Dd is 14 months and we used size 4

Overall I was really impressed. They were much neater and more compact than nappies but still held in loads of wees and some pretty messy poos.
They are soft and seemed much more comfortable around her waistline. Dd was excited to wear her 'big girl pants'. We're not potty training but going through a very difficult nappy changing stage and these have helped so so much.
I would definately use easy up pants again.

They were convenient to use as like I've said, dd was much happier to wear them than a nappy. I just couldn't get to grips with the sticky fastener on the rear. Couldn't bloody get it to work!
Love the idea of them for holidays/weekends away and travelling as they just seemed easier.

Have never used anything like them before.

Have already discussed with a couple of friends and (apart from price) have recommended them. Really liked using them.

I just don't think the cost is good value at all. Whether it would be different if you didn't use as many but for me they're far too dear. I'm tempted to try some own brand ones now and if I was rolling in it I'd use pampers without a doubt but I'm pretty skint so couldn't justify the cost of these.

Mine arrived this morning

Although I haven't used them yet (dd1 only uses nappies at night, we're waiting for a referral to enuresis clinic) my first thought is that there are only 19 in the pack, there used to be 24 ! Will the price be going down to reflect this?

I haven't had mine yet but won't be able to use them now! In the time since I put my name forward, DS had well and truly mastered toilet training and is out of nappies entirely

Quality good, but thicker than expected. We will probably use them going forwards

Yes, easy to use. DD is only telling us about poos but not always wees and they quickly fill you. They don't seem as absorbent as Pampers Actifit.

I think we've made a mistake using pull ups before DD was regularly asking to use the potty, whilst I'd recommend them, I would say to wait until they were using the potty rather than hoping a little interest plus the pullups would develop into wanting to use the potty more!

below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are rather expensive for the quantity but if your DC are only having accidents then one to three changes a day isn't too prohibitive.

Tried size 4 on ds2, 23 months. Went for snug fit and they were super snug...he's about 12 kgs

Q1 good overall, (not bothered about cartoon characters...have always been baffled on why they're needed on a nappy, who cares?), they're a nice quality look and feel. Yes, would use again
Q2 yes, convenient & easy to use
Q3 yes I've used pulls ups before and these compared well, i used a packet of another brand with ds1 that had velcro side tabs which I couldn't get on with
Q4 yes I'd recommend to someone with a wriggly toddler. I didn't use them as a precursor/aide to potty training so couldn't recommend on that basis
Q5 okish if the high cost is worth it for you to make less stressful nappy changes for example. Best value option is nappies so on that basis alone I will continue to mainly use nappies where wrigglyness allows and occasionally use a pull up

DS is 18 months old and got size 5 nappies.

Q1: I liked the design too bad ds doesn't have a clue who Dora and Diego were :-) DS have been using it for 2 days now and it seems to fill up really fast. I have always used pampers on him since he was born, other nappies give him rashes... Compared to pampers baby dry though this doesn't last long, it feels full after a couple of hours BUT I find it really convenient because ds has been pulling his nappy off every chance he gets and he can't do it with these. I will use them for daytime not for nights because he got soaked when he used these the first night he tried them pity coz it says it will keep him dry for 12 hours and I assumed it will be like his baby drys...  

Q2: The nappies are really easy and convenient to use... They're slim and won't add bulk to my nappy bag and the tapes at the back are really handy.  

Q3: I have tried huggies before for my ds on a holiday when I ran out and pampers somehow doesn't sag it still looks nice even when it's full.  

Q4: Yes I would recommend it to other mums simply because they're really convenient and easy to use even my husband likes it and he hates nappy change coz ds wriggles alot :-)  

Q5: If they would cost the same as the baby drys then they're good value for money specially if you're only using it going out or during the day.

