Great product loved the stick to keep used nappy together. Very easy to get on and off my wriggly son. Will be and have recommended to friends and will be purchasing more in the future 😃

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

What I really like about them is how soft and thin they are. DD liked the design.
Yes I would use them again, but would wai til they were on offer before buying!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, very

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Yes, cheaper ones tend to be quite stiff with a great big wedge between the legs, not really like pants at all

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, for the reasons above - softness and comfort

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are a bit pricey, what really annoys me is why they are so much more expensive than nappies the same size?

Thank you for letting me test them :)

Timpani · 01/08/2013 10:31

DS is 16 months and we tried Size 4s (he's only 17lb!).

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked the pants. They helped make nappy changes easy and convenient. I would definitely use them again but probably not until we're potty training. My son would have preferred In the night garden characters I think!!

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

They were easy to use, easy to get on and off and my little boy liked to help pull them up. Useful sticker to roll them up on the back.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of yourchildren? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
This was the first product of its type that I tried.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I most certainly would. They were easy, comfortable for my toddler too.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do think they are a little expensive and I would possibly try to find cheaper alternatives. We tend to by supermarket own brand nappies and have had lots of success with them. But if there wasn't an own brand or a good quality alternative available then I would definitely use them again.

awanka28 · 01/08/2013 10:34

we just finished testing, we are very happy my daughter really liked it because you can easily remove and go to the toilet. I highly recommend

Katieat85 · 01/08/2013 10:56

I tested size 5 with my son who has just turned three.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were a nice design (my son preferred the animals on the back over the Dora characters though) They were good for going on long journeys where you can't always find a loo on time so could hold the odd accident. I would use them again I was pleased with their results.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

My son could pull them up and down easily. The only flaw was folding them up. Sometimes I found the sticky tab had stuck to his clothes so had lost its ability to keep the nappy closed after use.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I used huggies pull ups with my eldest son but I found them to rustle a lot and had a sort of plastic feel. These felt much nicer in comparison. They also had better absorbency.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes. They are practical and reliable.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Yes. I think you get what you pay for. I am prepared to pay slightly more if I know I'm getting a product that works well.

Betzlikemetz · 01/08/2013 11:20

My daughter is 2 years and we trailed size 5.
Q1 the design was good but I wouldn't use them again. They are far too expensive and I feel they confused my daughter while potty training. Plus you have to take her trousers completely off to change her.

Q2 Not really, more hassle changing them then other normal nappies.
Q3 No I haven't so cant compare.
Q4 I don't think I would as I found it confused my daughter. It has been easier with her to use normal nappies and just pants to potty train.
Q5 Not at all, very expensive. 9p a nappy is what I will normally pay.

Katypitt · 01/08/2013 11:42

Q1. The overall impression was good. If I am unable to find an cheaper alternative then I will continue to use Pampers.

Q2. They were easy to use and I opt for pull ups as I have a very active daughter who will not stay still for nappy changing.

Q3. Yes, I have. I used Morrisons own brand and they were not great.

Q4. I would defiantly recommend them.

Q5. They are quite expensive compared to other brands. Although I like Pampers a lot, we are very short on money so will continue to try and find an alternative that is as good but slightly cheaper.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 01/08/2013 11:50

My DD is 2.4 yo and we trialled size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I didn't use it as part of potty training per se. I think it confuses the child. But my DD is very strong willed and wouldn't put on a nappy during the day. So the pull ups are a great compromise on holiday and long trips. I felt they are very expensive for everyday use.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, it's very convenient and very easy to use.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Other than the huggies little swimmers, these are the only pull ups I've used. So there isn't anything to compare with.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes if they are potty training a very strong willed child, and want nappies for those long car journeys or plane flights.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are expensive compared with normal nappies. I've always used Pampers. I try to use these pull ups as little as possible.

