Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
Outer packaging was squashed and damaged, very flimsy. The syringe itself isn't really necessary. If a very precise amount had to be applied then maybe there would be a point to it, but I thought it unnecessary.
Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
It didn't feel like a 'quality' product. It stayed on the skin and felt tacky for a while. I definitely knew I was wearing it. It felt quite watery to apply, and a small amount was rubbed all over as opposed to absorbed in a specific area IYSWIM.
Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not? Lack of sleep, children (oh they do age you!), stress, the sun and dehydration (that's a temporary contributor though).
Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion? It puts me right off! What on earth is the point? Snake venom isn't something I aspire to slap on. Most products emphasis the natural elements, so it goes against the grain to emphasis something that is both weird and synthetic.
Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what? The consistency. Its a lotion, not a cream. A small pump action would be better to dispense a small amount of product to be applied to a specific area (unless it is an all over lotion and I've missed the point). Also I didn't want to put moisturiser on top as it felt too much. Am I meant to?
Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why? Yes, its good value for money and yes, I'll use Aldi's face cream again. As far as the results go, I am undecided, but I am sticking with it. In a couple of weeks I'll report back on the important stuff (which is if I look 10 years younger!)
Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why? Yes, because its worth a try at that price. I'll probably get a moisturiser from Aldi and use them together for the next couple of weeks.

Ohforfoxsake · 10/04/2012 14:57

Oh I meant to say, I had a very unattractive cold sore scab on my top lip and I'm sure this helped it heal! Worth it for that alone. :)

Haribolicious · 10/04/2012 20:31

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
As others have said....the outer packaging was crushed and damaged when it arrived - if there were any descriptions/instructions on the outer packaging then I wasn't able to read! I also found the syringe too gimmiky and although I actually felt it made it easier to just distribute the right amount (rather than pouring too much out of a bottle) I couldn't help but think ejaculating face cream every time I used! Grin

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
I was actually pleasantly surprised with this cream. It had a nice fragrance and went on smoothly....it did feel quite thin but it absorbed well and my skin didn't feel heavy or greasy afterwards which it has with more expensive creams

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?
Definitely sun exposure and dehydration along with stress and lack of sleep!

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?
Again, as others have pointed out....I wasn't aware that it had the synthetic snake venom ingredient. If I had then it might put me off.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?
I didn't like the syringe but did feel that it helped distribute the right amount of cream so rather than a pot, I'd prefer a tube.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?
I think this is good value as I quite liked it....I didn't need to use a lot each time so this meant that the cream lasted for me anyway....I was surprised to hear that others found they used up the cream quite quickly.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why
Yes, I would definitely bring up the fact that I'd tried the cream....I would give them my opinion as I feel that it was a good cream for me and I'd definitely use it again. I'm not sure I'd recommend as such but I'd tell others about it and give my reasons for why I liked it....I have friends who prefer a heavier cream and feel that this gives a cream quality, whereas I prefer a lighter cream that doesn't make me feel greasy or like my skin is caked in it.

Katz · 10/04/2012 22:16

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
as others have commented the packaging was bashed due to posting, so first impressions weren't great.
Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
similar, a little bit thinner but went on ok.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?
i think genetics are the biggest factor, the cream felt no better or worse than other products at fighting the signs of aging.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?
I hadn't noticed it - but they put so many random things in creams it wouldn't have bothered me had i noticed

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?
liked that its a dispensor rather than pot otherwise its fine. outer packaging needs to be more robut esp as you're likely to pick this up with the weekly shop and it'll get thrown in with the shopping.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?
seems good, not likely to use again as nearest aldi is miles away, if Ocado stocked it then yes as thats where i shop

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?
probably

Tranquilidade · 10/04/2012 22:19

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
I liked it, probably a bit gimmicky and aimed to give the message "Botox in a bottle" I guess but I got used to it after a few days and began to quite like it.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
It was nice. Smelt ok and sank in well. I have used far more expensive creams and honestly could not see a difference in texture, etc

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?
I think the fact I was abroad a lot when younger has made a big impact on my skin. I think it is all of the above factors, genes and diet. I don't think I felt anything as definite as fighting it but have not used it long enough to say.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?
Again I think it is a gimmick. I would imagine any venom to be quite a complex molecule so can't imagine it could pass through the skin. I think it is to suggest a similarity to Botox which sounds good but may not work so don't think it would unfluence me either way.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?
No, I liked it. You could put it in a tube with a narrow nozzle to reduce packaging but would lose the "statement" of the syringe.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?
Yes, it is excellent value. I have read good things about Aldi creams so might well try it again. I tried a moisturiser once before but hated the smell of that one.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?
Yes. It is a nice cream at a good price. Only time will tell if it has any great effects

Thanks for the sample!