I got mine in the post yesterday but haven't used them until today. My overall impression is quite good. My daughter has always used Pampers as they seem to suit her more than any other I have tried.

q1. The size 5 is too small for her so I went with the size 6 which have plenty of room almost too big but of the ones she has used no leaks so far and I like that they feel soft on her skin and I would recommend pampers as being reliable even though they are more expensive than some of the other brands.

q2. As Frey is a wriggly bum during her nappy change times these are time saving and less stress then having to man handle her to the mat. Shes happy wearing them and we sing you put your left leg then your right leg in for her to learn as she goes along. She is almost ready for potting training and these are a great transition from nappies.

q3. Because sometimes money can be tight I have opted for other brands before but don't find them as long lasting during the night or the fit isn't quite right. I find for me that I like the high back of the nappies/pants that stops leakages from too much movement.

q4. I would defiantly recommend pampers if anyone asked me about what nappies I have used and how I found them.

q5. I have always tried to paid that bit extra for Freya because whilst using pampers she's never had any irritations or nappy rash and I've taken that down to them being really absorbent and for her to be happy I've spent that bit extra. I do find that the bigger the nappy size you get the less nappy you get for your for money and as I am on a budget I don't find that cost effective.

Q1: they look good and were easy to put on. I like the fact you don't have to take them off like pants you can just rip the sides which is handy. I don't think they are any better to baby dry though so if these are more expensive then I probably wouldn't use them again until nappy changes become harder or she pulls her nappy off.

Q2: they are very easy to put on even when lying down and very easy to take off.

Q3: I haven't used pull ups before with her so can't comment.

Q4: I would recommend these nappies to parents if they were struggling with changing there child's nappy but for every day use I think baby dry are better.

Q5: I tink they are expensive but for what they are and especially if they make nappy changes so much easier I'd say its worth it.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Mine only arrived yesterday but, in my excitement to try these, I purchased a pack a fortnight ago from Ocado. My overall impression of these was that they were easier to put on than my toddler?s usual nappies (Pampers Active Fit) but harder to take off. The elasticated waist meant there was no concern about them being too tight, or not tight enough. I thought they make a great day-time nappy for active babies but not so much at night. My reasoning for this is that we did have two leaks during the day and they seem considerably ?fuller? than Active Fit nappies do in the same space of time. My only problem with these was that, despite the sticky back panel, they seemed harder to ?secure? for particularly explosive nappies.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, hugely convenient for my 16 month old who likes to toddle off bare-bottomed during nappy changes. He enjoyed putting his legs in, like trousers, too. Not as convenient as usual nappies for cleaning minor explosions ? when removing the nappy you need to tear the sides, and they are harder to wrap up too.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No, I have never used pull up nappies (apart from Huggies swimmers in the pool). We tend to use Pampers Active Fit during the day and Pampers Baby dry at night.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes ? they are convenient, seem to be secure and are very easy to put on!

I buy two mega boxes of Pampers from Asda or Tesco for £20.00. I think the price is too much for these as I would expect to pay about £10.00 for a mega box.

I am testing these on my 8 1/2 month old littly boy. we are using soze 4.

They seem very well made and the designs on the back are very colourful but I think Dora is a little out of date. The inside cuff seems much thicker than that on the normal pampers baby dry nappies and are very good at holding in lots of wee or poo (we usually have explosions with every poo!) I would use these again as they are easy to use, and ideal for when nanny or daddy changes him ( no need to worry about them not being put on correctly!). The sides seems very strong though normal nappies have a wider absorbency near this area

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Pretty convenient though probably easier for a baby that can stand by themselves to literally pull them up, though my little boy tries to crawl away so at least I know once they are up they are not loose like a normal nappy.

Yes, to friends with babies my little ones age or older, they are very absorbent.

Not really, the pampers simply dry or baby dry are often much cheaper and usually on promotion, but I would be tempted to buy these once my little one starts potty training, or possibly a cheaper alternative.

They worked well during the day but leaked at night. They look better under clothes than a normal nappy, not sure why.

