also used them for my toddler and they seem to have fewest leaks

ritagcabrita · 27/06/2016 19:29

2 I loved these nappies!
3 Yes, I would recommend as they fit perfectly and keep my boy dry all night.
4 Yes, definitely.
5 I thought they were very efficient.
6 Yes, I like the quality.
7 Yes, I would recommend because I was very pleased with them.

snowymum12 · 27/06/2016 19:58
  1. 23 month old testing size 5 nappies.
  2. overall impression. Snug fit. Lightweight and nice colours. Overpowering chemical smell.
  3. The nappies did stay dry over night but no difference in absorbancy when compared to my previous supermarket brand.
  4. I would not say that Pampers is significantly better than other brands for a dry night's sleep.
  5. I did not notice that the wetness was more evenly distributed during the test when compared to my usual brand.
  6. I probably would not buy Pampers again as I did not like the smell. I also felt that they were more expensive than my regular brand.
  7. I probably would not recommend Pampers as they are more expensive and no more effective than my cheaper supermarket brand.
Bishybishybarnabee · 27/06/2016 20:32

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
15months, size 5

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

We were impressed with them. The fit was good and DS seemed to have a good amount of movement in then, no issues with leaks etc.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

We had no issues overnight, despite DS sleeping through most of the nights we used them and so I would recommend them for this reason.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

I'd say they work, other brands have also worked for us though so I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best, rather they are on or with others.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Yes, his nappy didn't seem as heavy and bulky in the mornings which did give the appearance of more comfort.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Probably not as they are significantly more expensive than our usual brand. Maybe for holidays or similar:
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend, but not over other, cheaper brands which do a comparable job.

Bishybishybarnabee · 27/06/2016 20:45

Has anyone else had issues with leaving a review on the Pamper's site? I can't get mine to submit, instead I get an error message saying 'too many 'redirects'.

flipflump · 27/06/2016 20:48

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. 8 months size 4
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? They were very slim and a great fit.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Most definitely, my baby slept 7-7 and didn't need changed before his morning feed. This is a first for him!
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? Definitely, we've tried many brands and he always leaks.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? My son normally needs changed first thing after 12 hours overnight or he leaks. with these new pampers I don't need to change him until after breakfast.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? I would, as they're most expensive than other brands I'll use them at night.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? I would definitely recommend them, they're expensive compared to other brands but worth the extra cost as baby is comfortable for 12+ hours.

LostInTheTriangle · 27/06/2016 21:15

Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received: 2yrs size 5.
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?: Good fit, seem comfortable, don't go bulgy or bunchy and the fit ensures they are leakproof.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?:
I would. They are absorbent without being bulky and absolutely leakproof. This is what you want from a nighttime nappy.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, I have only ever used Pampers on my daughter overnight.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I didn't - but she is potty training so the nappy wasn't being challenged as much as in the past.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes - often on promotion too.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why?
Yes, without doubt. They're absorbent, comfortable and leakproof.

confusedofengland · 27/06/2016 21:57

Bishy I've had the same issue. I emailed AnnMumsnet & she said not to worry as a few people have experienced the same thing. Probably worth mentioning to them, though, so that you can stay on the panel in future.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 28/06/2016 00:22

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Age 19 months and size 5 nappies.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

In general, I was impressed with the performance for how thin they were. But then I got 2 leaks at night, which is not the norm for what we usually use at night (Asda nappies).

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Probably not, as I seem to have more reliable results from my usual brand.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
No, afraid not. Though they are better than some brands.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
They were defo less bulky.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Probably not, though if I couldn't buy my usual brand for night time, I would get these as a 2nd choice.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I wouldn't be able to 100% recommend them, since there were some leaks. Though I did find them better than say Tesco nappies.

5 months, size 3

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Positive

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I would and I have because they have worked well and we no longer do a nighttime change using them. My daughter hates being changed in the night and would often wake up and cry so it's great to avoid that.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, though I've not tried any other nighttime brands to compare.

The nappies stil felt very bulky in the morning but this wasn't a problem.

Yes, I would buy them to use at night and use my cheaper supermarket nappies in the day.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, because it is a godsend to not have to deal with soggy sleeping bags and sheets in the morning after nappy leakage.

Steph25x · 28/06/2016 13:02

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
Age 19 months and nappy size 5.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Fantastic!! I found the new Pampers Baby Dry much more absorbent and slightly less bulky than other brands and I do notice a difference with the new Baby Dry nappies and the older design Pampers. I feel the new ones with the 3 absorbing channels helps to evenly distribute the pee better although occasionally it can look more full at the front of the nappy and be a bit uneven however it's not an issue and this was after a full nights sleep. They were a nice slim, comfortable fit on my little girl and we have experienced no leaks whatsoever using Pampers Baby Dry.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would highly recommed new Pampers Baby Dry as they are super absorbent and great quality. They kept my little girl dry for over 12 hours at bed time and we have not suffered any leaks.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes I do think they're the best nappy for a dry and comfortable nights sleep and I have purchased these nappies to use at bed times for my daughter as they really are super absorbent and evenly distribute the pee to keep my little one dry and comfortable all night.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
We still had a bulky nappy in the morning but this is to be expected after over 12 hours sleep. However I do feel they were less bulky than other nappies I have used in the past and they prevented any leaks.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes definitely! I have already bought a pack which I am using for bed times with my daughter.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would 100% recommed new Pampers Baby Dry as they are really absorbent, comfortable, have three absorbing channels to evenly distribute the pee and draw wetness away from your babies skin to keep them dry and comfortable all night long. They are superb quality and I love the unique smell that Pampers nappies have. Along with nice stretchy sides and a cute animal design they are a fantastic all rounder and do exactly what they say they do.

VikingLady · 28/06/2016 16:19

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
14 months, size 5

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Overall they were good - good size, held enough wee, didn't smell as bad as old Pampers

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes. they held a lot of wee - my DS is a super-soaker!

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
I can't say that - I've not tried all the others on the market.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Nope.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Depends very much on the price. They weren't sufficiently better than Boots own brand to justify paying almost double the price.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, because they were good for my super-soaker.

icclemunchy · 28/06/2016 17:29

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. shes 18 months and size 4

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? theres a very strong smell when you open the packet but this soon goes. They seem to fit much trimmer than my usual brand so i would prob size up

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? She didnt need changing in the night so i guess so

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?they kept her dry over night but so does her usual brand. I would prob agree if asked directly

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? there did seem to be less of the "nappy to her knees" that we get with other brands

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? My usual brand is cheaper but id certainly get them if on offer

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, they do what they say they'll do

Sammyislost · 28/06/2016 17:46

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
3 years old. We tested size 5.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Pretty good! Frustratingly, on the first night, something happened with the nappy and the bed got wet....but it hasn't happened since the first night.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, the nappy has great soaking abilities. He didn't seem bothered by wetness and wasn't desperate to remove the nappy in the morning. Although they are more expensive which is a factor for me.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

They are certainly worth paying more for if your current brand is letting you down,

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

The nappy didn't seem so big, although it was just as heavy I guess!

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

Only on offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would, especially if the parent had tried other brands that left baby feeling wet. The new absorbency has certainly improved.
