Ive been trying them out have ti say think they're great they hold eveything in like a nappy but with the convenience of pull ups my wee girl loves them

gabrielaromt · 25/07/2013 09:25

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants?

Really easy to use on the go when you don't have a clean area to lay your child.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

No so easy to pull up and down. It was quite a struggle to put them right from the beginning.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children?

no, I did not

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents?

Yes I would, but only if needed for ease of changing compared to regular nappy.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Quite expensive compered to other nappies. I will stick to the regular ones.

gabrielaromt · 25/07/2013 09:27

My child is 28 moths and we tried no 5.

Kirkman82 · 25/07/2013 09:56

Used these for my 2 yr old son size 6
Q1
Thought these are good for a busy 2 year old and although would be better with a diff design as he has no idea who dora is he enjoyed putting them on and off and could do it himself. They were fine in the day but he leaked alot more at night they were no where near as good as active fit for absorption he would leak out the top (sleeps on his tummy) but also on the sides (where tabs wud be)
I prob wouldn't buy them again as they are expensive and leak at night
Q2
I did find them convenient and much easier as described above but the downer was leakage
Q3
I have never tried anything similar so cannot compare
Q4
I probably would recommend for convenience and day time but not due to cost and not for nighttime
Q5
I can't say they are good value as they are more expensive than other pampers (which is expensive enough especially now the new mega pack is more expensive with alot less in than previous)!! Plus they leak alot at night

baby 8 months. Nappies size 4

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Out off all the pampers nappies i have used starting from pampers new baby to active fit to baby ultra dry, i wasn't very impressed with these nappies at all,as they didn't reach my expectation. I do not know if its because of the age of my baby 8 months that i am not impressed with them as we found it really hard to put on the child and when full leaks occurred especially when they were on for a long period like over night. however getting the nappy off was quick but i still like the other way off resealing once used. I can also see the appeal of the pattern on the front but my child was too young too really notice it. we tired the size 4 nappies and my baby weighs more than 20lb but less than 24lb when trailing these nappies and we felt that they needed something to be able to tighten them as they we too big for my child.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Me and my partner both found the pampers easy up pants hard to put on as our baby (8 months) cant stand and to get the nappy on him it was extremely hard as once you had one leg in he had the other one out, or he was rolling over on to his front or we had been urinated on as we had to lift him up to pull them up. Once one we then had to make sure everything was pointing down so leaks didn't occur. So changing a nappy wasn't as quick as normal.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
No

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I am not sure if i would recommend pampers easy up pants to other parents unless their baby can stand up. As we found it hard to put on a wriggly baby who doesn't stay still, but don't have the power in legs yet to stand. However when my baby is standing up i will be giving them another go to see what they are like for older babies.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I do think the price is expensive for value, as we seemed to go through them very quickly due to leaks however they are always deals on pampers and you can get coupons. But pampers are a really good make and i wouldn't go else where.

Child 2.5yrs old. Size 5 pants.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
Liked them a lot. Excellent quality as usual with Pampers. Good absorbency. Only leaked once. Personally I do not like the 'Dora' design & my toddler does not have any interest in 'Dora'

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes very easy to use with a wriggling toddler who will not lie down for a conventional nappy change.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Yes have used Huggies & Tesco own brand. I prefer Huggies to Pampers as I like the Disney Cars design which is my son's favourite character. I like the wetness indicator on Huggies. I also like the velcro side adjusters on Huggies as you can adjust them & put them back on. Once you rip the Pampers sides the nappy is destroyed. I do like the stick tab on Pampers to wrap up a used nappy. I find Huggies & Tesco own brand a lot cheaper which is really important at this economic time.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would tell others that Pampers are the best nappies but would recommend Huggies as I think the design & features (Velcro & wetness indicator) are better than Pampers. I would also insist that Huggies & shop own brands were cheaper.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
No I always find Pampers the most expensive & I just can not afford them. I would only buy Pampers if they were on offer or I had a voucher. Shop brands & Huggies are just as good quality & design so I would buy them as they are cheaper.

Sparklezz · 25/07/2013 12:10

I forgot to add that my daughters age is 18 months

england66 · 25/07/2013 12:30

my little girl loved them as she felt like a big girl wearing them they did not leak like some I tired even at night which was good

pettyprudence · 25/07/2013 14:11

DS, 2.4 years old, size 5 pants

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Overall I was very impressed. They did not leak, even when ds had a bout of diarrhoea (sorry TMI!). DS loved the dora motif. I would use them again but only if I had discount vouchers for them.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Easier to take off than on but that's just because ds is such a wriggler

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
I have used Lidles own brand pull up pants as I have used their nappies before but I found that they just did not contain the poo!

