The Weather on TV will be a LOT shorter.

We will only have to wait 5 minutes for the weather girl to get round to us, instead of the usual 15 minutes, while they go all round the houses Scotland etc. Grin

Laughing through the tears. I shouldn't be so emotional but the thought of Scotland leaving us gets to me.

I'm guessing that from many many comments most people don't realise Hadrian's wall is in England. Goes through Carlisle, Newcastle & terminating in Wallsend.

OwlCapone · 18/09/2014 19:27

whilst a national anthem to the tune of Beyoncé plays in the background.

I'm sure we could come up with something suitable by rejigging Single Ladies.

I vote for trying to smuggle Nessie out. Lake Windermere would be big enough for her

Nah, not deep enough.

We don't need Hadrian's Wall, we have millions of unemployed, some dynamite and a JCB.

FrankelandFilly · 18/09/2014 19:32

If we can't pull off the physical separation bit, the second best option would be to dig a farking big trench and have rabid hungry Haggi running feral in it. That'll stop any illegal immigrants from getting across

TwoLeftSocks · 18/09/2014 19:39

I'm trying to think of a biscuit positive but I can't - I REALLY LIKE SHORTBREAD, DON'T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME!!!

HavanaSlife · 18/09/2014 19:49

My jo? Who the fuck is jo?

I alqays thought it was my dear

FoxSticks · 18/09/2014 19:51

Is Jo one of the Haggi?

ErrolTheDragon · 18/09/2014 19:52

Shortbread isnt appellation controlee, make your own . And oatcakes, dead easy. (Though Cameron had better choose a new favourite rather than foreign muck)

But what if it has Scottish Shortbread on the tin, surely provenance is key? Like Parma ham.

Just can't bear the thought of making do with custard creams. Bet the shitting dragon would end up eating them too.

JillJ72 · 18/09/2014 20:19

What about Crabbies.....? Will we be crabby without Crabbies?

FrankelandFilly · 18/09/2014 20:21

Perhaps we can set up an illicit shortbread smuggling ring with some Scottish MNers.

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 20:29

I do too... I have already munched my way through a packet today through nerves...

If we have to move I'll bring loads down with me Wink

TwoLeftSocks · 18/09/2014 20:40

Maybe we can train the haggi to smuggle it out in panniers - I saw some Yokrshire terriers wearing some recently. Like the SOE but with different length legs.

HesterShaw · 18/09/2014 20:45

I think therefore I am (cogito ergo sum)

Cogitoergosometimes ... I think sometimes

Ah. I see

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 20:47

Thank you everyone. Reading this has had me roaring with laughter, rather than in floods of tears.

Wine to you allSmile

HesterShaw · 18/09/2014 20:49

I think I will have a go at that flag. Now...where are my felts...?

TwoLeftSocks · 18/09/2014 20:51

Oh, I had a thought, could the dragon be necking Bushmills or climbing the Giant's Causeway, for the N.I. bit?

AuntieStella · 18/09/2014 20:51

(I rather fancied having the name 'CoitoErgoSum' but thought t would be too confusing here).

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 20:52

I think I've forgotten the Isle of Man's legs though. Where could they go?

Tongue's a bit long isn't it? More like a pointy trunk.