Jux · 10/04/2012 23:15

I certainly wouldn't say no to another tube sent by mistake! If I could get it on line it's more likely I'd get another.

I have a fairly deep furrow in my brow which I've had since I was 11. I don't think it's been massively reduced, but if I could carry on with the cream for sometime longer I might have excessively good things to report!

(Aldi, that was quite a big hint, by the way Grin)

fishewen · 11/04/2012 09:15

Mine didn't arrive until the end of March - thought it wan't coming. Took it skiing but used aftersun instead, so have only used it for a few says but.....

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
The packaging lookd and felt cheap and was damaged on arrival - looked like it was trying to be something it wasn't! I thought it looked medical but again, cheap, and trying to be something it wasn't. I liked the fact it doesd an amount, but couldn't get to grips with squirting small dots as instructed. I squirted out one shot, smoothed it in, and then did the same with a second one. It is also very overpackaged!
Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
About in the middle really - better than some but not as good as others. I liked the smell of it, and it didn't feel greasy, plus it rubbed in well.
Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?
The sun I think! Didn't feel it was helping much, although I like the feel of it and am using it now instead of my after sun now I am home.
Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion? I didn't even notice! Wouldn't put me off but it sounds a bit gimicky.
Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what? The packaging! Design, and quality of outer.
Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?Not bad value at all, but let's see how long it will last. 10ml doesn't seem very much, although the packaging is large.
Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?
Not sure yet - need to use it for longer.

CroissantNeuf · 12/04/2012 18:43

I answered the questions earlier but just wanted to update after a couple of weeks use.

I've been impressed that I haven't erupted in spots as I quite often find that lotions and potions do this to me. I haven't found it greasy and its doesn't feel as if its clogging the pores.

Its difficult to tell if its improving the wrinkles as its only been 2-3 weeks use and the wrinkles are pretty established so I would expect to have to use it for longer to make a great difference! I think my skin does 'feel' better in the areas I've been using it though.

Earlier I said that I liked the syringe packaging (and still do) but one downside is that I've realised that you can't see how much of the product is left in the tube so don't know if you're about to run out (a major PITA when you're not often anywhere near an Aldi)

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?

the packaging was quirky but a bit cheap looking. overall impression was ok, but i would have preferred a see through tube so i could see how much product i have left.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?

great! goes on smoothly, feels lovely on my skin..not too lighht or heavy and a little goes a long way.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?

all of the above! i didn't feel like my skin was being de aged as i used the cream, but it did feel nice, and my skin really has improved in appearance. dh (who notices bugger all!!) told me my skin looked all glowy and my wrinkley eyes have gone!

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?

tbh, i didn't pay any attention to it at all!! it sounds a bit gimicky.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?

the packaging...clear so i can see how much is left please! it would be great to have an spf in there too so it could be used as a day cream.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?

i would use the cream again...i like it a lot. it seems good value at the moment...i will be interested to see how long the cream lasts and whether my skin likes it in the longer term.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?

yes...i would, based on the fact that it has improved the texture and appearance of my skin, and that it is affordable to try.

thanks for letting me have a go!!

softpaw · 13/04/2012 12:54

how do i become a research panellist?

mum2supercharlie · 13/04/2012 21:30

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?

Looks good and extremely professional given the price. I imagine the syringe type container is good for getting the last drop out of the bottle!

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?

This is the first anti wrinkle formula I have used. I currently use a Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream and Lacura has a suprisingly similar texture.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?

Smoking, genetics, sun, stress. The cream felt soothing.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?

I thought this was interesting and I was not put off as it was clear that this was synthetic.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?

If the cream is meant to be put on in a syringe type manner the weight of the container is very heavy. I found the cream to be very light but in turn this meant it felt greasy. I started using less and this helped along with allowing a drying time of a few minutes before applying any make up.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?

Very good value, I'm not sure how much of an effect it will have in the long run, I am going to keep applying and testing it! My reasons to continue are that my skin looks improved after application and the texture also. The only thing I will now do is change the way I apply the cream, but this is due to my son.......! I was holding the syringe like container up to my laughter lines and at that very moment my son tripped on the voile panels (modern version of net curtains!), they fell down, leaving me in the window looking like I was doing a DIY syringing of botox!

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?

Yes, definitely for the price it was an impressive package from the start to the improved appearance of my skin after application. And a little goes a long, long way!

