Microsoft have asked us to find 10 Mumsnetters to test out Nokia Lumia 735, Xbox One Console with Kinect and a Linx tablet (total RRP ~£750).

Here’s what Microsoft’s marketing manager says, “As a marketing manager for Microsoft and mum of 2 boys, I know that things at home and at work can get pretty busy – especially this time of year with present buying, decorating the house, nativity play outfits, pantomimes……you know the rest :-). That is why we wanted to show you the collective power of some of these Microsoft products and how they can be used for the whole family. We would like to find families that can try out a Nokia Lumia phone, XBox One console and one of the new very affordable Linx tablets. All of these work together in a way that your family’s life can be fun and organised, productive and producing lots of laughs.”

This product test is open to UK Mumsnetters who have at least two children age between 5-15.

Testers will need to be available to attend an event in Victoria, London on Tuesday 16th December between 10-12:30 to learn how to get most out of all the products and how to use them together.

Testers will each receive:

  • Nokia Lumia 735
  • Xbox One Console with Kinect + 12 month Xbox Live subscription + Project Spark game
  • Linx tablet (7 will receive the 8" tablet and and 3 testers will receive the 10" tablet)

Testers will be required to add their feedback on the products on three separate feedback threads onsite. So long as you add feedback as required you will be able to keep the products.

Thanks and good luck

Still only three testers have commented on the thread, they've had almost a day now. Is it bad that I'm still hoping some of them can't make it (so us proper MN-obsessives can have a go)?

Me too spare this would have made my Christmas. But then I was lucky enough to be picked for the dishwasher a few weeks ago so can't really complain!

I'm reading that dishwasher thread with great interest. Dull, me!!

It's a luffly dishwasher. But then I've never had one before so any dishwasher would seem amazing to me. :)
I'm going to hide the Xbox feedback thread in case I get jealous Grin

InMySpareTime Unfortunately all the products have already been sent out to the selected testers. Sorry you missed out but do keep an eye open for future product tests you'd like to get involved in Smile

If you could have more awesome product tests like this one (even any one of the three things on this one would have made my family's Christmas) that'd be great.
I'm saddened that seven of the testers got hundreds of pounds worth of products but didn't even say thank you. I would have been embarrassingly grateful if you'd picked me...
