Bereavement of mumsnetter Catthiefkeith

I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

Her daughter is 6 and utterly gorgeous, the image of CTK (who referred to herself as the blonde Bella Emberg Grin altho she was nothing of the kind). She was so proud of her.

I remember the cardboard cut out of her fil being served a three course meal story and her neice driving a motorbility thing into a swimming pool on her wedding. I don't think i have ever laughed so much.

No words really are there? So sorry for them all, how bloody cruel life has been :(

Thank you for all requests for a Woolly Hug for her daughter/family, folk want to do something, totally understand how hopeless we all feel, and we hope to make something very beautiful and full of memories from all who would like to help.

Have seen the post from her DH on Facebook now, and in terms of us contacting him, think we need to leave it for a week or so, if you have seen the post he asks for time to grieve and time to make sense of it all. :( Can only begin to imagine what they are going through, just so shocking, But we will.

Sending love and huge hugs to all who love and will miss her. xxx

I will knit. Ill knit the world shittest square of elf and it wont matter as it would have made her laugh. And to try another hobby.

Oh no! How utterly heartbreaking. So sorry for anyone who knew her. She was hands down one of the funniest, most articulate and kind posters I have ever read. I would never pass by one of her posts. So many funny stories. The cardboard cut-out, the neighbour, her DH's weird mate... so many.

She will be sorely missed. May CatThiefKeith RIP.

She was as fantastically funny and witty in real life as she came across on Mumsnet. Such a kind hearted woman too. She will be so missed. And taken so fast, literally here one minute and gone the next. Rest in peace V.

I don't know where would be best Slithy The bereavement topic just doesn't seem right, personally I think Classics is more appropriate for her, but no need to worry about it yet, it's safe for 90 days I'm sure MNHQ will oblige.
