Here's what Mr Muscle say about the product: "Mr Muscle® Touch-Up Cleaner offers a fast and convenient solution to kill 99.99% of bacteria and to clean the most frequently used surfaces in the home. The inventive new design makes it easy to clean surfaces and kill bacteria; simply push down on the pump to apply the formula onto a cleaning material such as a paper towel, cleaning cloth or sponge. Then, just wipe the surface clean."

Below are a few questions we'd like you to answer but please feel free to add your own comments too. Please also let us know which Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner you're testing.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

It's arrived! I have the bathroom one. Am probably a bit too excited but have never even picked to test anything before! Will report back later. Initial impressions - intriguing - different - am not so sure about 'leaving it on display' I think it probably doesn't match the toothbrush stand too well!! Grin

The prize draw for this has already been made and a winner announced, seems a bit unfair when some of us can't leave feedback as we haven't received our tester yet!

Where has that been announced?

Haven't got mine either ! Think I will give up looking forward to trying it and if it turns up will be a bonus

Just got mine, nice packaging, haven't used it yet. My only reservation so far is that its eco credentials aren't as good as the stuff I normally buy and that I am nervous leaving it out as suggested with a toddler around. Will have to find it a space on a high shelf. Will be back to report again after use

Still not got mine, where are prize draw results. Not very fair.

Got the bathroom one this morning.
Easy to use
As effective as a damp cloth although on a thoroughly clean bathroom it might work better it just didn't make much of a diffence to my shower doors.
Mirrors and chrome came up nice and shiny.
Will use the product daily now and see how it goes as a touch up.
Wouldn't buy again at any price as my current product is more effective and cheaper.
Would like to try the kitchen one.
Liked the smell the bottle and the ease of use. I liked how its always handy for quick touch Ups.
I probably wouldn't recommend it at this stage no.
I'll continue to use it and leave more feedback later in the week.

Minding is right the winner has been announced. I thought the prize was for feedback on the thread and like others I haven't received mine yet. I can't see feedback from the winner on here though either unless it was a name changer. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/competitions/a1649816-Winners-corner-2013-Drop-by-and-see-if-you-have-won-anything-this-year

No sign of mine either and we are going away on Monday so no post now before we go.
Hopefully there will be a parcel waiting when we get back ?
Seems a shame some of us haven't been able to contribute before the winner was announced.
Oh well if it turns up now it's a little bonus :)

Bathroom and toilet. Received mine this morning-thanks. The product is very effective and has a nice, subtle fragrance, not overpowering. Tried it with kitchen roll, but it disintegrated a bit, so I used a microfibre cloth and it worked brilliantly. Cleaned surfaces quickly and well, left no streaks and a pleasant fragrance. The price seems about right and I would buy this product in future. The pump design is genius.

I received mine - the bathroom cleaner - this morning. Have friends over today and thoroughly cleaned baathroom yesterday so this was ideal for touching up.

It took me ages to get to grips with the pump dispenser, despite reading the instructions! Everyone else has found it easy so I must be very thick! I think the trouble was when I first tried it upright I hadn't covered the top enough so it spurted everywhere. I was then trying it upside down which really didn't work. I now have the hang of it!

I like the shape of the bottle. It falls over much less easily than other cleaners. But I don't find it particularly easier to use.

I like the fragrance. It's much less overpowering and chemically than some other cleaners and leaves a nice just cleaned smell. I liked that it worked quite well with loo roll. I wiped round the toilet and felt it had done a nice job on that. I was less impressed on the sink and bath. I tried to shine up the taps and it was OK but not significatly better than a damp cloth. It didn't particularly cut through soap scum on the taps. It was very good where my husband had splashed bits of shaving foam on the tiles above the sink, but a damp cloth does that too.

In the bath my daughter had died the ends of her hair blue and got the odd splash on the tiles. It didn't spot clean that at all and was no more effective than water. I had to get some cream cleaner on it which did it with no problem.

All in all, I wouldn't say it's effective enough for me to buy again. Though if the kitchen one was half price (no way would I pay £2.99) I might give that a try and I think it might be useful for the sides where it needs less actual cleaning but more bacteria killing.

I found that without gloves on it irritated my hands even though I washed them after using it. If I put gloves on I may as well clean properly.

So it was nice to try it but I don't feel it really does everything it claims. I'll stick to wipes or a cloth and warn water for quick jobs.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy - like the push down dispenser.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Left the sink and loo looking sparkly and clean. It did leave my mirror streaky though, despite mentioning it was suitable on the bottle.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes as it was convenient - used it every day when I saw some smears/grub.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I normally shop in Aldi/lidl and I don't think they stock it, but if they did I would consider it.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

Child height surfaces that get covered in sticky fingerprints - tv/windowsill etc. Places that often need dusting or wiping, so perhaps a 'polish' type touch up?

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Ease of use, nice smell, bottle looked discreet in the bathroom.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I think so!

I received the bathroom cleaner a few days ago.

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

I thought this was the premium feature of the product - you can use it one handed if you need to! Pop your cloth or tissue over the pump and push down - ace. I thought it was very cleverly designed to prevent spilling any product.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I am finding it effective, it gets toothpaste off the sink without any scrubbing! I wasn't sure about the smell to start with, as you first dispense it it has that very chemically smell, but it only lasts a few seconds. Perhaps Mr Muscle will bring out different scents, I would like a lemony one!

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Because it is very easy to use, and a bit of a novelty at the mo, I am using it a lot more often than I would get out the bathroom spray or wipes. It is right there on the bath, so I am a lot more likely to give the sink a wipe when I am using the bathroom.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I think if it was 1.99, I would use it all the time. £3 is a lot more than I would pay for my usual bathroom spray cleaner. It is a great product though, I would consider it if I was feeling rich!

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I am going to buy the kitchen cleaner and try that as well, as again, it is very easy and with a baby on the way I think something you can do one handed is more likely to get done! I don't think it lends itself to other areas of our house, unless you made a polish version for the living room!

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I really like the way it dispenses the product. I think anyone trying this would find it really easy to use, very quick and no mess. I was impressed with the thought that had gone in to the design.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

I would recommend it yes, I am pretty sure my step mum will ask about it when she is round as it is out in the bathroom!

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy to use, one handed with a cloth or some tissue.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very effective, cleaned well.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Yes, I have left it in the bathroom to use as and when.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

That is too expensive for me to want to buy it. I tend to buy what's on offer though.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

No, I think two bottles is enough and can't think where else it would be handy.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I liked the pump design and the bottle-nice and compact.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend it, if it came up.
