NOW CLOSED: Tesco’s Naturally Powered (antibacterial spray or non-bio washing powder) product testers review thread

AnnMumsnet · 01/05/2012 14:54

This thread is for the 1000 Mumsnetters who are trying out the Naturally Powered range of cleaning products by Tesco.

If you don't know about these products, here's what Tesco has to say:

"In the past, green cleaning products have been let down by their performance. Working closely with a team of chemists, scientists and environmental experts, we have created the Naturally Powered range of eco cleaning products - specially formulated to have a reduced impact on the environment than other leading products and with the cleaning performance you'd expect."

Mumsnetters have been testing either the antibacterial spray or the non-bio washing powder. In addition, all testers received a trial-sized sachet of washing up liquid.

If you are a tester, please state which product you were testing and answer the questions below - feel free to also add any other comments you may have.

Everyone who adds their comments to this thread will be entered into a prize draw, where one person will win £200 of Tesco vouchers.

Questions:

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Ok I tested the washing powder, here are my thoughts:

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them? Had not heard of them

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products? I have a baby and a preschooler in my house so the machine is on every day and often full of stained clothes! So I can honestly say I gave the washing powder a good testing and I am happy with how it performed! I done the washing on cool wash (as it mentions on pack that will clean at 15degrees) and to my surprise it did really well! I didnt like the smell BUT I am very fussy with smells and anything overpowering is off putting to me. The clothes came out lovely and soft.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use? I would say just as well, if not better! Infact if we are talking about cool wash deffo better!

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not? Not so important, unfortunately in this day and age price has become a more important factor to our family. So no it would not sway my decision to buy.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not? Yes if the fragrance was toned down and the price is right it will be a regular on my shopping list

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing? The smell was overpowering if that was tweeked the powder would be fab!

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes I would, it really performed well on my wash loads and I know other mummy friends would be pleased to hear of a product that does what it says on the box!

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?

Packaging was 'pleasant' although not sure I'd notice it on a shelf in the shop

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I always use antibacterial sprays in the kitchen and bathrooms, I found this one to be very good. I liked the smell, it was less artificial than some I have used. I liked the two way nossel, the spray function was very good. Some have a rather weak 'spray'effect but this one works really well. I'm not sure if the antibacterial sprays work but it makes me happy to use them and this one works as well as the Dettox one and better than the usual Tesco/Asda own brand. I used the sample of washing up liquid and did not find this to be very good, it was ok but when I do dishes I like the suds to have a stronger smell (it helps diminish the cooking smells!). The liquid washed the dishes ok but it wasn't as good as Fairy although probably on a par with some supermarket own brands

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?

The antibacterial spray worked very well, better than most I have tried. I liked the smell and I will buy it again. The washing up liquid was not as good as my usual brand and I probably won't buy it again

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
Although I do appreciate how important it is to be green it is not the top of my list when choosing products. I am always looking for the best offers and brands that have been recommended to me. I do 'think' (rather than worry) about the environment but not enough for me to change the way I shop if it is going to cost me more money
Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
I will buy the antibacterial spray again because I like it (rather than because it is green). I will not buy the washing up liquid again as I didn't think it was as good as other brands I have used

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
The antibacterial spray was fine, it needs no improvement. The washing up liquid needs to smell better and do a better job at cleaning dishes
Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend the antibacterial sparay but not the washing up liquid

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?

They're alright - I already use the toilet cleaner and bathroom spray. I had never tried an 'eco' laundry powder.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?

The paper measuring cup is useful.
The smell is rather too strong for me. Especially when I opened the delivery box.
It did not wash through the drawer properly. I tried using less powder, and spreading it out more. We have soft water.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?

My skin reacts to most laundry powders and liquids, both when adding it to the machine and when hanging out the wet washing. However, I appear to react less strongly to the Naturally Powered powder than to the standard Tesco Non-Bio that I normally use.

The main issue is that the powder did not wash through the drawer. I estimate only about one third of the amount in the drawer actually washed through into the machine. On a following wash I stirred it with a pencil while the water was flowing to get it through, but decided that was too much fuss and so have been adding it directly to the drum.

