Q2 Yes and my son wriggles!
Q3 No this is the first time i have used this type of nappy.
Q4 I have already recommended and will continue to do so.
Q5 Overall yes as it's worth the money as they are convenient, easy to put on and keep them dry!

Catiinthehat · 23/07/2013 20:29

Received size 5 for 2 yr old

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Great quality, kept dry and easy to put on.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not
Yes

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Have tried pull ups, definitely prefer these. Pull ups are a bit tighter for the sizing.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, high quality reliable.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are a bit high but again, all nappies of this design seem expensive

PigtailsAndPlaits · 23/07/2013 20:40

My DS is 21 months old and we tried the size 5 pack

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
My Ds was very excited to try these on, they were a good fit, good material, and I loved the sticky tag at the back. Yes I would buy them again

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
They were very easy to use and very concenient when playing in and out of the paddling pool

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
We have used another brand once or twice when at the MIL as she had some pull ups but no nappies, The pampers were slightly bigger and a better fit around the legs.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would I always like to tell people about a good product when I have used one, This also includes telling parents at the nursery in which I work in.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
All in all I think they are a good price as they are needed, but would always keep my eye out for special offers.

starkadder · 23/07/2013 20:56

DD is 21 months and we had the size 4.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Easy to get on, not too bulky, no leaks. Would use again except they're a bit more expensive than other nappies.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes; particularly helpful after bath time when DD is running around all over the place and has to be caught and manhandled into nappy and pyjamas...easier to get these on a wriggly baby than it is to use a traditional nappy. Also v useful for out and about, e.g. in park, for the same reason.

I was intending to try and use them for potty training but don't think DD is ready.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I think we might have had some once with DS but very briefly (would have been on a visit somewhere) because we mostly used cloth with him.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Well, I wouldn't exactly not recommend them but I wouldn't recommend them either - they aren't THAT amazing and nappies are quite boring to talk about.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

They're not hideously expensive but they're more expensive than other nappies and the main positive (compared, eg with other Pampers) is the convenience for a running away child - I'm probably too stingy to pay more, but might buy them for occasional use.

lemony7 · 23/07/2013 21:05

Child age: 18mos
Size of Pampers Easy Up Pants: 5

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
As a fan of Pampers I had high expectations of these guys. I was not disappointed! I haven?t compared them to any other pull up pants yet but I expect to use these again in the future. The looked appealing, were soft and BG seemed happy wearing them, and being able to put them on herself.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
We struggled to get them on the first time we used them but it gets easier with time.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
We have some Huggies Pull Up pants but haven?t used them as she?s very recently shown signs of wanting to use a potty.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely. I?d recommend Pampers to anyone because they?ve been the best for me.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They?re a bit pricey as I rarely pay full price for nappies. I?d definitely stock up when they were on offer though.

Thanks for giving me this opportunity :)

KnittedWaffle · 23/07/2013 21:08

I used size 6 for DS1 who is 2.

Q1 Overall I really like Pampers Easy Up Pants. They're good quality but not too bulky and going against the grain here - Ds1 (2) loves the cartoon characters on there (Dora) and actually asks for 'Dora' nappies.

Q2 Really convenient and easy to use. Helpful when baby/toddler is wriggly or you're limited with space as you can change them standing up. DS1 also likes to get himself dressed in the morning and is able to put one on himself.

Q3 We've used most other supermarket own brand pull ups (asda, sainsburys, tesco, wilkinson's, Boots) but th are all much bulkier and the Pampers are the only ones that hold Ds1's huge poos in without leaking! (Hurrah!)

Q4 yes I would recommend them. The ease of use/lack of bulk and non-leakage makes them my first choice.

Q5 I do think they are comparatively expensive and I only ever buy them when they're on offer. The smaller packs really don't seem to be good value but because the product is superior to its competitors I have to pay up!

LifesAHappySong · 23/07/2013 21:20

I used the easy up pants on my 26 month old daughter, size 5.

Q1. My overall impression of the pants was really good, my daughter liked them, they made nappy changes easy and they were as reliable as the usual pampers nappies I use. They were great in the hot weather as my daughter tries to take nappies off under her dress but this wasn't a problem with the pants. I would use them again (and have bought some already) for these reasons. However the characters on the nappies seem outdated.

Q2. Very convenient and easy to use, liked the tear off sides and sticky tab for rolling them up. Very easy to change standing up if needed which is a bonus.

Q3. Never used similar pants before.

Q4. I would recommend the pants for the reasons listed in Q1 and because I think they are good value (see Q5).