We don't have Sky/cable so DD doesn't know who Dora is, I would prefer branding that she has seen/can associate with.

It is a bit of a pain having to take shoes etc off. We were at the seaside and putting on a pull-up means that sandy feet have to go through the leg holes and inevitably the pull-up got sand in it from DD's feet. They probably aren't as convenient as normal nappies, but DD looked better in them.

No

Yes, would recommend - mostly for loking neater than normal nappies.

They are fine for a branded product. We tend to stock up on nappies when there is an offer on, otherwise they are a bit pricy.

I used them for my 5yo dd1 who still needs nappies at night, size 6.

We always buy pampers pants as very few nappies fit her; the Huggies equivalent are far more expensive and leaked more when I bought them on offer recently - the pampers certainly hold more.

They seem comfortable, and don't leave any marks. She has very sensitive skin - we used reusables until she was dry during the day, and I recently tried them again as I was washing nappies for dd2 and they gave her a terrible nappy rash so the pampers certainly keep her skin dry.

As I posted earlier, I'm confused as to why the pack size has reduced? Will the price be reducing too? I find them expensive as it is (but I may be biased as I used reusables for so long and still do for dd2!)

Mine came today - however, since putting my name down to take part in the test, DD has more or less potty trained . I did buy a pack of Easy Up pants a couple of weeks ago though, so will answer the questions based on that.

I thought that they were ok but preferred the Active Fit nappies that we usually use. There were a couple of occasions early on when DD was refusing to poo on the potty and did it in the pull ups instead - it was a nightmare to take the dirty pants off though. However, DD did like the idea of wearing 'big girl nappies' though and I might well pop one on her if we're going on a longish car journey.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
As above, I found the dirty Easy Ups more difficult to take off a squirming toddler than normal nappies.

Possibly - they're convenient but part of me thinks it's probably easier to go cold turkey with potty training.

Q1- i trialed size 5 on my 17 month old DS. These were lovely and thick and a great fit. Maybe a more boyish pattern would go down well? These kept him dry overnight and i would definatly use them again.

Q2-we found these very easy to use and made nappy changes very easy

Q3-no this was our first experiance of pull ups

Q4-yes i would and have already discussed and recommeneded them.

Q5-they are resonable value for money. There are cheaper alternatives but they might not be as good

Yes they are very easy to use, and we would use them again. We use Baby Dry at night and will continue to do that, but I can see us switching to these pull-ups for daytime - we currently use Active Fit.
Our son really loves them, gave the packet a huge hug when we opened the box and announced 'I love mine Dora pants' :) He took his overnight nappy off this morning when he woke up and put Easy Up Pants on all by himself and came in proudly to show us. He has also taken himself to the potty several times when he has had them on. So very much a win in this house!

Not really, only Huggies swim nappies. We did try Easy Up Pants briefly with our eldest child, but they didn't aid potty training in any way so we went back to Active Fit because the Easy Up Pants were more expensive.

Q1 I've been utterly impressed with Pampers Easy Up Pants. I'd definitely use them again as they are really convenient and reliable. A great buy.
Q2 I have a very wriggly baby and these were fantastic. They pull on quickly and securely and the sides tear easily to take them off. I like the fact that they have a little plastic strip on the back to keep all the contents secure for disposal too.
Q3 These were the first easy up pants I'd tried so didn't know what to expect, I've been pleasantly surprised.
Q4 I've already recommended them to a couple of mums at the local toddler group my little one attends. They are also in the same predicament as me; active baby and issues with regular nappies as a result.
Q5 I think, for the additional convenience, comfort and ease, these are good value for money. I am definitely buying them again.

Have been using easy up pants size 4 for my LO who is 11 months old, have found them to be brilliant, no leaks and found them extremely easy to use. Have used other in the past which were ok but these seem to be a lot more absorbent. I would definitely recommend these to a friend and will be buying more
