Quaker would like you to try their Oat So Simple Kids Chocolate flavour porridge with your child(ren). Here's what they say about the product: "Quaker Oat So Simple Kids comes in delicious, child-friendly varieties including Chocolate, which has 50% less sugar than the average Chocolate flavoured cereal (click here for nutritional information). Quaker Oat So Simple Kids range provides a tasty source of wholegrain and is quick and easy to prepare - from sachet to bowl in just two minutes."

This product test is open to all UK Mumsnetters with at least one child who would like to give Quaker's Kids Chocolate porridge a try.

If you're selected to take part, you'll be sent one box containing 10 sachets of the Chocolate flavour porridge to try with your child(ren) and you'll be asked to add your comments to a feedback thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who takes part and adds their feedback will be in with the chance to win £250 worth of Amazon vouchers.

To take part, please add your details here.

Thanks

Done, my dd's eat more at breakfast than at any other meal time so chocolate porridge would go down a storm!

MrsCampbellBlack · 01/02/2012 19:00

Chocolate porridge - seriously?

I don't think so.

MissBerta · 01/02/2012 19:01

Porridge me up.

ilovesprouts · 01/02/2012 19:24

mmmmmmmmmmm done

MonsterBookOfTysons · 01/02/2012 19:25

Done. My dc love porridge :)

choccyp1g · 01/02/2012 19:30

I've put in for it purely in the hope of winning vouchers. I can't see what is the difference between "Oat so simper" and any oher porridge, except it is ready measured packs, which might not be the quantity you actually want to cook. And it comes ready sweetened, which is not necessary.

MeDented · 01/02/2012 20:02

I really struggle to get dd to eat anything at breakfast so would love her to try this. Sounds right up ds street too.

Theonewiththehair · 01/02/2012 20:03

Done. Fingers crossed.

NoMoreCakeOclock · 01/02/2012 20:07

Done thanks

inmysparetime · 01/02/2012 20:16

Done, although the nutritional information page does not have allergy information, so I don't know if my DCs can both take part. One is allergic to milk products, but things with cocoa powder are ok.

Dysgu · 01/02/2012 20:37

I had never even considered the possibility that chocolate porridge even consisted! Both my girls love, chocolate, love helping me to make my porridge but won't entertain even tasting it! I wonder if a chocolate version would work - I would love them to have a warm, filling breakfast at this time of year!
Fingers crossed.

bluebump · 01/02/2012 20:39

ilovecats · 01/02/2012 21:22

all done, would love to try this, erm, I mean for the kids to try it!

katz · 01/02/2012 21:29

I used to make chocolate porridge as a teen, ready break and hot chocolate powder was yummy!

Done

Fillybuster · 01/02/2012 21:30

Done. Love the idea of something healthy that sounds enough of a 'treat' to be an incentive for super-good-getting-ready-for-school-in-the-mornings behaviour Wink

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 01/02/2012 21:39

Done - our ds's would love it I'm sure!

ChasTittyBeltUp · 01/02/2012 21:44

Yak. Not even for 250 squid! Nooooo!

ChasTittyBeltUp · 01/02/2012 21:49

The nutritional info says it's designed for over 5's...why's that I wonder? I wass going to relent as 4.6 grams of sugar isn't much at all....but why not for under 5s? One dd is 3...

MummyEmu · 01/02/2012 22:00

Done, would be great for both to be able to have same cereal as littlest can't have dairy, but can try this :)