As the powder did not wash through properly, my husband's mountain biking jersey did not get clean and my hill running top still smelled a bit (despite the powder's strong perfume). When the powder is added to the drum, the cleaning appears equal to the standard non-bio.

It did a good job of cleaning the blanket the cat was sick on.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?

I have bought 'natural' products in the past as we have a septic tank.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?

I won't buy the laundry powder unless the problem of clumping in the drawer is solved. I will keep using the products I already do.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?

A little less perfume.
Fix the formula so it washes through the drawer.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Not until the clogging in the drawer problem is solved.

NoSleepTonight · 08/05/2012 11:44

Q1. Had never heard of Tesco's, though have used a few others previously.

Q2. I had the washing powder, it cleaned well, though some remained in my drawer and I'm certain I didn't use too much.

Q3. Not as good as my usual as there was no real just washed smell left on the clothing after and also had the powder in drawer issue.

Q4. I like to try and use eco / green products due to my childrens eczema / allergies.

Q5. Yes as it did get things clean, may have to try it a few more times, but if the drawer kept having residue left then I'd stop using it.

Q6. Easier to dissolve.

Q7. Yes I would suggest they try them as none of my ds's have been irritated by the powder - and I currently have to use 2 different ones! Though we don't talk about cleaning really!

worriedandpanicking · 08/05/2012 11:56

Washing powder:

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?

I hadn't heard of the before.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?

The smell was very nice, quite strong in the packaging, but not so strong on the clothes. The product worked just as well as other leading brands of washing powder. I particularly liked the measuring cup that was included, I have realised I was using way too much powder before!

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?

The product worked just as well.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?

They are very important, although I am not clear on how this product is eco.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?

I may continue to buy this powder along with other powders i use.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?

I would have more information on the box about how the powder is eco.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, as this product works just as well as other powders i have used.

I have tested the Washing Powder

Q1. Never noticed this product before but have used similar in the past

Q2. The initial smell was quite strong but diminished after the wash which I liked. I didn't notice the 30gr line on the cup so thought the whole cup was 30gr as it is indicated on the back. The product worked fine and clothes felt clean and washed. The powder did leave residue in the drawer.

Q3. This product performed the same as my usual powder, didn't notice any difference.

Q4. If not, why not? I like to use products that are better for the environment and skin but it would only affect my decision to buy it if the price was similar to my regular powder. Price-quality would be my decider.

Q5. Depending on the price, yes. as it works fine.

Q6. I would get rid of the plastic bag inside the box and make it clear that the measuring cup is not 30gr but the line is, so the instruction to use 30g (1cup) is misleading.

Q7. Yes I would recommend it as it worked well.

SiameseIfYouPlease · 08/05/2012 12:10

I tested the washing powder

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them? i thought they were just a bit of a gesture towards ecocredentials

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products? it was good - performed just as good on colours, didnt soak DD's whites very well but then nothing really does. I liked the smell - fresh and not fake. Washed two pillows this morning and they dont seem overpoweringly scented. Good all round

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use? see above

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not? really important, i usually buy ecover. I looked at the ingredients of both and it seems a good alternative

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not? yes,i'll try some other bits especially where significantly cheaper than Ecover but comparable in ingredients

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing? none i can think of

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not? yes - on price it seems good

Ineedadollar · 08/05/2012 12:42

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
I didn't know they existed! When the bottle arrived it had leaked all over the box so my initial impression wasn't great.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I liked it, it cleaned fine and smelt fine.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
It seemed to do as good a job as the usual Tesco product i use.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
it would depend on the price. For a few pence I would switch to this naturally powered range, but if it were say a pound more expensive I wouldn't.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
It depends on how the price compares to the normal one.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
Packaging that didn't leak! It worried me that it might leak all over my other shopping if i had bought it at the supermarket.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, with a warning about the packaging. I liked it and it worked well so if a friend wanted an eco friendly alternative i would suggest it.

aliciaflorrick · 08/05/2012 13:12

They worked just as well, if not better than my other cleaning products.

I'm not that bothered by green credentials, I just like the product to work and not cost too much.

I will buy it if it's in my price range. I don't know how much it costs yet compared to other products.

I think the smell, I wasn't keen on the chemical smell.

aliciaflorrick · 08/05/2012 13:18

Actually, my bottle had leaked in the box too. I just thought it might have been damaged in transit but looks like a couple of other people had a similar problem.

