How have you devastated your cat today?

I've put privacy film on the front room windows and he can't watch the world go by any more. He's sulking.

😂 Yes, I normally have very little to contribute to this post, she's always too busy sleeping to be devastated or upset at much, but fleaing and worming are huge betrayals. For at least 13 seconds, she's too lazy for grudges.

I ran out of the very expensive tuna pouches they have for their breakfast and they had to share 2 of them between the 3 of them, phone the cat cruelty police now!!!

I looked at him again. Basically, I'm not allowed in his bedroom when he's there. It's like having a crabby teenager.

I complained loudly that her furballs are fucking annoying

I told him off for dropping a dead present at the bottom of the path which my neighbours kids picked up with sticks and dropped in my recycling bin. I then had to fetch it out 🤢.

My little lady is a huff today as it's cold and windy which she doesn't like.

Took a chicken leg bone off him twice. First time I saw him taking it off the plate so I pulled it out of his mouth. The second time I didn't see him taking it but noticed he'd suddenly disappeared from trying to pinch the rest of my dinner and there he was merrily trying to munch on it. Needless to say it was swiftly removed again. Then I devastated him for a 3rd time by wiping a goblet of saliva from his mouth before it landed on my face as he was hovering over me ready to shake his head at a million miles per hour and douse me in a ton of stinky meaty fishy scented kitty slobber 😼

Today I gave her the leg of lamb bone, thought she'd like it.

I removed the fat bumble bee that she had her eye on to a place where she couldn't get it.

I sung a high note at my virtual choir practice, she was on my knee at the time.

My cat hates me for not letting him eat my lemon curd on toast. Even though lemons make him wince. He watched me eat the whole thing with an annoyed look on his face and then when he realised he wasn’t getting fed something he hates he skulked off and disappeared upstairs and I haven’t seen him since.

Swapped my cat onto raw and not my cat is "this delicious! Why I never had this before? I visit FIVE times a day now"

DH just got told off - he spent 2.5 minutes in the bathroom and Silkiecat had allowed 2, even that was too generous. But he did make roast lamb earlier so Silkiecat is being kinder than normal.

She loves a clean house, lots of clean things to put her bum on immediately after they are cleaned, maybe a male / female cat divide on this.

She used to sit on the cat sunbed kids trampoline right next to the manufacturers sign saying no pets on this.

@Silkiescat - that made me laugh re the no pets sign.

Years ago, I had a moving in present of a doormat that said “not you again!” On it. It was placed on the step outside my kitchen door. My gorgeous boy (RIP) would plonk his backside on it in a very deliberate manner whenever my mum came over and we sat in the garden.

I wouldnt put down crunchy until the pouch from yesterday had been eaten.

I insisted on putting outside the large food recycling bin. I know it's the cat's favourite seat but the dustbin men really dont care - they wont wait tomorrow morning.

Furries at the bottom sign sitting. My cat also dislikes my Mum, she always brings a tin of tuna in water as that is the cat's favourite food but Silkiecat eats it, drinks the water then hisses and swipes her paw at my Mum. Dropping tuna off is fine but not coming in. cat.

@Silkiescat - aww, I feel for your mum! Same here, my mum was desperate for my boy to love her. Every time she approached him, he’d lift his paw up as a warning sign - “I’m gonna batter the shit out of you”.

He used to sit partway up stairs and if mum used the downstairs loo, he’d poke his paw through spindles and thwack her on the head as she walked past!

Bless him, miss him loads.

Love the fact that SC takes the tuna, but takes exception to human entry into the house🤣
