Tested on my daughter age 2, used size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall impression was good would use them again as part of potty training process.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

This was probably more to do with me, rather than the design but when I was trying to put them on my daughter I couldn't always tell which way round they were supposed to go.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Haven't tried this kind of nappy before.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes would recommend them, possibly just as part of a potty training regime. I don't think they're strong enough to use as an 'everyday' nappy. We've had quite a few leaks, which doesn't normally happen with my usual brand.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Don't really think they're great value. Overall cost and the reasons stated above. Although, having not used this type of nappy before I don't have much to compare it to.

MairiCheese · 30/07/2013 07:22

My daughter is 20 months and we tried size 4 nappies.

Overall, I would probably not buy these nappies again. I found them bulky between my LO's legs and narrow across her backside, giving my LO an unusually shaped backside! We never had any problems with leaks, though. I didn't like the appearance of them either.

I found getting them on and off a bit more difficult than normal nappies as I sometimes leave her trousers around her ankles ready to slip back on again after a quick change, whereas with these nappies, I had to undress all her bottom half, including shoes. Also, my husband kept putting them on back to front, as its not terribly clear on the actual nappy which side is front, or back. I liked how you could just rip the sides to get it off, but then thought, it was just like a normal nappy, in that sense.

I might reconsider using them when we begin potty training, which will be soon, but I think regular nappies may serve just as well.

I haven't used this kind of nappy before, so it was interesting to try them, but at the moment, I still prefer the usual nappy style.

I would possibly recommend these nappies to mums who were looking for this style of nappy since they didn't leak and were robust for pulling up and down.

I think they are alright value for money considering the price of other pampers nappies. They are still one of the most expensive on the market though.

DorisShutt · 30/07/2013 08:15

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Simple to use and for the child to use too. Well designed, but possibly a bit plasticy round the elasticated waist. I'd use them again.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Very easy and convenient - and fabulous when journeys were planned and real pants are just not an option.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Never used these style of nappies before so cannot comment.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would. They are a great stepping stone to boost confidence; my son is very particular about cleanliness and although we tried straight to pants training, it was distressing him too much. This way he can try, but there is no consequence if he does have an accident.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
Reasonable value for money based on the confidence issue alone. Naturally, cheaper would be better, but I will be buying them again.

DorisShutt · 30/07/2013 08:16

Oops! Meant to say that my DS is just short of turning 3, and we used size 6 nappies.

bloggingmummy · 30/07/2013 09:21

We received the size 5 for my 2 year old son to test.

Q1: Overall impression: My overall impression was great. I felt they were not as thick as the normal pampers we use.

Q2: Convince: I found they were were easy to use. So much easier to use than a normal nappy. My little boy never wants to lay down and be changed, so much easier to put on him.

Q3: I haven't ever used any other pull ups. Pampers would be the only brand I would use.

Q4: I would 100% recommend the Pampers Pull ups to anyone other mums. they are so easy to use. My little man feels like a big boy in them. He says pants every time I put on on him.

Q5:I feel the pull up pants are a bit more pricy compared to the normal nappies. But they are easier to use and convenient. My son always takes his nappy off, so the fact he cant just pull these open at the sides is great.

phantomhairpuller · 30/07/2013 10:43

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Quite bulky compared to Huggies. I am usually I pampers fan, but to be honest, I don't think I would use these again as Huggies seem to perform better on this occasion.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
As in Q1, they are quite bulky in comparison and possibly not as absorbent.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Possibly not as, in this instance I prefer another brand.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
About average in my opinion.

phantomhairpuller · 30/07/2013 10:45

Oops, meant to say DS1 is 2yrs 3months and is actually now toilet trained but having used pampers in the past, this is what I have based my feedback on.