CoffeeGoneColdAgain · 08/05/2012 13:27

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
A.. Never heard of it before, so was pleased to take part in the trial.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
A.. Very happy, no powder residue in the machine or drawer, smelt lovely and fresh.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
A.. I do most washes on 50 and to be honest haven't noticed any difference from my usual soap powder.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
A.. No figures available so unsure how green the product is, wouldn't really affect my decision, as when on a budget you get what you can for your money!

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
A.. If its on offer then Yes, if its normal price and I can get more for my money from another product then No.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
A.. No inside bag necessary, if its supposed to be a green product then the bag is not needed, a cardboard box does just fine.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
A.. Yes I guess so, the powder cleaned my clothes, smelt nice so I see no reason why not, however I don't think I'd recommend it as a 'green' product.

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 08/05/2012 13:33

I was testing the washing powder

  1. I had not noticed this product before so had no opinion.
2 & 3. After use my overall opinion was a good one. My clothes came out clean using less powder than with my ordinary brand. I thought the smell of the powder was slightly bleachy but on washed clothes it was nice & clean & lasted well. Clothes felt as soft as with my usual products but not any softer.
  1. Green issues are relatively important to me but not usually a motivation to swap products if the cost is not comparable.
  2. I may continue to buy depending on the price.
  3. The packaging could be improved. The plastic bag inside the box was useless & powder leaked from the box.
  4. I would recommend this product to a friend if they were interested in green issues.
Snacka · 08/05/2012 13:43

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them? That they were expensive and not particularly effective.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products? The spray smells lovely - even my husband commented on how nice it smelled! I was very pleased with how the spray worked.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use? I think it worked as well as my usual cleaner (Mr Muscle!)

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
I do try to buy eco products where possible, and like the idea of the own brand Naturally Powered products.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not? I will buy it, if it is reasonably priced - unfortunately that has to be my main consideration at the moment.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing? It would be useful to know if the spray is pet friendly! As a new puppy owner, I am having to check everything that I use around her.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not? Based on the sample, yes, I would. The combination of eco credentials and the lovely smell, as well as the good overall performance!

Thanks for giving me a chance to test out your product!!

onablackcloud · 08/05/2012 13:52

I tested the cleaning spray.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
Not ever heard of them.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I thought the product cleaned very well, the smell was nice too. The spray bottled wasn't very sturdy though and I feel I have to be careful when pulling the trigger in case I break it.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
I thought that the product cleaned just as well as another well known brand I use.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
I think there has to be a trade off between green products and performance. Currently I buy off performance but I am quite impressed with this one.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
Yes

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
I think the bottle could be improved, or rather the spray itself which was quite weak and the trigger was a bit flimsy.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
I wouldn't bring the subject up myself but if asked would recommend!

Memoo · 08/05/2012 14:06

I was testing the anti-bacterial spray.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them? I wasn't aware of them

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products? Im rarely impressed with clean products but I love this! It smells gorgeous, nice and natural rather than them chemically smell most anti-bac's usually have. It cleans brilliantly and leaves no residue. Also the lovely smell hangs around for ages.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use? much better in every way

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not? *reasonably important but I usually buy things based on performance and value for money. The eco aspect is an added bonus.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not? yes and I already have bought it

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing? None

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, definitely

Testing the anit-bac spray.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
I had no opinion as I hadn't heard of them, but I do use ecover and method sometimes so thought they'd be OK.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I liked the spray. It smelt nice and didn't leave a residue on the ledges. I liked the fact you don't need to rinse.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
Itworked as well on normal things like ledges and worktops. Not as well on the hob.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
I prefer to use products with less chemicals so it is important to me.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
Probably not because I don't shop at Tesco and also because I don't know if its tested on animals or not.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
Be clear about animal testing.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would, but I never find myself discussing cleaning products with friends!

I've been using the washing powder for approx. a week.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
The fragrance was quite pleasant but I doubted it's ability to remove stains.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I like the pleasant gentle fragrance of my washing after using this product. So far all items have been clean but I haven't had the chance to wash anything with food stains yet, I'll update my report when I have.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
So far everything has been as clean as it is after washing with my usual product.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
I like to use "green" products, as my daughter and I have very sensitive skin and also I would like to do my bit to prevent contributing further to environmental damage but often they just aren't up to the job. So I buy some "green products" and some "normal".