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would recommend these. I was a bit sceptical at first as I didn't think they would be helpful for potty training, however, ds is at in inbetween stage. Not quite ready for big boy pants but asking to use the toilet to much to keep taking nappies off and putting them back on. With pull ups I could get them down quickly and seize the opportunity.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Before I started the trial I thought that easy up pants were just too expensive, however having used a cheaper brand I think that Pampers are much better value as they actually work. However, as they are just a convenience rather than necessity I will continue to buy cheaper normal nappies.

babybearsmummy · 25/07/2013 14:31

I've had a few problems with Pampers nappies before with them causing my daughter to have nappy rash, so I've used this as a chance for Pampers to redeem themselves now that we are moving on to using pull-ups and attempting potty training!

Q1) I did really like them. The design was fun and recognisable for young children, they were a good fit and easy to use. As others mentioned, I wouldn't use them while my daughter is still prone to soiling herself as things do get quite messy! I really think the fit is spot-on too, we have has so much trouble with finding nappies that are a good fit for our little girl as she is very tall for her age but quite slim, so these are great for accommodating her shape.

Q2) We did find them very easy to use, they could be pulled on and off quite easily and comfortably and the sides pulled apart (not too easily) but simply and conveniently. The only time we've used nappies which have tear apart sides are with swim nappies and these are so much easier to do! The only thing I found difficult if that you can't re-seal the sides if you've opened them, realised you've forgotten something and need to re-seal them for a moment, so there were a few moments when my little girl managed to squirm out of them and make a lot of mess when I'd forgotten a nappy bag or new nappy!

Q3) Again, the only time I've used "pull-up" style pants are with swim pants and I found the Pampers have a better fit than most of the nappies we've used and are easier to tear the sides than other pant style nappies. I would definitely prefer to use Pampers Easy Up pants for our little girl from now on.

Q4) I would recommend them on the basis of their ease of use and their convenience. They're fun and have a good comfortable fit (which is most important). Also the pack sizes are good for different occasions; such as stocking up for home, or a travel pack for a day out which I think it good. However, I think I'd mention that they can get a little messy at times and that they are a little on the expensive side.

Q5) I think the price is a little on the expensive side, but also feel that with these you are paying for the quality. They are good nappies! In the future I think I'd buy these in the largest size pack for better value for money, but I'd also be tempted to buy travel packs too for short breaks away or days out as they're not the most expensive I've seen on the market!!

Thank you for letting us try these out, it has been great to test a new product in order to help with our decision as to which pull-ups/ nappies to buy our daughter now that she's starting to potty train! :)

Our little girl is 1 and we tried the size 5 x

noo1985 · 25/07/2013 14:49

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?
I definitely would use again, I liked the new Dora the explorer design especially for my little girl. She is not potty trained yet but wanted to start trying so thought I would try her with pull ups and I was impressed they kept her dry as good as normal nappies

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?
Yes very convenient and easy to use ESP if using with potty training

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?
Never used any others as they were used on my eldest who is the first to be potty trained.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Definitely would recommend as I thought they were a good product which performed well

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?
I do think they are slightly expensive compared to own brand pull ups but in terms of a comparison I have never used any others so would say these are worth the money!

We used size 5 for my 21 month old

Kelloges0811 · 25/07/2013 19:00

HI Thank you very much for the chance to try out the Pampers Easy Up Pants for free.
Q1 I Would certainly buy these again. Very impressed with comfort and dryness, design is great too.

Q2 I did find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use on my son. He is just over two years old and starting to use the potty and toilet willinging. He will say' I need a wee' but just as he has started so the Easy Up Pants are great to catch that first part and he finishes it in the toilet or potty. If we are in the car and unable to get to a toilet they are great at keeping him dry as good as the Pampers nappies he has been wearing before hand.

Q3. I have used Easy up Pants in the past with my daughter who is now five but they did not keep her dry and changed to Huggies pull ups for her but then they could not hold wee nor keep her dry. These new Easy up Pants by Pampers are even great for night time with my son and if he is up later than usual he will ask to go the toilet a couple of times which is great as he can pull his pants down himself and feel like a big boy.

Q4 If it came up in conversation yes I would recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents. These are great if your child, like mine is at the inbetween stage when they can't quite hold it in and don't know or tell you untill they have actually started a wee. They are a brilliant transition from lying down to put a nappy on like a baby to actually standing up - putting on Easy Up Pants like a big boy/girl and being able to pull them down easily to use the toilet/potty.

Q5 Pampers Easy Up Pants cost more than the supermarkets own but for the quality/dryness i am quite happy paying the price and would stock up if i had a voucher or they were on offer. My son will use less and less Easy up Pants than the usual Pampers nappies as he will be potty training so won't cost as much as I am paying now. I did find it
difficult to get the size 5/6 in the normal Pampers nappies in the maxi boxes.

dogindisguise · 25/07/2013 21:46

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

Easy to use. Hold a lot of wee.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

No, only normal nappies.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I try to avoid talking about nappies where possible although I have been known to talk about cloth nappies with fellow cloth users.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

Not especially.