Honeysuckle939 · 30/07/2013 12:04

I used size 4 Easy Up Pants on my 15 month old DD

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My first impression was that they felt thicker than the actifits that she normally wears, but once they were on they looked neat & compact under clothes. They seemed comfortable & DD liked being able to stand for a nappy change instead of having to lie down. The absorbency seemed excellent as always, comparable to other Pampers. I think they lack a bit of capacity (of liquid) that the nappies have but hence the lack of sagging when full. That's no bad thing, they should be changed before they sag anyway. Not sure how useful they would be as a toilet training aid (we're not there yet) as they would be quite difficult for DD to pull up & down herself, not comparable to pants in that regard.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, very easy. Especially when DD is wearing a dress, makes a nappy change a breeze. As mentioned DD much preferred not having to lie down & I much preferred not having to deal with her wriggling!

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Never used pull ups before so cannot comment.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. I think once a baby reaches toddlerhood (i.e. can't keep still) then they can make life much easier for parent & child. Not so sure about recommending them for toilet training thou.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are obviously more expensive than nappies but are very convenient at times. As someone else said, maybe remove the character branding & reduce the cost? I won't be buying them regularly (unless on offer) but will keep a bag in the cupboard for certain situations.

amygadget · 30/07/2013 13:35

My child is 2 and I had size 5 (I think...)

They were brilliant. Up to Pampers usual standards, I would use them again, they were so much easier to get on my baby than making him lie down to have a nappy fitted.

They were more like pants which I think my son liked, he would help me pull them up. The are so easy to put on standing up.

I tried to use pull-ups before but used Huggies and found they a)gave my daughter a rash, and b)leaked. These didn't. They lasted all night with no leaks!!

Yes totally would. The ease of the pull up, the lack of leaks is a major plus.

I personally think all brand nappies are expensive, however I think the cost is 100% reflected in the effectiveness of the nappy so yes, in relative terms they are good value.

Thank you for the opportunity.

Dashfixer · 30/07/2013 14:11

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants?

Much easier than nappies

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes very convenient

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children?

First time using any type of pull up.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents?

yes for the ease of use

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

A bit expensive compared to regular nappies

emmasonny · 30/07/2013 17:22

I feel indifferent to them, i cant really see the point as my 2 year old does nt wriggle when we change him and i think they would be very bulky to try and pull up and down when toilet training. They didnt leak but we dont often have that problem anymore and they fitted ok, (size 5) but as they are more expensive i m not convinced.

I found then more of a struggle to get them on as my little one had to lie down to take it off and then stand up to put it on, much wasier lying down for the whole thing, may be more convenient when hes older.

Haven t tried any before.

If they were struggling with a wriggly child, my friend used them for this reason and it helped alot.

Unfortunately they dont make my life any easier so would nt pay anymore than i do now for regular nappies. This potentially could change when toilet training.

morethanmama · 30/07/2013 19:01
  1. Great pull up. Very quality feel. I particularly liked Dora. Not that my ds knew who she was.
  1. Really easy to pull up and down. My 2 year old (who is potty trained so we are only using them at night) is able to do them on his own.
  1. I previously used Huggies princess pants. These feel much better quality.
  1. Yes.
  1. I think they are a little bit expensive when compared to nappy cost. I only use them at night though.
givemeaboost · 30/07/2013 20:55

dd3 think we had size 4

Q1 They were quite good, nice looking with pictures of dora, quite snug on dd though even though shes a fairly svelte only-just 3

Q2 They were easy to use, though I actually found dd slipped backwards- I wanted to try them as we are potty training but dd wont poo in the toilet, only in her pants, thought with these she could wee as normal on toilet but poo in them too but whilst wearing these she was reluctant to go to the toilet, instead peeing in them too, also, when she pooed in them, within 2-3minutes the poo was seeping from the leg area:-(

Q3 yes I used tescos pullups for ds at night befre he night trained, they were similar in quality though pampers obviously significantly more expensive, also felt Tesco were more generous on the size than these pampers ones

Q4 yes they were a good enough pullup but unsure how I feel about pullups completely now, sort of feel its prob better to go all or nothing in regards to potty training

Q5 don't think they are exceptionally good value for money no, compared to shop brands which in my experience have been just as good

SallySL88 · 30/07/2013 21:02

Q1 My overall impression of them was good. I would definitely use them again. They are really useful for the in-between stage of potty training and for night time use.