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
If I am still happy with the product after washing some clothing with food stains I will continue to buy the Naturally Powered powder.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
I prefer to use washing liquid to powder, as it doesn't clog up my washing machine drawer.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would recommend the product at present.

latrucha · 08/05/2012 14:48

Testing the washing powder.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
I hadn't heard of them.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
I'm favouraby impressed. I was sceptical about a powdwer as other I have used left a residue. This didn't. I liked the smell. I liked the cup. I thought the measure could be more useful on the inside. I thas not, so far, aggravated my or my daughter's eczema.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
Good. I usually use a non-green liquid ad it performed just as well, perhaps slightly better. I didn't use a stain remover with it and did have to put some things back in the wash but maybe not as many as usual when washing withhout a stain remover.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
It would but I haven't looked into how green the ingredients are so it's a bit superficial on my part.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
Depenig on price I would if and when our new Tescos open. I would like to use a green range but find others expensive and unreliable.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
Maybe fragrance a bit less strong. Put the measure on the inside of the cup.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes.

We've been testing the Anti-bac spray for just over a week.

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?

Never heard of them.

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?

I think the spray is reasonably for normal 'wipe around' type cleaning (wiping up the kitchen surfaces after prepping a meal, kitchen table after dcs dinner etc). It doesn't seem to budge stains or real dirt on the hob or anywhere else. The smell is a bit strong and 'chemically' - I would have preferred it to be unperfumed or a little more natural. I really don't like the bottle dripping all over my hands every time I squeeze it slightly - but on the plus side it didn't trigger my normal allergic reaction!

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?

We normally just use hot water and a damp cloth (sometime with a little washing up liquid) to wipe down the kitchen between the times I clean it. This worked just as well (but I would expect it to!) but not so well that I would start using it instead of the more effective cleaning products I use for 'real' cleaning.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?

They are important but I had some concerns about the sourcing and type of ingredients. As someone else pointed out earlier in this thread, just because something is 'based on natural ingredients' doesn't make it environmentally friendly. I was pleased to see the palm oil was sustainable but would prefer it didn't use any at all. I would mind the plastic bottle less if it was more robust and came with refills.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?

I would think about it, although I'm not sure we need a spray to do a job we currently manage with water. The biggest obstacle is that I looked for the item on my weekly shop (in a super-large, superstore) and it wasn't on the shelves anywhere. And none of the staff had ever heard of it.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?

Improve the packaging- loads of liquid had leaked in transit and the bottle leaks every time it is handled. I would like it to be more robust and refillable. And a less 'chemically' perfume please.

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably - I didn't have an allergic reaction to the spray, and it's convenient for mopping up daily mess, especially since you don't have to rinse it off. But I don't normally discuss cleaning products with my friends...

Q1. What was your opinion of the Naturally Powered products before using them?
Had never heard of them

Q2. After using the products, what was your over all opinion? Did the products work? Were you happy with the performance? Did you like the smell and feel of the products?
Performance wise, I saw no noticeable difference from my usual powder... I think it may have been slightly worse on the whites, which included cricket whites with green knees. There was no smell and the items felt soft but not particularly clean.

Q3. How did the products compare to your usual cleaning products? Did it work just as well, better or worse than the products you usually use?
Well I normally use Tesco Non Bio Tablets, performance was about the same, but the smell is slightly nicer on the usual tablets.

Q4. How important are the green credentials of the Naturally Powered range to you? Would this affect your decision to buy? If so, why? If not, why not?
Green credentials are important, but not to the detriment of actual cleaning, otherwise the need to use more spot cleaner or wash longer counteracts it.

Q5. Will you continue to buy the Tesco Naturally Powered range? If so, why? If not why not?
Depends on price but probably not as its not currently available in my local tesco.

Q6. What, if any, improvements would you make to the Naturally Powered products you were testing?
Slightly more fragrance

Q7. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend the products to a friend? If so, why? If not, why not?
If I was specifically asked to recommend a greener washing powder, I would say this was adequate. No more than that.