Q5. Yes I think the pants are good value, as they are reliable, need changing less often (eg overnight) and are on a par price-wise with other pampers nappies. I would normally buy them on offer though.

custardcream1000 · 23/07/2013 21:26

We tested the size 5 Pampers Easy Up Pants.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
In general both myself and my toddler got on well with the Pampers Easy Up Pants. They fitted well, were easy to put on a very wriggly toddler, and were a very good quality soft nappy. I will use them again, but not if my son is teething as I had one occasion where the nappies leaked a loose stool.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
The Easy Up Pants were very convenient. My toddler normally gets very distressed when I change his nappy, however, I have had no tears using these as I have been able to change his nappy without disturbing his play. I would also like to note how useful these are for any parents whose children have recently had an operation. My child had an orchidopexy the week before we received the sample. I was terrified I would accidently pull or knock my sons incisions while trying to hold him down for a nappy change, but the Easy Up Pants resolved this issue as I could change his while he was standing.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have not used this, or any similar product prior to this.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, for the reasons stated above.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I do think they are a little expensive, but they are inline with the price of other Pampers products.

custardcream1000 · 23/07/2013 21:30

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up

  • I sure would and I have with my friends & family .

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

  • They are very good value if they are on offer .
Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/07/2013 21:53

1.yes, but would be more likely to do so if DS would tell me when he is going to do a poo as could just avoid messy changes with these ones.
2.yes for wees, found it made poo changes harder to do.

  1. No
  2. Yes
  3. No, think expensive compared to buying baby dry on offer
Kerry1204 · 23/07/2013 22:00

My daughter is 3 & only wears them in bed. We tested size 5 they were a good fit, looked comfortable & we loved Dora & the animal designs.
No leaks! Easy for little hands to pull up & down. Haven't made her sweaty or sticky in the heat!!
Would definatley recommend to a friend.

esmesser1 · 23/07/2013 22:35

tried the pampers easy up size 6 for a morning as he's not quite ready for them but they were perfectly fine no leaks and he was very happy running around in them. they looked comfy and had a nice design. all in all very pleased :)

miluth · 23/07/2013 22:36

I've been using size 5 on my 2year old

  1. first impressions were very good, nappies didn't look too bulky and DD was fascinated with Dora on the front and spent a good 5 mins looking at herself in the mirror! Would use them again.

  2. Very easy to use and the sides didn't accidentally rip open when putting them on.

  3. first time I've tried pull-ups on DD

  4. would definitely recommend

  5. they are expensive but there always seems to be an offer on in the supermarkets so would buy then.

esmesser1 · 23/07/2013 22:47

was trialing the size 6 easy up pampers pants for my 20 month old son

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
very impressed no issues with them easy to use no leakage nice designs

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
yes easy to use mayb need more space in the front to make sure a little boy is comfortable as when u pull them up not much room to make 'comfortable'

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
no

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
yes i would highly recommend these pants just thought they were all round good nappies

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
quality wise yes good value for money but quantity wise no think there could b better value packs out there for the price paid

ritagcabrita · 23/07/2013 22:58

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

My overall impression was very positive. They are very easy to use so I would definitely use them again.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, they are very convenient and easy to use.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No, this is the first time I have used this type of pants.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would recomend to as many parents as I could as it is a high quality product and hassle free.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not?

They are a little expensive for the number of nappies in the packet. My suggestion is to sell jumbo boxes so that it is better value for money.

I enjoyed trying this product very much, thank you for the opportunity!

I wasent 100 percent keen on these but seemed to do the job and thats what i want! X id use them again and i would recommend them x
No ihavent used other brands x
I woud metion what i use if asked but wouldnt state unless asked

I think thwy are expensive and that what would put me off xx

claireg1986 · 24/07/2013 15:56

Q1: I don't think I would use Pampers Easy Ups again. I didn't find them easy to pull up or down at all so doubt my little one would be able to do this alone. Also they weren't great if my child soiled herself as they were quite small and didnt hold much so it got quite messy

Q2: Similiar to Q1 I found them hard to pull up and down and not very practical

Q3: Pampers Easy Ups were the first of these style nappies I have used so I cannot compare them to any other brands at the moment

Q4: I wouldnt recommend them as when toilet training I feel you shouldn't encourage your LO with pull up nappies as this defeats the object of teaching them not to go in their nappy.

Q5: I feel they are very expensive for what they are. Also as per Q4 I would rather put my child in knickers when fully toilet training.

justtired · 24/07/2013 17:15

My Ds is 28 months and trying the 5+ size.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I liked the look of them, and thought they made a nice transition from nappy to pull up to pants, My ds liked them and calls them his ,big boy pants.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
I find not having to lie down my ds so much easier as he is now of an age where he doesn't want to lie down nicely and change his nappy. He will happily stand into these and let me pull them up. I do find them very difficult to pull up though, and the side bits a so flimsy if you pull them to get the nappy in position, they rip really easily.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No I haven't used any other pull ups.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend them if the parent was having the same issues as me, I would however explain the problems I have had too.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I think they are a lot of money, but most of the top branded nappies are. I find these don't last as long on my ds before they are hanging off and full up, so I don't feel im getting as much for my money, and obviously as he is in a bigger size, you get less for your money too. I also am still having to put Baby Dry nappies on him at night as these just do not stand up to night time wetness.

