Sorry am on phone so apologies if this makes no sense but he was doing t-Rex in Asda so i slapped his arm (not hard obviously) and he got really cross and said he'd stand however he wants and stormed off. It was really embarrassing as loads of people were staring and he'd told me to remind him anyway! He's acting like nothing has happened now. Aibu to not just let it drop?

OP posts:

Bang a gong get it on in the asda queue

LivingOnTheDancefloor · 28/07/2016 20:40

Today my 2yo decided to cover himself in poo during naptime and I had to clean the mess.
Tonight I am laughing out loud to this post. Thank you so much OP, you saved my day Grin

EarthboundMisfit · 28/07/2016 20:42

I was in a terrible mood, but no longer!

ZippyNeedsFeeding · 28/07/2016 20:50

I have no idea what this is all about but I felt the need to say that ducks are notorious shaggers. We used to have some (including one which DS2 named Vagina-he went to school and told his teacher that his Vagina had laid an egg) and you couldn't leave the house without tripping over copulating ducks! I knew my BIL was having woman troubles again when DH got off the phone to him and said "FFS, that man's worse than ducks!".

Scoopmuckdizzy · 28/07/2016 21:02

Oh I remember reading this when DS1 was a few days old. It made more sense to me then.

BringingYoniBack · 28/07/2016 21:02

You bastards made me read this.

MarklahMarklah · 28/07/2016 21:11

Nice to see this back again. DD (5) was being a T-Rex at tesco last week, but only briefly. DH joined in but couldn't reach the quorn kievs so reverted back to human.

Kmoggy · 28/07/2016 21:11

I can't be bothered reading 21 pages to find out if op has cleared up the t-Rex question but has she,?

ArmySal · 28/07/2016 21:19

I've just stood next to dh like a T Rex - he didn't slap me but looked at me funny and said "is this a mumsnet thing?" Grin

Funny thread Grin

Voddy4 · 28/07/2016 21:23

Hagothehills · 28/07/2016 22:03

BringingYoniBack · 28/07/2016 22:40

HerRoyalFattyness · 28/07/2016 22:53
Butteredparsnips · 28/07/2016 23:04

Argh zombie T-Rex. I was thinking how nice it was to see posters I've not seen around for a while.

Then I realised.

PersianCatLady · 28/07/2016 23:19

he was doing t-Rex in Asda
What on Earth does this even mean??

PaulAnkaTheDog · 28/07/2016 23:30

...What the FUCK?! How did I miss this amazing moment in mumsnet history?!

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 28/07/2016 23:43

To quote Manuel "Que"

hazeimcgee · 29/07/2016 00:41

Tells you to remind him what?? How do you stand like a T Rex?

MsKite · 29/07/2016 00:50

Was there also a thread that had something to do with red wine getting sprayed on the curtains, or am I imagining that?

MsKite · 29/07/2016 00:50

Or maybe a shower curtain??

DoloresVanCartier · 29/07/2016 01:06

MsKite... It was over rainbow videos that Adam from produce in tesco had brought round for her DH to watch, she called him bungle, he wasn't happy, and he then buggered of to Sharon's house to listen to Erasure, but before he did he threw wine on the wall, there was also a wasp on the carpet I think.......... I laughed and laughed at the replies about Sharon and someone wrote a whiteboard list of what we needed to know (which was everything)

MsKite · 29/07/2016 01:09

Yes! Thank you Dolores. You've got a good memory. There was a wasp. I loved that thread. They don't make em like that anymore

DoloresVanCartier · 29/07/2016 01:21

This one really stuck with me! I'd always hoped it would go to classics so I could read it again. But I still love the T-Rex situation too Grin