Age of child - two years eight months.

PooFlower · 25/07/2013 22:24

Q1 What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants?

Really easy to use on my wriggling child who hates nappy change.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Yes, very easy to use, A little harder to wrap and contain poo after use but I just made sure I had a nappy bag to hand.

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your children?

Yes I used similar with my older daughter.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up Pants to other parents?

Yes I would, they made changing quicker and easier compared to regular nappies.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I find them expensive compered to other the supermarket brand nappies that I usually use.

My little girl is 18months and we used size 5.

Sa11ee · 25/07/2013 22:35

What was your overall impression of Pampers Easy Up Pants? Would
you use them again? If so, why? If not, why not?

These were very easy to use, great for a little girl who hates nappy changing, but I won't be using them with her again for a while, they were really too big and not snug on her waist at all, so when I came to change her she seemed very damp, I just don't think they are quite right for smaller babies even though she was in the weight range.

Q2 Did you find Pampers Easy Up Pants convenient and easy to use or not?

Very convenient

Q3 Have you ever used similarly designed nappies before with any of your
children? If so, how did Pampers Easy Up Pants compare?

I haven't tried other makes.

Q4 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Easy Up
Pants to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would recommend them for older babies, because they are convenient, easy to use and great for toilet training children; but I wouldn't recommend them for little ones.

Q5 We've included some info on how much Pampers Easy Up Pants cost
below - do you think that they're good value for money or not? Why?

I think Pampers are quite expensive in general, and Easy Ups more so, we always buy them when they are on promotion.

Sa11ee · 25/07/2013 22:37

Should have said -we tested size 4s, my little girl is 13 months and about 20lbs

haylz00 · 25/07/2013 22:48

Excellent product, kept baby very dry.

MummyBtothree · 26/07/2013 08:45

I still haven't received mine yet!!

Susey2boo · 26/07/2013 08:54

Son is 8 1/2 mths and tested size 4

Q1) little apprehensive at first whether it was a good idea to use pull ups just yet but once started very easy to use and absorbent

Q2) yes very easy to use, I would say not as easy to wrap up if its a dirty nappy but I use nappy bags anyway so not a huge problem

Q3) no not used pull ups before this

Q4) yes definitely, I've tried other pampers nappies and I would say I prefer these when it comes to the most absorbent

Q5) only buy pampers when on offer as otherwise they are very expensive

Nicjayne75 · 26/07/2013 09:54

I've tried the pull ups and find them quite good

Miasmama22 · 26/07/2013 09:56

I have used all the nappies an I think they are great, easy to use and take off and no leakages so I will definetly will be buying these from now on.

hayley11 · 26/07/2013 10:00
  1. I thought the easy ups were extremely useful!! No more fighting with my 19 month to lay down and get nappies on especially after bath time!!
  2. I found them very convenient and extremely easy to use! 3)I have only tried Huggies swimmers, not great to be honest 4)I would definitely recommend for older babies who are on the go and don't seem to have time to sit about anymore as they're so busy learning and playing!!
  3. I only ever use pampers and they are at the higher price range but I would still pay for them!
BevJepson · 26/07/2013 10:03

I have just finished using the packs of pampers pull ups and overall they seemed quite good

My son is two and a half and fitted fine in the size 5 pull ups. I don't think they are as absorbant as the actifit inormally use as a couple of times there was a little bit of leakage after a couple of hours wear which never happened with the actifit.

My son liked them as I called them big boy nappies and told them they are like pants. He liked he could pull them up himself.

I think they would be better with another cartoon character on the front as my son didn't have a clue who Dora was but when watching adverts on the tv for huggies pull ups always like the cars logo on the front of the nappies.

I think I will continue to buy pull up nappies now as since going back to actifit he has been trying to take them off. Will only be using the pull ups during the day tho as would be worried of them leaking if e wore one to bed.

I have never tried any other brands of pull ups but will be trying the huggies ones as are on offer at the moment. I think the regular price of these pampers nappies is quite expensive but will stock up when I see them on offer. I would recommend these nappies to a fried because of ease of use.

annalou1986 · 26/07/2013 10:04

Q1 I liked them, nice design and alot easier to get on the. I thought. Was not impressed with night time use, found me girl covered in wee a couple of times. Ended up using them for day use only
Q2 Yes
Q3 No these are the first pants we have tried
Q4 I would for day use and potty training but pampers baby dry are better for night use
Q5 I only buy pampers when they are on multi buy offers as I do find them expensive

ashleysplash89 · 26/07/2013 10:06
