Another non-tester - Dr. Who. Even if we can't make it on a Saturday night, we record it and all watch it together on Sunday evening. I think the only other one we all watched together once the DCs got older was Merlin, I do miss that.

1 Did you set up your YouView box yourself? If not, who did?

Me and DH did it. He plugged it all in and I tuned in the channels.

2 How easy did you find it to set up your YouView box?

Very easy.

3 How long did it take you to understand how to use YouView?

Still getting used to it as we're still running Sky as well.

4 Has your child/children used YouView? How long did it take them to understand it and get used to it?

Dd is 18 months and lives pressing the buttons on the remote as they click. She's managed to turn it on and off a few times!

5 Which programmes have you most enjoyed watching on YouView so far?

Peppa pig and Ben and holly for dd, bake off for me.

6 Which of the services have you most enjoyed so far?

The i players, especially milkshake with all the peppa and ben and holly episodes.

7 Who in your family has used your YouView box the most?

Me.

8 What have you found YouView most useful for so far? Catching up on shows you've missed/ entertaining the kids/finding something to watch to pass time/ watching TV live/ listening to the radio/ search functionality / scrolling back 7 days on the programme guide / using the on demand players or the record functionality?

Entertaining dd using the on demand players.

9 Have you used NOW TV or Sky Store to watch films?

Not yet but when sky is gone I think we will subscribe to NowTv as it looks good. Will be starting the free trial once our sky contract ends.

10 Did you try out the free YouView remote record app?

Yes, DH put it on the iPad so we can set things to record.

Non tester here.

Its really difficult to find a programme everyone likes but our favourite are Celebrity Pointless followed by Strictly. I am regretting introducing the children to Strictly as I can't hear a word of it!

Non Tester here - Gogglebox - it's one of the few programmes which me, DH and two teens can all happily watch together.
Mind you teens are also on their phones whilst 'watching tv' :-)

For the people who got a YouView box, what's the deal with the cable they said was needed to connect the box to the router? Have you literally had to trail a cable from one to the other? Just wondering because our router is nowhere near the TV.

As a non-tester, the only show we all watch together is Dr Who. Other than that we split into individual faction, me and dd1 watch Corrie together, me and both dds Monumental Mysteries, the dds together The Simpsons etc etc.

Young children here (3 and 1) but one program we have just started watching as a family is X factor (recorded and then replayed the next day, fast forwarding all but the actual singing) dd loves the songs on the live shows and giving her opinion on what she likes. Our first taste of 'family viewing' in the future.
