Kitchen cleaner:

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
easy
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
very effective
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
yes - lots of times a day to clean kitchen surfaces
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
a bit pricey - but it was so good that I might buy it again
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
floors - streak free would be lovely - and some sort of direct to floor spray a glass cleaner for windows/glass doors that was streak free
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
my current cleaner leaves streaks on my granite worktops and I have to touch up with a granite cleaner - no streaks with Mr Muscle - hooray. like the pump dispenser as I don't have to carry the cleaner and cloth around with me. I also had a go at my gloss kitchen units and it cleaned all the fingerprints off leaving no residue or streaks.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
I'd recommend it to anyone with gloss units or granite surfaces

So I'm not the only one who hasn't received it yet and I was hoping to give it a good test drive on a bank holiday cleaning spree. Ah well hopefully it will arrive soon.

florencebabyjo · 25/08/2013 21:19

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use? It was easy to use when I got the hang of it but the first few goes it spurted everywhere and I had to be careful to cover the bowl with the cloth or tissue to avoid spills.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? Very effective and smelt lovely and fresh.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? I did use it more as it was small enough to leave out and so it was handier for quick clean up jobs than larger bottles so I tended to clean there and then instead of putting it off..
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not? It is quite pricey for a small bottle but I would like to see refills, maybe in collapsible bags for around a pound less.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas? It would be nice to have a leather one for sofas and maybe one to be used in the lounge for general surfaces, maybe in a spicy/orangey scent
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? I liked the ease of use once I got the hang of it and that it didn't look like a cleaning bottle, but was similar to a room scenter and so could be left out.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not? Yes, , I already have!

I'm really enjoying using my Mr Muscle Touch Up Cleaner in my bathroom. It's surprisingly effective and easy to use. I must admit, when I saw the container of cleaner I wasn't sure whether it would work but it is really easy. I keep a roll of kitchen paper up in the bathroom and then, when I'm up there, press a pad of paper onto the touch up spray and give my surfaces a quick wipe after the bathroom's been used. The spray smells quite delicate so not overpowering (unlike other bathroom cleaners) and brings my sink and bath up lovely and shiny. I also use it to wipe over my mirror and it works well there too. I am finding that I use the spray several times a day as it's less hassle than normal cleaning so the claims that it stops bathroom cleaning becoming a big deal are completely true as it just takes a quick wipe to get great results.
The price is pretty average for cleaning products. I probably would buy it again as it works and actually doesn't take up as much space in the bathroom as my usual cleaner so another added benefit.
I think that it would be useful to have a smaller sized bottle for use out and about. I was at a local visitor centre and could really have done with my bottle to wipe off the high chair so that might be another use for the product.
I think I like the convenience of the product most. I haven't used the kitchen version but, personally, I think that I would use it even more than the bathroom version as I'm forever wiping my kitchen surfaces.
I would certainly recommend the product as it is effective, takes up minimal space, smells lovely and kills bacteria...what more could you ask for from a cleaning product!

lyndseyh78 · 26/08/2013 08:16

I still haven't received mine yet!

Anusia86 · 26/08/2013 09:41

Love it, do everything it says, easy to use. Great that can use paper towel or cloth. Not expensive at all. Also very effective. Nicely packed, very different to other products. Definitely would recommend.

IsotopeMe · 26/08/2013 10:06

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use? Very, it was even easier as you don't need a cloth, just grab a tissue or toilet paper or whatever is handy, making it super quick.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? Very effective and smelt lovely.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? I used it more as it was so little convenient.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not? Yes, probably , but would prefer refills as a pp said.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas? I think those two are ok, but I would put a few around the house as well to save me having to grab it from upstairs bathroom.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? I liked that it is so easy and it fits in well with the flylady swish and swipe routine!!
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not? Yes, I have already raved about it to my friends! Blush
lorka · 26/08/2013 10:24

