Can it really be five years since the tea-drinking party, led by NormanTheForeman swept to victory in the last general election? Oh yes it can! And today the plastic people are off to the polling stations again.

This year's parties standing for election are as follows:-

Tea-drinking party (leader NormanTheForeman)

Lifesaving party (leader KylieTheLifeguard)

Law and Order party (leader MichaelTheBeachPoliceman)

Military party (leader Sir Ospringe Bapchild)

Legalise Robbery party (leader Jack Jellyhead)

PlaymoLand Independence party (PLIP) (leader Nigel Garage)

Here's a photo of all the party leaders.

I'll be back shortly to tell you a little about each party's main policies.

Polls are open now and will close at 10 pm.

Cast your vote here! Grin

SDTG this almost swung my vote too, until I was reassured by the earlier post that said that coffee is seen as an acceptable alternative.

JadziaSnax · 07/05/2015 18:31

This is a tough decision. I'm glad that Norm approves of coffee drinkers and I am fond of a fry up, however life is definitely better than the alternative.

Kylie X

JadziaSnax · 07/05/2015 18:31

That was my X to vote.

Whatsforsupper · 07/05/2015 18:34

Brilliant we can vote.

Tea drinking party for me:)

Wonder will this end up in classics like your previous thread.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/05/2015 18:36

Ohhh no - I missed that, DrDiva. Shock

In that case, if I can change my vote, I will vote for Norman. [turncoat]

snice · 07/05/2015 18:41

Tea Party for me please. Go Norman!

Disneyfan1995 · 07/05/2015 18:42

Torn between Norman and Kylie.... But reckon lifesaving has to win over tea drinking as I can't do the latter if I'm not living!
Kylie gets my vote Smile

ByTheWishingWell · 07/05/2015 18:50

I do love tea, but possibly not more than life itself. Another vote for Kylie here.

dreamygirl · 07/05/2015 18:54

Another vote for Tea Drinking Party here, I think Norman's track record is solid.

DD is backing PLIP, which I think is hypocritical since she actively encourages Lego Friends pets in the Playmo vet surgery.

LeChien · 07/05/2015 18:58

Tea drinking party for me.
Go Norm.

GoldfishSpy · 07/05/2015 18:59

Tea Party.

quietasamouse · 07/05/2015 18:59

Didn't Michael used to be the Minister for Justice Hmm?

ErmICantThinkOfAName · 07/05/2015 19:18

So glad to see democracy in progress!

Before I cast my vote I have to know if Norman puts the jam on first or the cream on first when partaking in a cream tea?

Also, my husband would like to know what his stance is in smoked bacon vs unsmoked bacon on a fry-up?

I have my suspicions about Kylie and her plans for a water park. I suspect she is on some sort of mission to create jobs for her own type, perhaps to the detriment of other residents of Plamoland Hmm

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 19:21

Michael stood for the Law and Order party at the last election, but di then become Minister for Justice. This was a slight anomaly, due to the fact that ds chose most of the cabinet, and was then only 9, and didn't quite grasp the fact that the cabinet all have to come from the party or parties in power! Grin

Norm puts the jam on first. He prefers unsmoked bacon, but would be happy with any bacon really.

I am decided.

Normantheforeman X

HairyMaclary · 07/05/2015 19:36

One vote for Kylie the lifeguard from DS1 and one for Jack Jellyhead from DS2.

They are pleased to have had a chance to vote on polling day!

Hullabalooey · 07/05/2015 19:41

A Kylie vote from me. It will probably have more effect than the other one I cast at the local polling station! ??

Tikkabillajive · 07/05/2015 19:47

I can't BELIEVE this has being going on today without my knowledge!

Our 5 Father Christmases are very disgruntled to hear about the disbanding of their party. I think Norm should stay in office for another term.

Stealthsquiggle · 07/05/2015 19:55

Before we get into pundit mode (I will be on a plane when polls close so need to get my facts straight now), how has the population of playmoland changed since the last election? And do Lego immigrants get to vote?

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 20:05

The population of Playmoland has increased since the last election. We don't seem to have had any Lego immigrants recently...

I am voting for Norman. Way to go norman

quietasamouse · 07/05/2015 20:08

Aha, I thought I had unearthed a Michael scandal but that explains his Minister role fully. Thank you.

My vote for NTF still stands. Fry-ups all the way.

UnicornFart · 07/05/2015 20:10

Norman gets the vote in the Unicorn Household

Anyone who can drink tea all day, is my kinda person!

Stealthsquiggle · 07/05/2015 20:20

With low levels of immigration, Nigel looks set to lose his deposit I hope
