I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

Really, really sorry to read this :( She was one of a handful of posters I always recognised and respected. Meningitis is a bastard - lost a good friend to it years ago and it's a fast and terrifying illness. Rest in peace CatTheif x

I loved her recent thread about being stuck in a tent in the rain.

What a sad loss.

Do you all remember the excitement when she bought her little boat?

And was deciding what to call it.

And then she lost it!

And then she was on it one night, with her DD and niece, or maybe friend, and she was desperate for a pee.

But would have to wake the kids to get to the loo.

She was brilliant. Every time she started a thread, you knew it was going to be mostly mad and completely hilarious. I will really miss her. ❤

I'm shocked and saddened to read the awful news about CatThiefKeith. She came across as a really decent person. MN will be a poorer place without her.

Keith was one of a kind. She was funny and wise and strong. I had the fortune of "talking to her" a few times on here and the news has left me numb. I can only begin to imagine how her nearest and dearest feel