Julietam74 · 01/08/2013 11:59

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Maybe. It is not really good - leaking. Very thick, didn't look much like pants.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, it is convenient and easy to use.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Yes, I have try huggies before, I find it better. It is not that thick and easy to open to change. easy for my daughter to pull up and down.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

don't know... it is personal. and I think didn't stage would feel different. Maybe because my baby just start the training, so the pampers is not good on this stage. (not easy to open, leaking etc.) However, maybe after a month it is ok.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

yes... it is ok. Because on this stage it don't use too much nappies.

cincotart · 01/08/2013 12:18

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They're very convenient and help out with toddler nappy change strops as easier to coax my son into them. I found they're not as good as containing leaks as his normal nappies so definitely need changing more often - however definitely better than the other pull ups I've tried. I think I'll probably buy and just use them as a back up when needed due to difficult nappy changes, rather than as a regular nappy.

This could all change when we're potty training, of course. We're a way off that at the moment.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Very, easy to get on (although not so much on high changing tables in public places) and very easy to take off.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Have tried supermarket own brand pull ups - absolutely useless. He may as well have not been wearing a nappy with how much they leaked.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, from experience they seem to be the best. I haven't tried Huggies as found there nappies useless when my son was younger.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think they are expensive but will buy them when on offer (as I generally have done with all nappies).

Thanks for the trial pack!

Clarky365 · 01/08/2013 12:54

Trying size 5 with my 17 mth DD
Overall I was a bit nonplussed. Won't be switching at this stage. They just seemed to have a really low capacity and were hanging round DDs knees after 1 wee.
Were easier to change - DD found them utterly fascinating so may try again when potty training.
Don't think I would recommend as they are more expensive and hold less!

Schmaffy · 01/08/2013 13:38

DS is 2 and we trialled size 5. They were fine but I have since bought size 4 and found them a better fit.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I liked the nappies a lot, particularly how flat they are for storage and that they still hold as much liquid as other pampers. I would definitely use them again, probably in conjunction with active fit to give me a choice. We haven't started potty training yet so I can't comment on that.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, they were very convenient and this was their greatest selling point. They were so easy to change when just wet as my lo could stand and step in - great in holiday at the beach or when out and about or when he's so busy playing he doesn't want to lie down etc etc. I also liked the fact that they don't sag like other nappies when full. I normally need to put my ds in a vest to keep everything in place but these were a good, snug fit - great in this hot weather when you need as few layers as possible.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No, I haven't used anything similar.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I would recommend them, especially for taking out and about in the nappy bag. However, due to the cost I wouldn't have these as my only 'day' nappy (we use baby dry at night) but instead use them in combination with active fit.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are reasonable value for money but would look for them on offer or trial similar brands before committing as they seem just that bit more again.

lunar1 · 01/08/2013 13:52

Just used the last of the easy-up pants yesterdsy. I trialed the size 4 nappied for ds2 who turned 2 during the trial.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I like the pampers easy up pants and will defenitly be using them again, in fact i have picked up a couple of packets for when i try toilet training take 2!

He loved the designs especially the stars and animals on the back. he also kept repeating pants mummy, just like DS1.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, they fitted very well and DS2 enjoyed pulling them up and down, and up and down! the nappy kept its shape well even with him messing with them for the first few days. I love the fact that they are easy to rip down the sides if needed.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

no, i only ever use pampers.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

yes, they are easy to use even my 2 year old can pull them up and down himself. They are very soft on the skin and we have never had any irritation from them. They are not too bulky and are a great way to get children used to the idea of pants if they are not quite ready to go without nappies.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I always buy pampers and am happy with the price. I am glad that i wont need to use nappies much longer though, the packs seem to keep getting slightly smaller while the price creeps up and i do wonder how far pampers will push it. I think i would probably look into the options if I planned any more children and i say this as someone who has only used pampers for almost 5 years in total.

I applied for this trial as i thought i might as well have mu first attempt at toilet training for ds2. we had some success in that it got him used to pulling his things up and down, and he would follow his brother to the toilet and sit on it after him. he even managed a few wees in the toilet.