Mmmcoffee · 14/04/2012 22:00

Has anyone else noticed a change in their skin to a more... 'teenage' appearance? I've been using the cream just over 10 days and my skin has been getting steadily more greasy, and I've been getting more spots! I've got my fingers crossed this means the wrinkles will start to disappear... Grin

UKcanuck · 15/04/2012 22:28

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
I liked the initial look of the packaging but found the plastic outer cylinder very flimsy when touched. This put me off a bit but the visual impression was positive.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
It felt a bit thin and went on shiny, which I wasn't expecting. Most wrinkle creams I've tried have been richer and been more "dabby"; they haven't "spread" as much as this one.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?
I think all the factors listed are equally important contributors to skin ageing. I can't say that this cream felt like it was helping on those factors, though; I didn't really think of it like that, I thought of it as a wrinkle reducer rather than combating life stress.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?
Didn't like the sound of it. Would quite possibly have not purchased this product because of that ingredient. I couldn't think of any positive attribute of that ingredient that made it attractive for me.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?
The applicator is useless. I liked the clinical impression of it but in practice it was fiddly and not worth the trouble. I would have preferred a pot or tube. The syringe style looked like it should aid precision of application but it was difficult to handle and a waste of time.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?
That's good value for money. I'm not a big spender on cosmetic products and it's certainly in my price range. I would not be put off by price but I probably wouldn't have hugely high expectations at that price level. I don't shop at Aldi usually (none nearby) but if I could get it elsewhere then I would.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?
I'm still wrinkled... :-). I would definitely tell people I had tried it and would suggest they give it a go. It certainly hasn't done any harm and it might even have helped!

Thank you for the sample!

maloofysmum · 16/04/2012 12:05

Sorry for delay in posting, received mine a couple of weeks ago but have been on my hols so only this week have I started using the cream.

Q1 - The packaging was good, no over the top methods of application, good diagrams also to help guide. Will say though the plastic was a bit rubbish as the package was broken when I opened the envelope, the product was fine though.
Q2 - The texture was thin almost runny, so compared to some other creams felt odd but did go on well and "soaked in" quickly.
Q3 - Skin ageing - biggest contributor for me without a doubt is kids :o) stress of life, worrying about money etc and finally too much sun, not wearing enough suncream...
Q4 - Didn't like the sound of the venom, but he ho will give anything a shot, as it's synthetic wasn't that fussed.
Q5 - Difficult to apply ended up using my fingers which perhaps defeated the object Hmm
Q6 - It is great value for money and is within my comfort budget for skin care. Use to be a Clinique user but got a bit too prices A.K. (after kids). Have never shopped in Aldi but might be tempted to venture in if this stuff works its magic.
Q7 - Will recommend as I love recommending new products to friends and family, time will tell if I'm completely convinced of its benefits. I have a slight tan at the mo so think you always look better as it hides a multitude of sins Wink.

Thanks for the chance to try it.

WowOoo · 16/04/2012 12:29

Q1 Packaging was fine and quite simple. Overall impression was that I didn't really like the injection type bottle. But, I could easily get used to it.

Q2 Not too thick which was good as i don't like thick creams for day use. I usually only put moisturiser on when I have very dry skin. It was not as good as what I usually use for dry skin.

Q3 Think that the sun, smoking, late night and drinking too much and eating a poor diet give you bad skin. Not sure that a cream could offset damage if you don't do other things sensibly.

Q4 Hadn't noticed that it had venom in it. I think it would put me off a bit. But I was intrigued.

Q5 perhaps making it a bit more clear about the venom. Surely this is a selling point. This is the type of thing my sister in law would love. I'll tell her about it.

Q6 It seems like good value to me. I pay over that usually. If the results had been better I'd consider buying it.

Q7 I'd be interested to know how it worked for other people. I'd certainly tell them that it seems like good value. Overall, because it had no effect I don't think I'd be too positive about it.

nelsonscolumn · 16/04/2012 12:54

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?

Agree with others in that the packaging was damaged on arrival and looked very flimsy.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?

The formula seemed quite thin so I wan;t sure how it should be used. Under moisturiser like a serum or instead of. I ended up just applying to the areas of concern such as forhead and prominent lines.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?

Sun damage, smoking and bad nutition probably the biggest contributors in skin aging. The cream made my skin sting slightly so not at all soothing.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?

The idea of snake venom is not appealling and would possible put me off.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?

Better packaging and insructions how to use.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?

Very good value compared to others I use. However I will wait to see what results I get beofre deciding whether to use again.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?

I would suggest others try it for that price.

lancasterkaren · 16/04/2012 13:05

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging? The packaging is smart ? i felt though there was to much of it. Can?t really see the point of all the fiddly pumps etc for price. Could have created simple tube and would be just as effective

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used? It worked well. It absorbed quickly into my skin and there wasn?t and stickiness afterwards

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not? I feel my main contributes are sun, lack of sleep and just age. I felt the product was helping to hold off further signs of aging. It was also targeting current issues.