Q2 I found them very convenient and easy to use. I they pull up and down easily when little one needs to use the potty or toilet. The sides rip easily to remove also if soiled.

Q3 I've only ever used Pampers.

Q4 I would definitely recommend them. I have only ever used Pampers on my children and for all of the reasons above.

Q5 I think they are good value for money, especially if you get them on offer in supermarkets!

I got size 5 for my 4 year old daughter who is not dry at night yet but I then bought some size 4 for my 2 year old son who is potty training and they are really good for both of them!

lkfitz · 30/07/2013 21:39

Question 1: My overall impression of the easy up pants was very good, much better than I thought they would be. They were a great fit, very easy to put on and take off and didn't leak at all. Would definitely use them again.
Question 2: They were very easy to use, more so than normal pampers for a child who wriggles during nappy changing, made it quicker.
Question 3: Have never used easy up pants before but was very impressed at how well they worked.
Question 4: Would definitely recommend easy up pants to others, in fact already have to a friend, they're so easy to use, work great even overnight and make it alot easier to change a nappy. Would think they would be great to use during potty training also.
Question 5: I think they're a bit expensive compared to the other pampers nappies, i always use active fit pampers. However i would be willing to pay the extra, maybe look out for offers on these.

starlight36 · 31/07/2013 10:40

Question 1. My overall impression of the product was good. I was particularly impressed that they survived the enthusiastic tugs of my DD. We will probably use them again although would shop around to try and buy them at a discount as they are more expensive than standard Pampers.

Question 2. I found the pants easy to use. My daughter is used to swim nappies so found them a similar fit.

Question 3. These were the first Easy up pants I'd bought. I particularly like the unisex design as a competitor only sells these in pink or blue packs, which I find a little off-putting.

Question 4. I would definitely recommend the product to other parents.

Question 5. Compared with other Pampers nappies I don't find them good value for money. However the price is comparable to other 'pull-up' nappies.

starlight36 · 31/07/2013 10:43

For post above we were using these on a 2 year 7 month old and had size 5. This is the size nappy we normally use. The fit appeared a little snug but my DD didn't complain about them being tight.

Sootica87 · 31/07/2013 14:19

Q1 = First impressions of the Easy Up pants were really good. I like using pampers anyway because I find them softest but strongest. My DD loved the Dora (as did my older DD) but I can imagine it would be a bit girly for boys. I would use them again as it's getting DD ready for pulling knickers up/down and has Pampers softness.

Q2 = I found them very convenient and quick to put on, a great advantage with a wiggly toddler!

Q3 = I used huggies and shops own pull up pants with my eldest DD. I refuse to speak of huggies anymore :( The shops own were very thick which seemed to defeat the object of getting DD used to thin cotton knickers. I feel Pampers got it right, thick enough to protect but not so thick her trousers suddenly don't fit!

Q4 = I would definitely recommend Pampers Easy Up pants to my friends, fun designs that kids love, plenty of protection from leaks and DD feels grown up in pulling them on.

Q5 = I think Pampers are more on the expensive side, but then they aren't overpriced. It fits in with the rest of the nappies on the market.

JoWool · 31/07/2013 14:40

Age of Child 2 years 4 months - Size 5 Pampers

Q1 I love Pampers, ive used other brands but always been disapointed and returned to Pampers. These were up to the usual standard and i have now switched from Active Fit to these.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not? Yes i did find them easy to use as my son likes to be stood up when having his nappy changed, so this was really useful. Sadly my son also likes undoing the tabs on a nappy and so he was rather upset he could no longer do this.

Q3 No, this was my first experience of pull up style nappies.