Looking forward to receiving mine. Grin

wigglebumsmum · 26/08/2013 10:33

This product was incredibly easy to use . The packing was really well thought out- it doesn't instantly look alike a cleaning product and therefore I am happy for it to sit out on my bathroom shelf which makes it even easy to use!
So far it seeems to be very effective. I think partly because I am cleaning more! As it is there I use it every day to clean the sink/toilet/bath area.
£2.99 seems a fair price- the only issue I can forsee it that as I am using it far more than my regular cleaner it could work out more expensive in the long run. Are there any plans for refills?
I loved the fact that it is sitting out in the bathroom as usually I hide products away and this does make it so much more practical to use.The scent it nice too.
I am definitely going to add the kitchen version to my shopping list.I will recommend it to friends and family but I will be keeping an eye on how much of it I end up using as the bottle does seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate!

feelthis · 26/08/2013 10:58

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use? Started off by turning it upside down [blush[ but read then read the packet and realised I didn't have to. Takes a bit of getting used to not seeing how much product you are using as it goes straight on cloth

How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I have the bathroom one - it is good but as other posters have said not great on mirrors.

Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner? Yes, have used every couple of day since it arrived - a quick clean of the toilet with toilet paper mainly. It helps that the bottle is small, fairly innocuous and sits on the window sill next to the loo!

The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not? It is too much - I am a fruggle shopper and tend to try and spend a £1/ £1.50 on my cleaning products, so pick them up when they are on offer. The bottle is small - I've only had a few days, first day I did a full bathroom clean and half is gone already.

Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas? The dispense method would work well for a liquid furniture cleaner/ polish.

What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
I like the smell and the fact you can have the bottle sitting out and it isn't too ugly.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not? Honestly, probably not, I can't ever envisage me have a convesation about bathroom cleaner - most of my friends have cleaners anyway!!

missorinoco · 26/08/2013 17:49

I received the bathroom and toilet cleaner. Thanks.

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Easy. Turn the dial and squeeze.
The only issue was that when I used it with a dark absorbent cloth I couldn't see how much was on the cloth. Ideal for using with loo roll or kitchen towel though.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very effective. The bathroom sparkled.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It's a little early to say, but I would be inclined to put it in the bathroom and zap it when needed. Small boys with a bad aim....
In which case more often than other cleaning products. Whether this pans out is another matter.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

I am inclined to wait and see how long the bottle lasts. It it is long lasting, yes, it's handy. if not, only when on offer.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

Carpet cleaner.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I like the fact I can spray it on any cloth and use it quickly. Obviously there is nothing to stop me doing that with any product, and I own those easy cloths that in theory mean I don't need extra product, but the company has found a hole in the market and plugged it neatly. The power of suggestion.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes, but if my conversation came around to bathroom cleaner I would be sorely disappointed.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 26/08/2013 18:50

No sign of mine yet.

Glitterfairys · 26/08/2013 18:58

I haven't received mine yet .

MaisieJaine · 26/08/2013 19:51

Now that I've had the cleaner for over a week, I've found I've used it more in the kitchen rather than the bathroom. Having a bottle in each room would sort that, I reckon, though!

Sparrowfarts · 26/08/2013 20:18

I received the bathroom cleaner on Saturday. I gave a small, tiled en-suite shower room a good clean with it yesterday using a microfibre cloth. The result was good, all surfaces nice and clean, but perhaps no more so than when using my usual cheap spray-on cleaner. I had no idea how much I was using until I shook the bottle after I'd finished - half the bottle gone.

I like the design of the bottle, but would want to use it with refills. The smell is mild and inoffensive - most cleaners are awful.

It's not a bad product, but the way the liquid is dispensed out and the very notion of a touch-up cleaner seem designed to encourage you to use more than you really need.

I would probably only buy it if on offer.

Crazybit · 26/08/2013 21:44

How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Seemed to work ok but I do like to use a spray bottle to spray on for a couple of minutes to sock in for a while but I guess it's called 'touch up' as it isn't for major cleaning.

