It is also a perfect ingredient for baking crunchy peanut butter cookies ? a delicious after school treat."

P.S. ... off the spoon! Shock

YoungBritishPissArtist · 21/09/2013 18:44

I prefer crunchy, but when I use it in milkshakes I prefer smooth. I always buy Whole Earth Grin

Punkatheart · 21/09/2013 19:46

It has to be crunchy. Every time.

CourjorH · 21/09/2013 21:03

None tester! We have both in the house because the people in our house that like it, like both!

Siri1 · 21/09/2013 22:22

Non tester
Smooth is just claggy & makes your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth. Crunchy rocks!

DoctorGilbertson · 22/09/2013 07:28

Non tester. I tend to buy on price rather than consistency. Local supplies therefore dictate that we usually eat crunchy and so on this basis crunchy is indeed our preference

newfashionedmum · 22/09/2013 17:17

crunchy!! smooth sticks to the roof of your mouth...

whattodoo · 22/09/2013 20:15

non tester.
Crunchy definitely, gives more interest and texture. Particularly if using it to cook with.

annelid · 23/09/2013 10:39

Non tester here - definitely crunchy in this house

glitch · 23/09/2013 12:37

I wasn't a tester, but it has to be crunchy, smooth is just so claggy and welds to the top of my mouth.

BlueMonday17 · 23/09/2013 21:56

Gotta be crunchy - adds texture in sarnies, on crackers, in satay sauce, cookies...[drools]

jessica789 · 23/09/2013 22:00

Non-tester here. I always buy crunchy - have it for breakfast every day. It's sods law that I end up with kids with peanut allergies!

CousinArnold · 23/09/2013 22:05

Non-tester here: I prefer crunchy as I like the texture better. I buy smooth for 2 year old DS though.

NotAFeminist · 24/09/2013 00:00

carlat86 peanut butter... with pickled onions??? how on earth did that come about? did your mum go through the cupboards and think hmmm, what could i possibly have with peanut butter today? lol #whateverfloatsyerboat ;) :P

LayMizzRarb · 24/09/2013 14:06

Not a tester, but have bought iut many times in the past. I prefer crunchy, and always mix a couple of large tablespoons in when I'm making a digestive biscuit base for key line pie, cheesecake etc.

bombaybaby45 · 24/09/2013 16:01

I love the crunchy peanut butter and so do my family. At one time, my boys would eat nothing but the crunchy, whole nut peanut butter from Whole Earth on coming home from school. I dislike smooth peanut butter as it is claggy and sticks round the teeth and gums, but the crunchy butter is delish!

bombaybaby45 · 24/09/2013 16:04

Oops! Sorry! I forgot to mention that I am not a tester. Here's a tip, though: ryvita, crunchy peanut butter and a dollop of sweet chutney. Bliss! Add a spring onion or two - double bliss . . .

JS06 · 25/09/2013 08:58

Non-Tester

Crunchy here - use it for stir fries and for sandwiches. It's a popular choice for a quick burst of flavour and very nutritious too.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 25/09/2013 11:46

Not a tester but wanted to say we love WholeEarth pb. I used to eat Sunpat cos the texture of WE was too stiff but in the past few yrs it has really improved and I adore the smooth. Never crunchy, never liked any crunchy pb.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 25/09/2013 11:48

Meant to say, you can really taste the huge amounts of sugar in other brands...yuck.

pussinwellyboots · 25/09/2013 14:54

Non tester - ds (3) is a complete peanut butter addict - I prefer to give him whole earth as it's full of good stuff and not rubbish! He prefers smooth although I prefer crunchy!

Blatherskite · 25/09/2013 17:24

I bought some but am not sure what the best thing to do with it is...?

On toast?

With jam in a sandwich? Which jam?

LindySfarne · 25/09/2013 17:48

I prefer smooth, dh prefers crunchy. I've recently discovered peanut butter with choc chips in it Grin

I do try and buy the non-sugar ones as I'm going a low GI diet.

Albiebee · 25/09/2013 17:57

Non-tester, crunchy all the way for us though. And we do love our Whole Earth with bits in!

SmokedMackerel · 25/09/2013 18:12

Crunchy every time! I love it on cinnamon and raisin toasted bagels.
