Sorry am on phone so apologies if this makes no sense but he was doing t-Rex in Asda so i slapped his arm (not hard obviously) and he got really cross and said he'd stand however he wants and stormed off. It was really embarrassing as loads of people were staring and he'd told me to remind him anyway! He's acting like nothing has happened now. Aibu to not just let it drop?

OP posts:

Reminds you of the babe?

Pandemoniaa · 20/06/2012 09:11

Grin @ Blatherskite.

Glittertwins · 20/06/2012 10:03

I go away for a few days and miss all this, its SO unfair

geminitiger · 20/06/2012 10:51

I think that I'm going to go work for Asda, they clearly have far more interesting customers! Going to be on the lookout for dinosaurs all day now. OP if I felt the need to connect with my inner animal whether I was surrounded by tins of tuna ot not I'd annoyed to receive a slap. If Owl, Spiderman and Mole resurface please send Owl to the stationery aisle, Spiderman to the household aisle and Mole to the crisps aisle. I can't wait to see if there's more to this story as what I've read so far has made me cry

MrsHelsBels74 · 20/06/2012 10:56

I have instructed my husband that he is to do a t-Rex all the way round Asda next time we're there...will try & get photographic evidence!

TantrumsAndBalloons · 20/06/2012 11:05

I need to know what owl etc is?

Hullygully · 20/06/2012 11:07

oh oh oh I have missed it all

was it the wasp and the stain in the carpet and the sharon and the veg stall?

was it?

LateDeveloper · 20/06/2012 11:09

@Markruffalo! crying with laughter at genius song

ExitPursuedByABear · 20/06/2012 11:12

T Rex provided the background to my youth.

Now it is all spoilt by the thought of groceries being cuddled.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 20/06/2012 11:15

Can't understand what cuddling the basket has to do with t Rex?

Anyone want to elaborate?

OlaRapaceFru · 20/06/2012 11:15

It would appear so, Hully Grin

Hullygully · 20/06/2012 11:18

I missed it all tantrums, all I know is that every now and then this marvellous poster comes on and is utterly and uniquely bizarre.

OlaRapaceFru · 20/06/2012 11:20

Before he was 'doing' T-rex, he was cuddling the shopping basket ... apparently Confused

Hullygully · 20/06/2012 11:22

see? Obvious when you think about it

TantrumsAndBalloons · 20/06/2012 11:29

Of course.... Silly me......

ComposHat · 20/06/2012 11:29

I once danced round Tesco like Tina Turner to 'proud Mary' - it was with my sister, she didn't slap me, but did give me a withering glancev or six. I had just got off the train and had overdone the gins in a tin.

NotGeoffVader · 20/06/2012 13:01

I don't shop in Asda but am happy to 'do' a dinosaur impression in Waitrose later at the risk of being slapped.

However, I would like some advice:
I will have too much shopping to enable me to cuddle the basket - should I dry-hump the trolley instead?
Is a T-Rex impression suitable for Waitrose? If not, should it be something else from the Cretaceous period such as Albertosaurus, Anatosaurus, Corythosaurus, or Parasaurolophus? Or should I go for something from the Tertiary Period?
I don't have an owl or mole but can ask DH to put his pants over his trousers and be spiderman. Do you think this would be acceptable?

PandaWatch · 20/06/2012 13:32

Why do I always find these threads after all the good stuff has already been posted?!

I think there should be a way for the first person to spot a bonkers thread to send out an APB to all users!

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 20/06/2012 13:43

Why aren't you seizing the boy?

I have a big head and little arms... :(

HarrogateMum · 20/06/2012 13:56

Now I have "he does the T Rex in Asda" going round in my head to the tune of Moves like Jagger.....aaaaaaggghhh!

TantrumsAndBalloons · 20/06/2012 13:57

So do I now, thanks :)

HarrogateMum · 20/06/2012 14:22

My pleasure Tantrums!