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I used it every day for wiping the sink. Yes I probably used in in place of my usual cleaner for some things.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

Probably not at that price but yes if it was on offer.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I got the bathroom one but I wish I'd got the kitchen one, would be perfect for doing the high chair after meal times.

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

Very easy to use after rinsing the cloth, just stick it on one handed.

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

Yes I should think so, it's a novelty!

BATHROOM

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?
I found it really easy to use, you just unscrew the top a little and it opens up the dispenser. You then use a sponge, paper towel or whatever you want and place it on top, pushing down to dispense a shot of cleaning solution. I did find that when I didn?t cover it up fully it squirted across the room, but soon learnt from my mistake!
  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Very effective. I used it on ceramic sink and toilet - it cleaned up grime and limescale really well. I used it on the mirror and glass shelves where it left them streak free without having to polish off. I tried it on some dirty grout however it wasn?t effective on that.
  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
Yes as I can use it on the mirror and glass as well, meaning I don?t have to have two products out. Also it doesn?t have a strong smell to it so it doesn?t leave my hands smelling like bathroom cleaner! I feel like I am not wasting anything as it dispenses just the right amount of solution.
  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?
Yes I would like to try the kitchen cleaner as I tend to have more areas where I would need a touch up cleaner ? more spillages etc in the kitchen. I would like to see the product refillable as it seems a shame to have to throw away the dispenser.
  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?
A carpet cleaner version would be great.
  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?
The design looks good, no strong smell & you don?t feel like you are wasting any solution.
  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?
Yes
ouryve · 27/08/2013 10:32

I only found out i was a tester, last Friday and i received mine on Saturday - with insufficient postage! Thankfully we didn't have to pay the excess!

  • How easy or difficult did you find the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to use?

Very easy. It's simpler to use than sprays, which can be messy. I'd like to see how it performs when the bottle is almost empty, mind.

  • How effective did you find Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I usually grab a bathroom wipe for a quick clean up. This seems to clean up better. I notice it has lactic acid in, which hopefully will help with the limescale spots I get a lot of. It brought my bathroom mirror up nice and streak free (though the suggestion to use toilet paper doesn't work that well, sicne my mirror is now covered with fluffy bits - toilet paper would probably work better for the loo seat, though.)

  • Did you find that you used Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner more regularly than your other cleaning products or not? If so, how often did you use Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

I'm more inclined to use it than a bottle of spray. It would probably be used whenever I'd normally use a wipe.

  • The RRP for the Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner is £2.99, do you think you'll be likely to buy it again or not? If so, why? If not why not?

It depends how long it lasts. If it's all gone in a month, then it wouldn't seem very good value.

  • Mr Muscle Touch-Up cleaner is currently available for the kitchen and bathroom. Would you like Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner for other areas of your house? If so, which areas?

I currently have a Mr Muscle spray in my kitchen, but I would try the touch up cleaner when that runs out (probably in a year, since I only use it for greasy or really sticky patches)

  • What did you like most about Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner?

It doesn't irritate my chest like sprays do and it smells really nice - like parma violets!

  • If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Mr Muscle Touch-Up Cleaner to your friends/family? If so why? If not, why not?

It's not the sort of conversation i tend to have but it's possible.

MummyBtothree · 27/08/2013 10:33

Well, still haven't received my product and now having serious doubts that I'm going to!! :(

ouryve · 27/08/2013 10:40

Just to add - as someone who sometimes has problems with hand mobility, the applicator is a brilliant idea. I probably would recommend it on those grounds.

reluctantironer · 27/08/2013 11:53

Still not received mine either Sad

snorris · 27/08/2013 12:28

I'm still hoping mine will arrive as nearly all the reviews are for the bathroom cleaner. Maybe we'll get the kitchen one.

mummylin2495 · 27/08/2013 12:29

Not received here yet either. Think il give up expecting it now.

PrincessYoni · 27/08/2013 13:51

I have not received mine either. It's a shame as its my first product testing.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/08/2013 13:56

I have given up hope now. I thought it may have been held up by the bank holiday, but now I just think it isn't coming.
