You know what it'll lead to if they do honour all orders?
Abandoned recliners, that's what.
Oh yes, lots of people think it's 'a good idea' to grab one - or several - when the going's good. These things need time and attention, people.
They'll need careful manoeuvring by more than one person.
They'll need skill and cre to place correctly - they can't be just chucked n a room and left to get on with it.
There'll be mechanisms to oil and crumbs to remove.
I think some people just haven't thought this through.
And then when it's all too much of a committment, what will we see?
Neglected and abandoned recliners the length and breadth of the country, that's what!
Once-proud recliners will sit sadly in back yards and sheds and they will be the lucky ones - lucky, I tell you.
There'll be barely a layby or roundabout without the shame of a cast out recliner trying to do its best to look inviting in the hope that some kind soul will take pity and give it the comfort of a warm room and a grateful arse. Because the alternative will be to be pissed on by youths or - look away if you are a kindly soul - set fire to...just for a laugh.
Is that what we want?
For shame.
WILL NOBODY THINK OF THE RECLINERS!!!!
