I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

V sad to hear this. She was a beautiful writer, she could tell a tale so well, have her audience in stitches. I remember the wedding thread, and the cutout one. She seemed like a lot of fun. Her affectionate anecdotes about her family were so amusing. Can't even imagine how they are feeling. I wish them strength in the days ahead.

Oh, how awful. Condolences at this terrible time for her family and friends.

Just adding my voice to the many others here to say, I always recognised her name and remember lots of her threads. A really genuine and funny poster who will be sorely missed on MN and in RL I have no doubt.

Thoughts are with her family and friends. So incredibly sad.

MrsKoala, that's such a lovely idea. Would it be possible to do a face? Or a biscuit. Happy to make a contribution, she was one of my favourite posters. I always thought CTK was the embodiment of a MNetter, just the right side of barmy with such warmth and wit.

Much love to her family, I'll make a donation to the meningitis research Foundation when I get paid on her memory.

Heartbreaking news. My condolences to her family.

I'm so sad to hear this . I loved her stories about odd places she slept , the last one I spoke to her on here was of her in a tent in the pouring rain. I was on the verge of taking her a bottle of wine and a packet of fags.

That truly is awful news. A decent person, gone too soon. I shall miss her. My heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved her.