Q4 Yes, id always recommend Pampers. However, wouldnt recommend as at training pant pre-potty as these feel so much like a nappy, kids dont notice any difference, so i dont think it would work.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Ive since bought them in Mega pack size and they arnt too bad, more than other brands and other pamper equivalents though, so it would be good if these were priced the same per nappy as active fit, baby dry, simply dry etc.

itsn0tmeitsyou · 31/07/2013 19:57

I wanted to trial these nappies as my third child, unlike his older brother and sister, is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE on the changing table, and writhes, screams and basically does anything he can to make changing his nappy the most difficult and unpleasant task imaginable. A lot of the time I try to put a regular nappy on him standing up (he is 17 months now) which is fiddly.

Putting an Easy Up on him was so much easier - I can even change his nappy (as long as it's just wee!) just holding him in my arms - no screaming!! What a revelation!

I would definitely use them again, and although cost is higher than a regular nappy, I think I will probably use them in conjunction with regular nappies, for those difficult times when I don't want to be lying him down or setting him off on a screaming fit.

In terms of using comparable products, I have used Huggies Pull-ups on my eldest as a night time nappy and find them similar. Neither leak and the fit is good.

If it came up in conversation, I would definitely recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents as my experience in this trial has been so positive. I was disappointed when the pack ran out as it had really made a big difference to nappy changing time during the day, and I do find that once my son gets going with the screaming, it can make him tetchy in other areas too, so just avoiding the triggers helps no end.

Thanks for the trial!

PourquoiPas · 31/07/2013 20:47

I used these with an 18kg 3 year old, size 5 (at night time only)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

They were great. Felt really high quality, not a single one tore or snapped which I have got used to occasionally in other brands. I would definitely use them again.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

They were really convenient. I would use them again, and would use them for my younger child from an early age.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

Pampers were far better. They just seemed to be really high quality, absorbent, strong and comfortable.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would - high quality leak proof nappy.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They are more expensive, but they are still good value for money as they are such good quality.

Deejwalker · 31/07/2013 22:01

23mth size 5 just about to start potty training.

1 - very pleased with easy up pants. Very absorbent and will definitely be using them again in the potty training process.

2 - they are very convenient and easy to use. My LO just started to pull normal nappies off so ideal!

3 - have used pampers since LO birth and unlikely to change brand now as very happy with the quality & value for money or pampers.

4 - most definitely recommend pampers, have done in past & will do in future.

5 - they may be more money than leading supermarket brands for you get what you pay for and the are worth the little bit extra.

Thank you for the trial x

poshbeaver · 31/07/2013 22:10

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Wouldyou use them again? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, they seemed comfortable on my DS. He liked the design on the front and the feeling of being a 'big boy.'
Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not? Very convenient and easy to use.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of yourchildren? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? I have used supermarket own brands and boots before. The pampers easy up pants were equally as good.

If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy UpPants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?Yes I would, they kept my son very dry and comfortable.

We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants costbelow - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why? I don't think they are too overpriced, though I would probably stick with the supermarket own brands due to getting more pairs for my money.

DawnOfTheDee · 01/08/2013 08:17

Q1 Good, quality nappies. Less bulky than 'normal' nappies. Didn't have any leaks when using them (even on the odd occasion when we used them on DD overnight). I would use them again but would probably wait until DD was a bit older. Found she's not ready for potty training just yet. Easy up's are fine if she just had a wet nappy but were messy to get off her when she'd done a poo!

Q2 They were conveniet in that they seemed smaller and less bulky so easier to carry around. They also made nappy changes much quicker (unless it was a dirty nappy!).

Q3 No, haven't used this sort of nappy before.

Q4 Yes but only if their child is potty training. They pull up and down easily like pants and if you were out and about you'd wouldn't feel worried if your LO had an accident.

Q5 They do seem more expensive than other brands especially supermarket own brands. However I always buy pampers as I find the quality is better and they dont' leak. I do look out for offers though and make sure I stock up.

Linoopy1 · 01/08/2013 10:10

Thank you very much for the nappies. Very good and easy to use. My lb is very active and doesn't stay still for very long when it comes to nappy changing so the pants were very easy to put on in no time at all. Would use again :)
