Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

they're flogging fireworks on our local page already Angry

StrawberryCheese · 31/10/2014 20:26

This thread is great! I'm looking at my local selling page for the first time.

A woman has posted a screen grab showing a kids Minnie mouse armchair and she simply says 'I'm looking for this I want cheaper thx' there is no price visible in the pic and she's bumped the post twice Hmm

There's a bottle of Echo Falls Wine covered in red glitter complete with 'labouton style' shoe wine holder. I think she means Christian Louboutin and yes the shoe has a red glittery sole Grin There is no price sadly and you know what they say... If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

OMG, this is great. The amount of Frozen shit! Shock

There is this one on my local one:

Hi my name is [removed] and I have started my home based business in June 2014, I'm really excited about the fact that I am my own boss and I have financial flexibility, I am looking for some passionate and self motivated individuals who dream big and have courage to get out and make their dreams come true, if you are one of them please inbox me!!

With a pixelated motivational poster which also doesn't say anything about what her business actually is.

BertieBotts · 31/10/2014 21:23

All of my local local ones are closed :( The only open one is overrun by Forever Living and Juice Plus (I assume that's what the dodgy home business is) and adverts for online businesses.

MummyPig24 · 31/10/2014 21:23

Anyone fancy these two beauties? Only £45 apparently.

Stupid Facebook selling.
ConcreteElephant · 31/10/2014 21:44

Randy, how many children does that Frozen party package cater for? 10 plates and food/party boxes but only 9 invitations, and only 7 service totes.

Leaving aside the fact that it looks naff, the numbers just don't make sense at all!

ConcreteElephant · 31/10/2014 21:45

Service totes?

Damn you autocorrect, what, serviettes isn't a word now?
