I tested the 50l bin liners.
Q1. What were your overall impressions of Visqueen Ultimate bin liners?
I thought they were excellent, good and strong and coped with whatever I put in them, especially heavy bags of nappies.
Q2. Are you generally satisfied or frustrated with typical bin liners that you use? How do Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compare to them?
Most bin liners I buy are extremely frustrating in that they tear easily and sag, making the journey from the kitchen bin to the green wheelie bin a bit of a hazardous one. I have discovered Tesco extra strong bin liners though, they seem to cope well but you can only seem to buy them in the big Tescos. The one thing I prefer with the Tesco ones is they come off the roll without needing to be torn, if that could be built into the visqueen model that would be great!
Q3. In terms of strength, how would you rate Visqueen Ultimate bin liners compared to other bin liners you have tried in the past?
Excellent. 10/10, best I've ever tried.
Q4. In future, how likely are you to consider purchasing Visqueen Ultimate bin liners if you were in need of bin bags?
Depending on the price, highly likely. I'd much rather have a bin bag you can guarantee will work.
Q5. If you are willing to purchase Visqueen Ultimate bin liners, how likely are you to consider purchasing them online (e.g. on Amazon)?
Again, this would be price dependant. If it worked out cheaper I might stock up. However bin liners seem to be something I suddenly realise I've run out if at the last minute so it would be better if I could buy them in a supermarket. Also, the big box they come in means they take up a vast amount of cupboard space compared with regular bin liners so this is something I'd have to bear in mind when stocking up.
Q6. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Visqueen Ultimate bin liners to friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
I absolutely would. It's so good to have a bin liner you just know will work and cope with whatever you throw at it.