Ill give it a month and try again!

cherrylolly · 01/08/2013 13:59

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Liked them and would use again. Would prefer a non character design though.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Easy to use when able to strip off totally but prefer nappies when in a situation when this i.s not possible
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Not used any similar nappies before.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes would recommend as they are good quality and no leaking.
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Fair value for money, would probably use when my little boy is a bit older.

vickywilkinson · 01/08/2013 16:40

my lb is 23 months
q1 we really enjoyed the easy ups and would defo use them again as my lb loved the design on them and he didn't come out in a rash like he did with others.
q2. I felt they were convenient and easy to use.
q3. I used an own brand and my lb came out in a rash with them.
q4. yes I would because they were very good for my lb.
q5. I think they are good value

tigermummy35 · 01/08/2013 16:45

Please state the age of your child and the size of Easy Up Pants you
were trying in your response.
Age 2 years 8 months - Size 6

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Great absorbency, no leaks whatsoever (unlike previous version) fit really well round the legs and nice and soft. Probably only likely to use them as an overnight nappy when DS is potty trained.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

I'm not really a fan of pull-ups to be honest. I'm lazy and like to leave shoes and trousers/shorts on when doing nappy changes, and you can't do that with pull-ups.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Haven't tried others.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, if they are fans of pull-ups. No if they, like me, find side-tape nappies more practical.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are more expensive than any other nappy on the market. But, you get what you pay for. Great product, reliable and comfortable to wear.

micmic1830 · 01/08/2013 18:33

I love Pampers very reliable, no leaks and soft and comfy for my baby too :) Only just started trying pull ups but seem fab so far.

micmic1830 · 01/08/2013 18:37

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely would use again, love pampers for my lb 9 months, he wears size 4 nappies/pull ups

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes very easy to use

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No not tries before but with nappies in general Pampers are always my preferred choice,

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes definitely would.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

i think they are ok on value but would always buy lots when on promotion to make them even better value.

sarahlfitzjohn · 01/08/2013 20:46

Q.1. Yes I would definately use them again, love pampers they are a better brand than all the rest I tried the easy up pants size 6 for my two year old. He seemed to like them so will definately be buying them again.
Q.2. Yes i found them easy to use my son loved them
Q.3. Used Huggies pull ups before and the pampers ones are a better fit, would like more boyish pictures on them though. We received dora ones.
Q.4. Yes definately would reccomend pampers to other parents
Q.5. I think that they are not badly priced, but if you can get them on offer I stock up then so I've got enough to carry me over.

RedKites · 01/08/2013 22:34

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not? Overall they are fine, although I am still not absolutely convinced of the value of pull ups for a pre-potty-trained child (friends use them for their potty trained children for naps/night time, and I can see the point there). We have had some leaks, not helped by the fact that DS1 has discovered the tape on the back, and sometimes pulls at it.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not? I think they are convenient and easy to put on and off, although the leaks I mentioned were less convenient.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? Yes, I've been using pull ups with DS1 for a little while. The idea was that it would make it easier to randomly sit him on the potty/toilet during the day, although in practice, he seems to be less keen now. I slightly preferred the other brand I tried, the fit seemed a bit better on DS1.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? I would recommend them in certain limited circumstances as mentioned above, but I don't think I'd suggest pull ups in general for potty training. I'm only continuing to use them with DS1 because I think it would feel quite negative to him to go back to nappies now.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? I find pull ups expensive compared to nappies. Having said that, as Easy up pants seem to be on special offer more often than the other brand I've used, they do seem to be better value for money than them.

KatherinaMinola · 02/08/2013 00:29

I tried size 5 on DD aged 3.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I liked them. First impression was that they were rather too brief a cut compared to normal Pampers, but they didn't leak (and they were tested by a couple of splatty poos).

As others have said, I thought they did sit better than normal nappies under clothes, especially shorts.

DD seemed to find the pull-ups fun and worrying in equal measure. She had not started using the potty when we began the trial but did start using it while we were using the pull-ups (I don't know whether to attribute any of that to the pull-ups).

