Mumsnetters needed to try the Miele WMH120WPS washing machine - worth £1,299! NOW CLOSED

Miele are looking for 10 Mumsnetters to test out their WMH120WPS washing machine.

Here’s what Miele say, "With Miele’s exclusive Quick PowerWash, you benefit from a full A-rated wash in under an hour, getting the laundry done in record time. Better still, this large-capacity machine manages this whilst boasting an A+++ energy rating and being quieter than other models in this range.
The clever TwinDos system, automatically dispenses either Miele detergents or your preferred brand of liquid detergent and fabric conditioner for up to three months between refills. The WMH 120 WPS determines the best moment to release these during the cycle, meaning that each wash is tailored to that particular load, for the best results each time."

Those selected will be sent a Miele WMH120WPS washing machine (RRP £1,299).

If selected, you'll be sent the Miele WMH120WPS to try for a few weeks and so long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the product.

If selected, you will be sent the Miele WMH120WPS in December, and asked to try it for two weeks. You will then need to try it and add feedback to a thread on Mumsnet. At the end of the testing period, we'd also like you to post a review on the Mumsnet review pages. In order to keep the product, you would need to add your feedback by the 25th January, so please only apply if you are able to do this.

5 of the 10 participants may also need to film a few videos. Those MNers will receive an additional year's supply of detergent as a thank you for filming.

If you’re interested in taking part please sign up here.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

I've applied too - 4 children and a soon to arrive puppy means a large % of my life is taken up with the washing in this house!!!

InFlagranteDelicto · 13/12/2014 08:03

Applied too, 4 kids, 2 dogs and lots of muddy walks/football strip means my laundry basket is often grim

NecesitoDormir · 13/12/2014 10:35

Just applied. With regards to the terms it states we need to leave feedback by XXX. Can you clarify what date XXX is meant to be? I can still provide feedback whatever the date.

Naughtyornicename · 13/12/2014 10:39

Um, do we need to send it back? Our current machine is in a awkward place and would be a pain to get in and out (and where would I keep it???).

Naughtyornicename · 13/12/2014 10:50

Ah, should've read it. Wow. Fab product test!

ShyPhilosopher · 13/12/2014 17:19

Just a quick question - the detergents this machine dispenses, are they available as non-bio? We have quite a few family members with sensitive skin.

Does look like an excellent product to test though - good luck everyone.

Millipedewithherfeetup · 13/12/2014 19:47

Pick meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee please !

Fairylea · 13/12/2014 19:53

Oh my gosh this would be amazing. Yes please!

springalong · 13/12/2014 20:09

I wont be applying. I bought a miele washing machine 18 months ago, based on reviews on here and elsewhere. I have holes in my clothes; 2 visits from miele engineers and I am about to book a 3rd. Their solution - use powder not liquid and add more water to the water cycles where you can (these are meant to be low water use machines). £720 - I thought it was a lifetime machine. I hope the trial is short enough that none of you get damaged clothes.

florencebabyjo · 14/12/2014 00:16

This sounds great and I love the idea of being able to fill up on detergent every couple of months. Perfect for mums with huge washing piles like me. Sometimes I feel like the girl in Rumpelstiltskin who has bigger and bigger piles of straw to spin into gold, except mine is washing and it doesn't often get any smaller, never turns into gold and I am definitely not a princess!

blanklook · 14/12/2014 02:36

Signed up, interested in trying some of the features if I'm selected.

DurhamDurham · 14/12/2014 10:03

This would be so much better than my crusty old Hotpoint. Fingers crossed!!

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 14/12/2014 10:33

Done and yes - as above couldn't pick both photos and videos

HollyJollyDillydolly · 14/12/2014 11:15

Photos or videos is fine with me but couldn't select both options :)

SarahSnail · 15/12/2014 18:18

Wouldn't let me select photos and videos but I am more than happy to do both :-)

Loupee · 15/12/2014 18:35

I'm in, fingers crossed, also happy to do photos as well as videos

Mabelface · 15/12/2014 18:40

I'd also be happy to do photos and videos.

ClaimedByMe · 15/12/2014 18:46

Done! Ive never had an expensive washing machine, this looks fantastic!

wheretoyougonow · 15/12/2014 18:57

This is a great product. Fingers (and toes!) crossed Grin

Crazybit · 15/12/2014 23:09

Ooh exciting promises made by Miele! Would love to give this one a go.

plinkyplonks · 15/12/2014 23:33

Applied :)

NoisyOyster · 16/12/2014 08:29

Oh goodness this couldn't come at a better time! My current machine is making what can only be described as "the clanks of impending doom". Usually when I have to get a load of sheets washed within the next couple of hours, putting the fear of God into me that it's going to finally clunk out just before the rinse cycle... Sad

Please please please please please

mummyplusbump · 16/12/2014 13:47

Just entered. I have a Bosch at the moment and access to a really old Miele. I would love to see how the newer Miele compares. I would be happy to provide timely, honest feedback including photos and video.

Monkeyblue2 · 16/12/2014 14:09

Just signed up. Please pick me!

Fillybuster · 16/12/2014 22:51

Gosh...how fab would that be?!
