I am 50% of the way through chemo. (second time around)(different primary)

My DS (18) has just been diagnosed with depression I think me being diagnosed again was the tipping point.

Due to above I am having to delegate Christmas, it will get done, it did before just not my way.

DH retiring in three years, should be more than enough to live on, but at the moment I am worrying (Like I couldn't worry about that closer to the time) Hmm

Sausage rolls, my job, ditto mince pies.........if they don't happen my DH and my DS will suck it up. Just me worrying.

DS struggling in college and have to go to a meeting on Wednesday

So if some of the night shift would like to come and mind my ,worries whilst I attempt to sleep, it would be gratefully received.

Feel free to add your own, just writing that down has helped.

MrsTerryPratchett · 10/03/2020 01:08

I have to work late so I can take anything anyone wants to put down.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 10/03/2020 01:22

I'm here to lift any pesky worries or fears. Send them on, big or small.

Sleep well everyone.

plinkyplonkyploo · 10/03/2020 01:31

Thank you Drama Alpaca ( don’t know how to bold) this means so much to me ( crying grateful tears) I know am going to drift off now and will have enough energy to be there for my kids tomorrow

MrsMozartMkII · 11/03/2020 00:35

If anyone is in need tonight just lay your fears here and I'll watch over. You rest now.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 11/03/2020 00:37

I’ve only just found this thread. I’ve got an interview tomorrow and have given up studying for it. I won’t sleep so well as I’m a worrier, maybe someone can do my worrying for me?

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/03/2020 00:38

I'll worry for you. The thread helped with my interview worries and I got the job. Maybe it's good luck!

Haggisfish · 11/03/2020 00:39

I’ll worry for you. You get some sleep.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 11/03/2020 00:41

Thank you so much. I’ll head to try and get to sleep now.

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 11/03/2020 00:52

I’m also here to help take care of any worries that are stopping you sleeping. Pop them at the end of the bed and I’ll take care of them while you sleep.

DirtyStinkinBass · 11/03/2020 01:04

What a beautiful thread.
Although I think it is down to the last two posts.

Can someone mind my worries tonight?

Up panicking about COVID-19 contingency plans for work. Worrying about attending my grandfather's funeral in the next two days which involves flying to Scotland tomorrow afternoon.

outnumberedmummy · 11/03/2020 01:06

@DirtyStinkinBass I’ll worry for u, get some sleep x

girlofthenorth · 11/03/2020 04:48

Please can sometime take my worries tonight ... I can't sleep and have work in the morning , still the same , just panicking about health .
DH asleep downstairs so he could have a good nights sleep so I am alone and just want a cuddle , so virtual hug please !
Also how do we get a new thread ? Does @NaomiFromMilkShake need to do ? Thanks all.

plominoagain · 11/03/2020 04:52

I'm here , and I'll take them . Have a hug too and get some rest x

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 11/03/2020 08:22

Thank you everyone that worried for me. Once I fell asleep I didn’t wake up til just before 8 when my son came through. That’s unheard of for me, I usually wake to lee at least once. Getting organised to drop kids at school then I’m going to get myself organised. Thanks again!

NaomiFromMilkShake · 11/03/2020 09:06

Will start a new one now.
