This is the feedback thread for the 15 testers who are trying on demand TV service YouView in their homes with their shiny new Humax DTR-T2000 set-top box worth £199.

Non tester - we always watch X factor together. We love getting our Jammies on and a wee treat to eat then snuggle up on the couch together watching the X factor.

1 Did you set up your YouView box yourself? If not, who did? Yes I did.
2 How easy did you find it to set up your YouView box? Very easy! Love the DLAN too, very helpful when the router is not near the TV.
3 How long did it take you to understand how to use YouView? Not long at all, it all seems very user friendly.
4 Has your child/children used YouView? How long did it take them to understand it and get used to it? Only watched alongside me, have not used it on their own.
5 Which programmes have you most enjoyed watching on YouView so far? I have used catch up the most so far, watched an episode of Our Girl from two weeks ago.
6 Which of the services have you most enjoyed so far? I'm enjoying being able to record series' it tells me how many it's downloaded for me.
7 Who in your family has used your YouView box the most? Me
8 What have you found YouView most useful for so far? Catching up on shows you've missed/ entertaining the kids/finding something to watch to pass time/ watching TV live/ listening to the radio/ search functionality / scrolling back 7 days on the programme guide / using the on demand players or the record functionality? I've found it useful for watching ondemand programmes in the living room as opposed to in my bedroom on the PC.

2 How easy did you find it to set up your YouView box? Must have been very easy - no swearing involved!
3 How long did it take you to understand how to use YouView? Immediate, very user friendly.
4 Has your child/children used YouView? How long did it take them to understand it and get used to it? DS is only 3 so I try to keep the remote out of reach, but he does understand and enjoy rewinding live TV!
5 Which programmes have you most enjoyed watching on YouView so far? Mostly watched live TV so far, but have used the rewind a day function which is great for she you "need" another episode of peppa pig in the mornings!
6 Which of the services have you most enjoyed so far? Pausing live TV and 7 day catchup

Non-tester here. We're Downton Abbey fans in the titchy household....well I say "we" but really it involves DD1 being in bed, DD2 snoozing on me whilst I watch and DH fetching drinks/snacks

A tv box you can record/pause is a must with small DC, makes me wonder how we ever coped without one!

non-tester, we love watching Doctor Who together. Sometimes it can be a bit scary for my son but he loves it anyway!

Non tester. Kung Fu Panda:Legends of Awesomeness & Penguins of Madagascar is essential after school viewing and In The Night Garden and The Bedtime Story on Cbeebies is adored by my youngest who toddles nicely off to bed when they've finished!!

Non-tester We always try to watch Strictly Come Dancing together. DD has ASD and it's her favourite programme. :)

Non-tester. We have quite an age range, so appropriateness and bedtime are a factor. You've Been Framed is a bit of a favourite- there's nothing like finishing a busy week and listening to them relaxed and giggling away at the videos.

We don't have many tv programmes we "enjoy" watching together as the DC are too little for Doctor Who and we're too old for Justin's house. However we all do seem to enjoy Myth Busters (mainly for the explosions)

DR WHO all the family love this we get a take away from the supermarket and some other treats. Even our baby gets excited when dr who begins

The one unmissable programme which brings us all together as a family is Gogglebox. Who knew that a programme about watching different families and friends watching tv would be so watchable!

Non tester. The main programmes we watch together are house building programmes like Grand Designs or Shed of the Year, and some of the funny bits from Top Gear. Doctor Who is apparently so scary my 6yo won't even try watching it.

We all love to watch Downton Abbey.

I'm a non tester - We always watch The Chase together because it's fab! (And my dd who is nearly 2 loves the chasers!)

I dont think there is one programme we all watch.i have started watching choccywoccydoodah and the children like to see the creations on there so will often watch

All of us watched Bake Off together. :) when the kids are asleep my husband's and my favourite tv-show at the moment is Dave Gorman's Modern Life is Goodish.

We always sit down to watch countryfile together. DD 18m loves to shout out the animal noises!

We love to snuggle in the settee and watch Modern Family.

DS (7) has recently discovered Dr Who and we love to watch that together on a Saturday night...or quite often on a Sunday if I think it's going to be a scary one so I can watch it first!

We always sit down together to watch Strictly. DH and I both do our knitting (!) and DS passes commentary on all the 'pitty dwesses' and sparkly colours. It's a really lovely, cosy way to spend our Saturday evening and we all look forward to it at the end of the week. Even the baby (still gestating) likes to join in, the music always seems to provoke a few extra wriggles :)

Non tester. We try and catch Rastamouse! My OH is Jamaican and ds is 2 so it's a nice gentle introduction to the other half of his heritage :)

Non tester - Countryfile. We all snuggle on the sofas to watch it after dinner on Sundays.
