Quaker would like you to try their Oat So Simple Kids Chocolate flavour porridge with your child(ren). Here's what they say about the product: "Quaker Oat So Simple Kids comes in delicious, child-friendly varieties including Chocolate, which has 50% less sugar than the average Chocolate flavoured cereal (click here for nutritional information). Quaker Oat So Simple Kids range provides a tasty source of wholegrain and is quick and easy to prepare - from sachet to bowl in just two minutes."

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child who would like to give Quaker's Kids Chocolate porridge a try.

If you're selected to take part, you'll be sent one box containing 10 sachets of the Chocolate flavour porridge to try with your child(ren) and you'll be asked to add your comments to a feedback thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who takes part and adds their feedback will be in with the chance to win £250 worth of Amazon vouchers.

To take part, please add your details here.

Thanks
MNHQ

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 10/02/2012 14:27

It has arrived! I am stupidly excited Grin

QED · 10/02/2012 14:29

Nothing here yet - did get a card from the postman about an underpaid item but am presuming it cost more than 34p to send it and so hopefully Quaker haven't forgotten to put a stamp on Grin

MonsterBookOfTysons · 10/02/2012 14:31

We have ours! Ds was very excited and I have promised he can have some for supper :)

TheLittlestNarwhal · 10/02/2012 14:35

Postman has just delivered ours - I'm tempted to have a sneaky bowlfull before collecting DS2 from school! ;)

TheOneWithTheHair · 10/02/2012 14:35

Got ours today. Dcs don't know yet but will be excited. :)

GwendolineMaryLacey · 10/02/2012 15:37

Just had some for lunch. Had to fight dd off with a spoon... Mmmmmmmmmm :)

DilysPrice · 10/02/2012 16:06

Just had some for lunch, I liked it, DD insisted it wasn't chocolatey enough and added extra cocoa Hmm

Correctmeifiamwrong · 10/02/2012 16:08

I havent had mine yet! boohoo!

whomovedmychocolate · 10/02/2012 16:09

Ours has arrived and DS is absolutely delighted with it he is convinced he is the bear on the box and is shouting 'bears have porridge MORE PORRIDGE' and wolfing it down. I've tried it and actually it's pretty nice. Much nicer than the grown up one was I tried last year. Where is the feedback thread MNHQ? :)

Hulababy · 10/02/2012 16:11

9y DD is currently trying her first bowl of the porridge and says it is really nice. It does smell nice, although I actually don't like porridge myself, and don't like chocolate cereals.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 10/02/2012 16:15

Ours has arrived - thanks very much. Look forward to trying it for breakfast tomorrow. Smile

BehindLockNumberNine · 10/02/2012 16:19

Received ours today - a lovely surprise as I had not had an email due to a small technical hitch (have now also received email...)

The dc (and I) are delighted and cannot wait to try it.

We are away from Sunday until Thursday and will not take the Oats with us (customs would probably eat it all) so will start our test tomorrow and continue Thursday if that is ok?

Yum yum yum...

QED · 10/02/2012 16:40

Our package came not long after I posted before. DC seem unimpressed so far but will try tempting them with it tomorrow morning.

wornoutbutstillwonderful · 10/02/2012 16:47

Just received ours this afternoon, the dc are all looking forward to brekkie in the morning.