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion? It is synthetic so have so issues as its just a chemical created in a lab.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what? The packaging is just silly. For the price thy could have easily sold this cheaper and with simpler dispenser. Hence selling much more.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why? Fantastic value. Most eye creams / wrinckle busters are well over £10.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why? Yes ? its a great starting point for many starting to fight the signs of aging. For the price its affordable to everyone.

divakerry · 16/04/2012 19:09

love the package, it looks very stylish. My hubby and i use mine as we are of different age, ethnicity and sex. We think it is OK and not a great deal different from all the other top brands out there. The price is fair and would definitely tell friends about it.

Sidge · 16/04/2012 20:04

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging? I didn't mind the 'syringe' applicator but the other packaging was unnecessary. The 'syringe' was rather plasticky and gimmicky. The subtle scent was nice.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used? I tend to use cheap and cheerful creams with no wild claims so was interested in the Aldi cream. I liked the consistency and it went on smoothly. I found it did tighten my skin slightly (but not in an uncomfortable way) and brightened my complexion.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not? Lack of sleep makes my skin worse, as does a lack of fresh air and exercise. I don't expect the cream to change that!

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion? I thought it sounded interesting but hard to imagine what effect it would have. It didn't put me off and actually piqued my interest.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what? Ditch the gimmicky 'syringe' applicator. The cream itself is fine.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why? I think it's great value. I would be tempted to buy it again but only if I'm passing an Aldi - my nearest store isn't very close and I doubt I'd go there just for this.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why? Yes I'd mention it to friends, it's good value and I liked it.

Zuzi · 16/04/2012 20:14

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging? - Looks like a mid range face cream.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used? - I have been using diprobase for a number of years now so anything with a 'face cream' smell makes me feel quite strange.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not? - I think it is also genetic. Some people just grow older more gracefully than others ...

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion? - It certainly didn't put me off.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what? - I actually didn't like the way it is described as 'a precision cannula' - I have a significant needle phobia and this description on the tube made me cringe.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why? - That is a very good price.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why? - Good price.

Update : Still using the cream - about 10 days now. Feels nice to use but not entirely sure it is reducing any wrinkles! Also wondering how long it will last as you can't see how much is in there!

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?
The packaging did appear to be cheap, but the cream tube/applier itself seemed good. Like the locking mechanism on it as it meant it cant squirt out when your not using it. I prefered it to tubes of cream
Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?
I'm not a big cream user except a prescribed cream, but I did like it. It smelt lovely and was very easy to apply. Although I havent noticed my wrinckles dissapearing, my skin does feel nice when i've used it

I'd say stress and lack of sleep. I did feel that this cream made my skin feel better. I'm not sure if it felt like it was fighting the ageing product, but I'm not sure any creams really do that. I did like the cream though, and it has converted me into using it more
Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?
Did'nt even realise that was part of the ingredient at all! It certainly wouldn't put me off though*
Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?
Probably the outer packaging but that is it. The plastic tubing was too flimsy, even for a non expensive product
Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?
Very VERY good value for money and I would use it again
Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?
I will and have recomended it just because it seems like a nice face cream to use and is great value for money. As I said earlier I will buy this again

I started using mine about three weeks ago and have just finished it, I would more if I was near an Aldi or if it was available online.

Q1 What was your overall impression of Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream? What did you think about the packaging?

The packaging was dreadful, when mine arrived the box was all squashed and a lot of the lettering had come off. I didnt really like the syringe bottle, would have prefered a normal tube or pot. The syringe didnt dispense easily either.

Q2 How did it compare with other face creams you've used?

It wasnt too greasy and had a nice fragrance. I would have liked it a bit thicker though.

Q3 What do you think is the biggest contributor to skin ageing (apart from getting older obviously!)? Lack of sleep? Stress? Sun exposure? Pollution? Did this cream feel like it was soothing or fighting the ageing process at all when you used it or not?

Hard water and stress I think. Also being outdoors in the wind and rain (damn school runs) can strip my skin of any moisture it did have! The cream did feel particularly soothing after my hurried routine of facial wash and quick towel dry! I didnt notice any major differences to my wrinkles though!!

Q4 What do you think about the synthetic snake venom ingredient in the cream?! Did it put you off initially or encourage you to use it?! Or did it not influence your opinion?

It didnt make any difference really, the main reason I wanted to try the cream was because of the price.

Q5 Is there anything about the cream that you think could be improved? If so, what?

The packaging.

Q6 A 10ml tube of Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream costs £4.99 - do you think that it represents good value for money or not? Why? Do you think you'll use the face cream again? Why?

I think its good value, but it doesnt make a vast difference whereas some of the more expensive creams actually do seem to tighten and plump up your skin.
I probably wouldnt use it again, I prefer Avon anti wrinkle cream for a cheao and cheerful version as its thicker.

Q7 If it came up in conversation, do you think you'd recommend Aldi's Lacura Wrinkle Stop face cream to others and why?

Probably beacuse of the price but I would stress that its no wonder cream!
