I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

Oh no! Such a shock and so terrible for CTK and her family.

Her threads were always hilarious. No surprise to read that she was just as lovely and funny in real life.

Such incredibly sad news. I didn't know her personally but often found her posts very engaging and full of kindness such a sad loss

Just saw this on FB. What a shock, she was such a vibrant and charismatic poster here.

I think mumsnet could do a meningitis awareness campaign in memory of catthiefkeith.

Only last Sunday, 13th she was posting in the morning in response to a poster asking what everyone was doing.....

Have had a friends two kids here for a sleepover so will take them and Dd over the park in a little while, then once I've taken them home we are packing up the camper and heading to the boat for a couple of days.

Need to go via asda pharmacy for some ear drops on the way as I seem to have gone deaf in my right ear.

To go from needing ear drops to passing way in the space of a few days is something that is very difficult to comprehend in a young, presumably healthy woman. It's a sobering thought that it could happen to any of us.

This is just one of the saddest news.

I didn't know her but her threads were on of the first non parenting ones I read on here & her sense of humour shone through.

RIP Catthiefkeith & condolences to everyone who knew her.

Oh no . CTK was a warm and funny woman. Didn't she rescue a little kitty recently? To add to her ever growing menagerie?

Just heartbreaking 😭 She was one of the posters I recognised and she always seemed so lovely and funny. Can't believe someone healthy can be struck down so quickly and pass away. It's terrifying.

I too remember Catthiefs thread about the tent, I think it was quite recently. Deepest sympathies to her family who must be devastated. It may be oneday give some comfort to he dh when he sees how highly she was thought of. 💐

So sad to see this, as many others have said, she was a poster i recognised and loved reading, she had such great stories and so funny. RIP