Other comments - I feel that the fit of these nappies are really not right around the bum area, everywhere else they are a perfect fit but the bit that covers his actual bum cheeks are not covered completely and we have had escapee poos! I like the idea of the tab on the back for closing the nappy up, however if these catch on clothes they stick to everything and his older brother loves to pull on it and then tell everyone he has a tail!!!

ClareyScott · 24/07/2013 17:17

I was impressed overall with the easy up pants. I was sent size 5 for my 2.5 yr old. They fit well and don't leak. My son was keen to wear them although think this is largely due to the characters on them! My only criticism is that they seem bulkier than the huggys pull-ups I have used and there is no wetness indicator. Overall I would recommend them and am likely to buy them in the future.

charlie7 · 24/07/2013 20:08

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I liked the convenience of using the, and they didn't leak at all. However, I do think they are quite expensive, so I probably wouldn't use them unless they were on a deal.
Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes they were great for out and about, where you don't want to lie the child down. I think the idea is good.
Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare? I have, Ive used supermarket own. I thought pampers were of a better quality and easier to tear off.
Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend the product but not the price
Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
No I don't think they compare to the deals you get on other nappies. You don't get as many for your money.

VivClicquot · 24/07/2013 20:10

My daughter is 2 years 3 months, trying the 5 size.

Generally, I do like the pull-up pants - indeed they are the brand I use most often with my daughter, largely because I tend to be very brand-loyal to Pampers.

I do find them a lot more convenient than nappies, particularly when my daughter does not want to lie down for a nappy change. That said, I have not used them as a deliberate pre-cursor to potty training - she still thinks of them as nappies, as I think when we do attempt potty-training, it will be all-or-nothing into regular cotton pants.

Two suggestions, however - I would like the sticky tag to be longer. If there is a mammoth poo (sorry!) or if the nappy is particularly wet, it can be difficult to wrap it up properly.

Also, it would be great if you did a night-time version, as they tend to be a bit bulky by morning for regular night time use - so I use baby dry nappies at night.

In terms of value for money - they are admittedly at the higher end of the price spectrum, but I do think the quality is there.

Overall, I would (and do!) buy them and would recommend to others.

purplefledling · 24/07/2013 20:33

I recived my nappies a week ago and have been mixing them in with our normal nappies.

My little boy is 17 months and we had size 5 to try.

Q1 My initial impression was they were colourful but I was quite confused by the sticky bit on the back. My inital thinking was it was something to do with the testing until I read the packet. I did find this quite differcult to use and work out how to stick it round a very full nappy. My lb was impressed that he didnt have to lay down to put the nappy on and seemd very comftable in them. I tried them during the night (as I only use pampers nappies at night) and during the day. I found them a little but more bulky than normal pampers, but held as much as a normal nappy.

Q2 We did have a couple of of problems getting them on but me and my lb have now worked out a way to get them on. He is also trying very hard to put them on himself.

Q3 We have used own brand pull ups before and found that these worked better and absorbed more. However I did find that theY were differcult to rip the sides when taking them off. Also they are not very good at holding a dirty nappy.

Q4 Definitely I?d recommend Pampers to anyone because they?ve been the best for us especially for night time.

Q5/ I tend to stock up on pampers when there on offer as I do find nappies (any brand) expensive.

cravingcake · 24/07/2013 20:35

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I like them, they are much easier when my stubborn DS (21 months) wouldn't stay still or lie down for a nappy change.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes, especially when out.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Yes I've used Huggies Pull-Ups and actually found these to be a better fit (that may just be for my DS). I found if he had one wee in them, they got very heavy and sagged quickly, exposing a 'builders bum'

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would suggest others try them for convenience if their child hates lying down for a nappy change

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
They are expensive but very handy so I would probably only buy them when on offer to use in my change bag, not as an all day every day option.

Dublinmum22 · 24/07/2013 21:22

I've tried the size 6 pampers easy up pant on my 20 mth old daughter and found them super especially at night I have 3 children and have always used pampers on all 3 so it comes as no surprise that the easy up pants rate 10/10 for me also my little girl thinks she's so grown up pulling them up and down leak proof comfortable and fun she loved Dora for sure and already have recommend to many friends none of my kids have ever had nappy rash and I put that down to pampers !!! Loyal fan x