I've never seen Dora and I don't normally like licensed characters but I did like this design - particularly nice to see non-White characters on a generic product. DD really liked the designs too. I don't think I'd buy these unless they were heavily discounted though - they're out of my price range.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, perhaps - because perhaps they did encourage DD to use the potty - and for all the reasons I've mentioned above. But I would mention the price too.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

No, they're too expensive for the kind of heavy use they'd get in this house - maybe OK with a potty-trained child.

Really glad we got to test these - thanks!

BarbaraWoodlouse · 02/08/2013 08:22

Tried these as a part of an effort to toilet train my reluctant 3 yo DS.

As a loyal pampers user for 6.5 cumulative (the first sample from a rival brand that I used 7 years ago leaked and that was that) so if I was going to use pull ups Pampers was the obvious choice. That said as I was waiting for this pack to arrive I did buy some rival brand pull us as they were on offer and featured Cars characters.

I'd love to feed back in these properly but for the last3 weeks DS has categorically refused to wear them as "I want Lightning McQueen!!!" Confused

From a visual inspection Pampers seem more "nappy like" and have a more papery/rustley quality. This also seems to mean they have more padding so I'd before inclined to trust them overnight.

Just this morning I snuck a pair on DS (ave slim hipped 3 year old) and they fit well. They do look like a nappy vs Big Boy Pants though.

Update: He's just noticed what he's wearing and has torn them off (positive: easy for child to remove, negative: I need to get this done before there is an accident on the rug!)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Typical pampers quality feel. Definitely nappy not pant-substitute
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes easy to get on and off
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
As above, style of Huggies much more pant like and you can't compete with Lighting McQueen (sorry Dora).
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Would prob recommend for overnight pull ups
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive relative to nappies but so are the rival brand. Per nappy they are maybe cheaper but larger pack size means they can be perceived as pricier. Would definitely be more likely to consider if on offer.

hazelnutlatte · 02/08/2013 12:34

Tried these for dd aged 22 months, size 5

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think they were very convenient, much easier to get on than normal nappies. They were as absorbent and leak proof as the nappies we usually use, so would be happy to use them all the time, including overnight. I'm not really a fan of branded characters on nappies and would prefer something more generic.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes they were very easy to use. I hadn't tried pull ups before so was impressed. They do make nappy changes much easier when you have a toddler doesn't want to lie down on the change mat! I also liked that you could rip them at the sides to take them off if you needed to.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No, haven't used others before.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I'd recommend

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are quite expensive so I wouldn't use them all the time. They are handy for out and about though, and I might also buy them for when we start potty training properly.

cescacheese · 02/08/2013 14:00

My daughter is 2.6 years, and tried size 6 pullups (our usual size)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

I use these regularly anyway, so am very used to them - would (& will!) use again in future.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Very convenient, although they don't have side velcro type strips like the Huggies do, which means more fuss taking them on and off. You obv have to take their trousers / tights off completely to change, rather than just pull them down. Taking things off completely ususally involves them lying flat on their backs while you do it....which my wriggly 2 yr old does not like much.

Also - I NEVER use any brand of pullup pants at night. I always switch back to Pampers regular ones (sorry, the green ones....I can't remember the name despite having been a nappy purchaser for the past 7 years!!). I just dont trust pullup pants in the night - the fit is not as tight and snug as a regular nappy, and I've had a couple of leaks in the night with pullups with my older child.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Yes, Huggies (see above) plus have recently tried Tesco own brand. I wouldn't use again as they seem stiffer and not as soft. she had no complaints with the tesco ones when I used them, but my perception was that they just felt cheaper and not as good quality.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Er, yes if it came up.....I wouldn't NOT recommend but wouldn't partic rave about them either

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Not bad value especially compared to Huggies (which I only tend to buy when they're on offer). Can't wait for the day when she's finally out of nappies full stop though!!

Hi
I just finished with trying out the new easy up pants from pampers.
My little girl was delighted with the easy feeling & mobility she had with these pants. The only thing she didnt like was the fact that it wasnt put on her like normal pampers while lying on her change mat Grin ...
However, it was easy to put on & take off and easy to wrap it up for disposal.
I am extremely pleased with this product & will surely recommend it to my friends & family.
